Before I could even process the complete disaster Rakki had just dropped on me, another call pinged on my screen—it was Aries again!
I quickly clicked over, my hands shaking violently.

”Jay!
We have a massive, nuclear disaster!” Aries screamed into the phone in total panic!

He continued,”Keifer overheard my phone conversation with you just a few moments ago!
So when he stepped out and demanded to know where you were, I panicked and told him you were over at Rakki’s house!
He sprinted out to his car like a madman!” 🏃♂️💨
”Aries, are you CRAZY?!” I yelled into the phone, clutching my head in absolute madness!
🤯💥 “Rakki literally JUST called me to say she told Keifer I was at YOUR house!” 🏠‼️
”Wait…
WHAT?!” Aries screamed back over the line, his voice cracking in utter disbelief!😱‼️ “So what the hell are we supposed to do now?!
He’s going to figure out we lied!” 💥
”How am I supposed to know?!” I shrieked into the mic!

”Oh crap—he’s back!
He’s back,jay!Keifer’s car just pulled up outside right now!” Aries whispered frantically, his voice dropping to an icy chill.
🏎️💨 “I have to go—”
CLICK!
The line went completely dead.

(We are dead.
We are literally, officially DEAD!)
I sank into Percy’s couch, staring blankly at the ceiling in pure horror.

Aries POV: 🚘
I had arrived back home after running a quick errand, hoping everything would settle down.
But the second I stepped into the living room, I heard the sharp, ear-splitting screech of car tires tearing into our driveway!

Seconds later, the front door slammed open, and Keifer walked inside.
The sheer, suffocating frustration and rage radiating off him was terrifying.

”Keifer?
What are you doing back here?” I asked, stepping toward him.

He didn’t even bother replying to me.
He completely ignored my presence, marching with fast, angry, heavy strides straight toward Jay’s room!

”What happened?!” I asked urgently, following right behind him down the hallway.

He stopped dead in his tracks, spinning around and glaring back at me with eyes full of fury.
“Why was Jay ignoring me?!” 🤬💥
”Look, I’ll talk about this with Jay,” I lied quickly, trying to defuse the ticking time bomb in front of me.
💣 “She’s sick.
Just let her rest.” 🤒
He gave me a cold, lethal look before turning around and walking toward the kitchen area.

(Thank God he’s backing off,)
I thought, taking a deep breath.
😮💨 Taking advantage of the quiet moment, I immediately pulled out my phone and called Jay, warning her to reply to his texts right away if she didn’t want our cover completely blown.

What I didn’t realize was that Keifer hadn’t actually left the house.
🛑 He was standing right behind the kitchen wall, silently listening to every single word of my phone call with Jay!

The second I hung up the phone, he stepped out from behind the wall, his face dark, twisted with pure fury!

”WHERE IS JAY?!” he shouted, his voice booming through the empty hallway!

Caught completely off guard and panicking under his lethal glare, the absolute first stupid lie that came to my mind slipped out of my mouth.
“She…
she’s with Rakki!” 😅📱
Without saying another word, he turned on his heel, slammed the door, and stormed out of the house to his car!

I quickly redialed Jay to warn her that Keifer was on his way to Rakki’s place right now.
(Jay please pick up the phone !
Please !)
I thought while pacing here and there .
But the moment Jay picked up, she dropped that massive bombshell—Rakki had already told Keifer that Jay had gone back to our house!

Before we could even process how utterly ruined we were, the roaring, thunderous engine of Keifer’s car echoed in the driveway again.
He had realized the math didn’t add up!

”Oh crap—he’s back!
He’s back ,jay!Keifer’s car just pulled up outside right now!”

“I have to go—” I whispered hurriedly into the phone and hung up instantly.

The front door slammed open with a deafening, thunderous BANG!
💥🚪 Keifer entered, looking completely consumed by wild worry, betrayal, and unchecked rage!

”WHERE IS JAY?!” he shouted at the top of his lungs, barging blindly toward her bedroom again!

”Keifer, stop!” I threw my entire body in front of him to block the hallway, but he shoved me out of the way with terrifying, crazy force, sending me stumbling against the wall!

The loud commotion echoed through the entire mansion.
Kuya Angelo came walking out of his study into the hallway, frowning in complete confusion and annoyance at the noise.

”What happened?
What is all this noise going on out here?” Kuya Angelo asked sternly.

Keifer spun around, his chest heaving, his voice shaking with pure anger as he confronted him face-to-face.
“Where is Jay?!” 🤬💥
”In her room,” Kuya Angelo answered, utterly bewildered by his explosive behavior.
“Why?” 🤔
Without answering, Keifer violently threw open her bedroom door with a loud crash!

The room was quiet, neat, perfectly organized…
and completely empty.

Keifer froze at the threshold.
The silence in the room was deafening.
He slowly turned back around to face us, his eyes wide, wild, bloodshot, and breathing heavily like a wounded animal.
😳🔥
”She’s not in her room,” Keifer growled, his voice trembling with unchecked fury and terrifying desperation.
“Where the hell is she?!
What are you hiding from me?” ,He screamed 🤬‼️
Kuya Angelo’s eyes widened in sheer shock as he looked inside the empty room, his face draining of all color.
He slowly turned his head toward me, a terrifying, deadly aura radiating off him.

”Aries…” Kuya Angelo’s voice dropped to a dangerous, icy whisper that chilled me to the bone.
“WHERE IS YOUR SISTER?!” 🔪💥
