“Don’t move! ” A sudden shout scared Situ Yu, who had just woken up and tried to sit up. He trembled. “Mo Han? ”
Mo Han gently pushed him back onto the bed.
“I already treated you. You’re not in danger anymore, but your injuries are very serious. My ability level is still low, so I can’t fully heal you. It’s better if you stay in bed.”
“That’s impossible! I took that wolf’s final attack. I shouldn’t have survived.”
Mo Han said,
“I need to tell you something. After you passed out, I absorbed the crystal cores of the two dead mutated wolves. I awakened a healing ability, and that’s how I saved you. I’ll find crystals of the same level or higher to repay you later.”
Situ Yu shook his head with a bitter smile.

“Where are we now? ”

“According to the road signs, this is MZ Town in HE City. It’s relatively safe. Not many zombies. If we’re careful, we should be fine. You should rest here.”
Situ Yu struggled to get up.
“I’m fine. I can still travel. We should go meet up with Shen Yuan and the others.”
Mo Han shook his head.
“No. Right now, you’re the only one who can fight. If you’re not strong enough, we’ll die if something happens.”
“What do you mean I’m the only one who can fight? ” Situ Yu frowned.
“Aren’t you a dual-type ability user? And level two? ”
Mo Han gave a bitter smile.
“My dual abilities are gone. Now I only have a level two healing ability.”
Situ Yu shouted in shock,
“Your abilities are gone?! That’s impossible! Without a strong external force, abilities can’t just disappear! ”
Mo Han calmly said,
“I couldn’t handle the power of the level-three crystal, so my abilities were destroyed.”
“Do you think I’m stupid?! ” Situ Yu snapped.
“If someone can’t handle a crystal, they explode and die! Their abilities don’t just disappear. Tell me the truth! ”
Mo Han suddenly smiled strangely. He grabbed Situ Yu’s chin playfully.
“I destroyed my own abilities. Only then could I awaken healing power and save you. So? Are you touched? Want to marry me to repay me? ”
Situ Yu froze, then suddenly smirked. He pushed Mo Han down onto the bed and leaned close to his ear.
“So you want me to give myself to you? ”
Feeling his breath, Mo Han panicked. His face turned red.
“I was joking! I’m sorry! Get off! ”
Situ Yu laughed and let him go.
“Looks like I owe you a big favor. But your reaction is funny. You’re like a shy girl. Are you still a virgin? ”
Mo Han, who had been single in both lives, got angry.
“What’s wrong with being a virgin?! Weren’t you one too?! ”
Situ Yu lay back casually and smiled.
“I’m not.”
Mo Han glared at him.
“You pervert.”
“I slept with my girlfriend. That’s normal.”
Mo Han still looked disgusted.
“Did you marry her? If not, that’s just being irresponsible! ”
Situ Yu stared at him like he discovered something new.
Mo Han felt uneasy.
“What are you looking at? ”
Situ Yu laughed.
“Nothing. I just think you act like someone from hundreds of years ago. So old-fashioned.”
“You’re the weird one! ” Mo Han snapped. If Situ Yu hadn’t saved him earlier, he would have kicked him already.
Situ Yu rubbed his stomach.
“I’m hungry.”
Mo Han looked down at him coldly.
“Then get up and find food.”
Situ Yu exaggerated dramatically.
“I’m injured! You want a patient to find food himself?! ”
Mo Han gritted his teeth.
“You don’t look like a patient at all! ”
Even so, he still went to cook for him.
Watching Mo Han leave, Situ Yu smiled slightly.
He hadn’t felt this relaxed in a long time. Mo Han felt… different from others.
After cooking, Mo Han brought the food and placed it on a table.
“Eat. Don’t choke.”
Situ Yu lay lazily on the bed.
“My arms hurt. Feed me.”
Mo Han almost threw the food at him.
“Stop pretending! I healed you! I know exactly how you are! Keep acting and I’ll throw you to the zombies! ”
Situ Yu shrugged, sat up, and started eating calmly.

At this rate, he might die from anger instead of zombies.
While eating, Situ Yu suddenly frowned.
“Someone is coming.”
Mo Han frowned.
“Don’t use your ability. You’re still injured. I’m already watching the surroundings. There are many houses here; they won’t come to ours.”
Right after he said that—
Knock knock.
Mo Han’s face instantly turned dark. That was embarrassing.
Situ Yu looked at him with a teasing smile.
“What a coincidence.”
Mo Han glared at him angrily and went to check the door.
