Nothing but trouble Lucy
His absurdness makes me scoff.
His eyes narrow into slits and for a moment I worried he might follow up on his earlier promise.
For a moment I am distracted as if thinking about his words.
Bend me over the table.
The way he said it sent a delicious shiver down my spine.
It has my wolf yelping for joy asking me to let him do it.
What a little slut.
My gaze runs over his muscular arm and the thought of how he would grab and spank my ass he teaches me to behave like the good girl he wants me to have me sticking out my tongue to lick my lips.
I need to snap out of it.
He holds my gaze the entire time, but both stare openly at each other.
We both know what is running in the mind of each other.
Each daring the other to act upon it.
The broken bond is shimmering lowly lets us both know it’s still there.
It still wants us to get back together but I don’t think that is going to happen.
His resentment for me runs deep, not that I blame him I left him for dead after all.
But I have grown over these past years.
I look away first, as starting into an alpha’s eyes is an open challenge.
If I was still his mate he would have taken pride in me being strong enough to look at him but given the situation, he will take it as an insult.
“Yeah, it’s a good thing I am not your mate yet.” I fire back after stretching silence.
He grinds his teeth and fists his arms but doesn’t say anything.
I know my words hit a nerve my pride has gotten the best of me.
Like I said I won’t give him the satisfaction of watching me suffer.
“If that is all you may leave.” He is quick to chase me out.
We can’t even stand being in the same room for a long time.
How did the moon goddess just decide we were meant for each other?
“I didn’t say I was done.
My other reason for coming here is to request my name be taken off the warrior’s list.” I request keeping my face as stoic as ever.
The fewer emotions I show the better.
“ Am sorry but I can’t grant you that wish.” He replies effortlessly.
He didn’t even bother to think about it behind that straight handsome face I see a devilish smirk.
He has where to hit me back.
“Why not?”
He pushes himself off the desk he leaning on and takes a step forward.
I stand my ground, I don’t appear to be afraid of him.
This man is hot.
His rich thick dark brown hair sexily falls over his face and he runs a hand over his head to push it back.
My eyes can’t look away even if they want to the simple action looked very sexy, and the intricate tattoos over his biceps contributed to how attractive he looked.
I can’t tell if he was doing this on purpose or not.
But whatever it is, it was slowly working.
“ It’s not nice to question your Alpha, Reed.” He starts,“ I don’t think I owe you any reasons as to why I can’t remove your name.”
Such an arrogant bastard indeed.
It’s my body I have the right to what I do with myself.
Dad decided for me.” As childish as my reasoning sounds I don’t care my mouth would spill just about anything to escape from the horror of being trained by his older brother.
He walks closer till he is standing right in front of me.
Only a few inches of space separated us.
I didn’t realize how tall he is until he is standing right in front of me.
I crane my neck to get a better few of this muscular giant.
Even so, he has to bend over so we can be in eyes view.
I stay poised, the last thing I want is to get drawn into those captivating green eyes of his.
I breathe in his scent and I help but close my eyes for a brief moment.
He catches onto the moment of weakness and a devilish smirk coats his sexy full lips.
His eyes flicker to lips briefly and mine flicker to him too.
How I would kiss those lips.
He begins to lean closer and when I feel his lips ever so slightly he pulls back.
“ And I don’t give a fuck.”
He pulls back all taking his comforting steel and body heat altogether, walking back to his desk and leaving me confused before I can recollect myself.
That simple action almost had to be curving.
This devil of a man knows exactly what he is doing.
I glare at him and he shrugs.
My eyes narrow at me and he smiles.
I gasp, his smile is breathtaking.
I know this isn’t something he is faking.
“ I won’t be coming for the training,” I reply defiantly.
A light chuckle leaves his lips, it is more full of mockery than anything else.
He knows how to get me riled up without even trying.
“Trust me the last thing you want to do is get on Aidens bad side.” He warns.
I roll my eyes once again.
In a flash, he is front of me.
For someone that huge he sure is fast.
His hand is on my neck he holds lightly now apply any pressure.
His chest rumbles his growls prominent.
Showing his displeasure over my earlier action.
I guess I will never learn.
“ What did I tell you?” He growls out his voice low and deep.
Such a turn-on if you ask me.
I stay quiet as I don’t know what to answer.
“Cat got your tongue.” He teases in that sexy deep voice of his.
He takes in a deep breath, breathing in as much of my scent as he can.
“No…”
My eyes roll back as I moan feeling the sparks I thought were dead come to life the moment his lips kiss that soft spot on my neck that instantly makes my knees weak.
How he found it so fast was a mystery to me.
The session is electric.
My hands get lost in his locks as he assaults my neck.
Without warning, he pulls away from me.
The action was so sudden as if he touched fire and got burned.
“ Go!” He growls out and I don’t need to be told twice as I scurry out of there.
I bolt out of his office and out of the pack house.
My uncontrollable beating heart made it hard for me to breathe.
Well, that sure did escalate quickly.
I am blaming dad for this.
I get home in record time, it’s almost dark just how much time did I spend there?
‘Enough time to have him kissing your neck’ my sassy wolf replies.
It’s like she was just waiting for the opportunity and found one.
I ignore her, it’s the best thing I can do right now.
Surprisingly she doesn’t say anything else.
Finally, in my room, I breathe out as I try to think of what just happened.
But nothing did happen right.
‘Who are you kidding?’ my wolf butts in once more.
‘ It’s not like he kissed my lips’ I tell her.
‘ Yeah right,’ if she had her own human body and I could see I know she could have rolled her eyes at me.
That sassy wolf.
Feeling I had had a long day I decided to take a shower before bed skipping through dinner and heading straight to bed.
After what happened I don’t think I will be able to stomach anything.
I am still so confused about the sparks and how they felt so…..strong.
Alpha Kayden Gray is nothing but trouble.
His a hot burning flame and I don’t know why I am more than willing to play with fire.
The next day I am in the training field taking 20 laps around the huge area.
I am already getting exhausted with all the running but I have no choice.
Well, let’s just say I didn’t listen to Kayden and now I am on Beta Aiden’s bad side.
He didn’t waste time coming to my place and dragging me out to the field.
I was ready to protest and fight back but then I remembered how he kicked my ass the time he got the title from me and that alone made me shiver.
To make things worse I worse a turtle neck in the scorching sun to hide the hickey that Kayden had left on my neck.
Well, I don’t even own any scurfs and makeup wouldn’t cut it with all the training.
It was a nightmare and I began to wonder if Kayden did that on purpose to make me suffer more in this heat.
I was surprised no one asked just yet.
“ Reed!!!!
It’s too hot why don’t you take off that hot thing you are wearing?!!!” Beta Aiden shouted from where he was standing as he inspected me to make sure I wouldn’t run away.
I guess I spoke too soon.
I glared at him and the mischievous laugh that left his lips to let me know he knew what I was hiding.
