People had always lived in a civilized, law-abiding society, so for the time being there had been no cases of murder, only theft of supplies. Those who had previously shown off their stockpiles online or on social media were now at a much higher risk of being targeted. Some had already deleted their posts, but it was too late; what had been seen had already been seen. At the moment, things were still relatively contained, but in the future, those people would definitely be the first to be robbed.

However, due to the weather conditions, heat radiation and heatstroke, many people were already losing their lives because they could not be rescued in time. The elderly were especially vulnerable; many of them already had underlying health conditions and simply could not withstand the extreme heat.

That day, Jiang Li planned to go out at night during the power outage.Full novel: Apocalypse Farming: I Stockpile Hundreds of Thousands of Goods Using My Space Ability — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

After dinner, she waited until around 11 p.m. By then, the electricity had already been cut off for some time, and the internet was also down. With no entertainment available, most people had gone to sleep early.

Jiang Li wore a black long-sleeved outfit with black pants, a black hat, and a mask before heading out.

She did not plan to drive today. A car would be too conspicuous, and there was no guarantee that some night owl would see her. So once she reached downstairs, she switched to rollerblades taken from her space and left.

Her first destination was a pharmacy on a nearby street. After arriving, she confirmed that the surveillance cameras were not working. She put on gloves, took out lock-picking tools from her space, and opened the pharmacy door. She had learned this skill in her previous life from others in the base.

Once inside, she stored all the medicines on the shelves into her space, but deliberately left a small portion behind for those who might need them later. After finishing the front area, she went into the back room labeled “storage” and collected all the medicines there as well.

Tonight, aside from medical supplies, her main target was vehicles. Earlier, Jiang Li had already taken a liking to several cars at a dealership, but she had not been able to buy them at the time because she did not have enough funds.

Following the route to the car dealership, she passed several pharmacies along the way and used the same method to store them into her space. While passing a supermarket, she even saw someone seemingly trying to pry open the store’s door. Jiang Li immediately concealed herself in the darkness and quickly passed by without drawing any attention.

She finally arrived at the car dealership. After confirming that no one was around, she carefully opened the door and, under the faint moonlight, quickly made her way to the vehicles she had previously selected. Along the way, she also stored any other cars she considered suitable into her space.

The main vehicle she had set her eyes on was a Hummer. It had a large interior space, high safety performance, and strong off-road capability, very suitable for survival in the apocalypse, even though it consumed a lot of fuel.

She then went to the manager’s office on the second floor and stored all the keys from the drawers into her space. Time was tight, so there was no way she could try them one by one.

There were also several motorcycles and an RV in the dealership that she had previously considered. She stored them all into her space as well. As for sports cars, they were completely outside her consideration. In the apocalypse, gasoline would be extremely expensive and increasingly scarce over time. Low-utility vehicles like sports cars had already been abandoned, fuel was too precious to waste on them.

The dealership also had a repair section at the back. She stored everything inside that area as well. Jiang Li was not very familiar with repairs, but in the future, there would surely be people in the base who were. With parts available, anything could be repaired if needed.

Usually, there would be a gas station near a car dealership. Jiang Li went there next and found four fuel tanker trucks. Unfortunately, they were empty, likely already fully unloaded. Still, she stored the trucks into her space. At least they were free containers.

Then she located the fuel unloading area of the gas station.
