Jiang Fanxing was stunned by the system’s task for quite a while before his turbulent emotions finally settled. He gritted his teeth and asked, “110, if the people of this world cannot solve this problem themselves, what can I, an outsider, possibly do?”

“Are you suggesting I give them my own reproductive capability?”

If he could truly do that, he would not even be human anymore; he would be a living deity. Besides, he was a gay man who had long since accepted that he would never have children. Whether it was donating to others or otherwise, he simply could not accept it.Full novel: Apocalyptic Charity Plan [Quick Transmigration] — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Jiang Fanxing threw his hands up in defeat. “This world has excellent medical standards, but I am not doing this mission. I will just live here for 300 years and be done with it.” He was genuinely considering it. This world had no bizarre rifts or extreme climate; everything was perfect except for the inability to reproduce.

110, sensing his lack of motivation and fearing he would abandon the mission, quickly provided a hint: “Host, your arrival is the only breakthrough this world has. You can lend your reproductive capability to them.”

Jiang Fanxing: “…”

I was just venting, and you actually took it seriously!

“Then tell me, how exactly am I supposed to lend my reproductive capability to them?” he asked dryly.

110 replied, “Host, you can exchange for reproductive biological structures and then transplant them into the people of this world.”

I have to admit, that is both bold and innovative. However, Jiang Fanxing began to doubt 110’s intelligence. “Are you really sure you are not the original Exchange System?” A system with such high initiative and intelligence did not seem like a mindless AI.

110 replied, “Host, 110 is indeed not the Exchange System. I am a semi-intelligent system currently undergoing an internship under the Exchange System.”

Jiang Fanxing was taken aback. “Systems have to do internships too?” So, even being a system did not spare one from the grind of an internship. Was 110 essentially the equivalent of a college student in the real world?

110 added, “Yes, host. If I can assist you in completing five rescue missions, I will be upgraded to a fully intelligent system.”

Never mind the assistance part; Jiang Fanxing just wanted to know where that scoundrel of an original system had gone. He asked resentfully, “And where is your mentor? Did it just abandon you to do the work?”

“Not at all. The Exchange System supervises countless interns; it is currently guiding other semi-intelligent systems.”

Jiang Fanxing spotted a potential loophole and pressed, “So that scoundrel of a system is mentoring you too? When will it come to see you?”

110 replied, “After you complete five missions.”

If the host succeeded and survived, 110 could evolve into an intelligent system and work independently. If not, both it and the host would be obliterated within the rift world. It did not share this detail with Jiang Fanxing.

Jiang Fanxing nodded and said, “As long as it comes to see you, that is fine. To ensure your successful upgrade, I will do my absolute best to finish these missions. When it comes, remind me.”

110’s incomplete emotional sector flickered, and it replied stiffly, “Understood, host. Thank you.”

It did not know that Jiang Fanxing had a mischievous glint in his eyes. He would build a good relationship with 110, and when the Exchange System finally showed up, he would definitely conspire with 110 to give it a piece of his mind.

Setting that aside for now, Jiang Fanxing said, “110, I want to upgrade the system.”

110 replied, “Understood. Upgrading your Biological Exchange System.”

“Ding! System upgrade complete. Current level: Four—Organ Level. Click to view items available for exchange. Note: Level four allows for the exchange of four categories of biological structures: organelles, cells, tissues, and organs. Exchange limit: 1.”

Jiang Fanxing opened the system page and typed the keywords “high reproductive capability” into the search bar. A series of animal images appeared, leaving him horrified: fruit flies, mice, flies, mosquitoes—it was traumatizing. If he had to replace his own reproductive organs with those of a fly or a mosquito, he would rather fail the mission. The fruit flies were a hard no, mice were barely acceptable, but disgusting insects like flies and mosquitoes should be extinct.

He scrolled down further and finally saw some acceptable options, such as rabbits, African tilapia, and ants. Ultimately, his gaze settled on a giant snail surrounded by a large cluster of eggs. He clicked on the snail to reveal various organs, tissues, cells, and organelles. He located the reproductive organs and opened the description:

“African Giant Snail:

Basic Function: Contains both female and male reproductive organs. A single mating session can produce at least 200 eggs with a 99% survival rate.

Advanced Function: Transplanting snail reproductive organs can enhance human reproductive capability, guaranteeing eight-fold births. No more worries about infertility.

Side Effect: As snails are hermaphroditic, their reproductive organs are uniquely structured. Anyone attempting this transplant must be passionate about reproduction and will experience heat cycles every three days.”

This time, Jiang Fanxing read the side effects carefully. His face turned red, then pale, and finally settled into a deep, dark shade of black. Even though these organs would be transplanted into someone else, the organs would first have to appear in his own body during the exchange process. As a man who had never even been in a relationship, the thought of an involuntary heat cycle made him shiver.

No, I cannot exchange them now. I must first find someone willing to undergo the surgery.

Jiang Fanxing thought of Will, the founder of Will Technology, and an idea formed. Guided by 110, he soon arrived outside the Will Technology building. He walked into the magnificent lobby and approached the front desk. The receptionist was a beautiful woman; unlike the lifeless people outside, she wore a polite, gentle smile.

“Good day, sir. How may I assist you?”

Will Technology was a massive corporation covering biology, medicine, and information technology. It was most famous for its array of biological serums. Jiang Fanxing noticed various displays in the lobby showcasing serums that, in his view, seemed nearly impossible to create—energy recovery serums, hair-growth serums, limb-regeneration serums, cancer-treatment serums, and more. Truly incredible, he marveled. If such serums existed in reality, countless people could be saved.

As he pondered the possibility of taking some back to reality, he said to the receptionist, “Hello, can you help me contact Will? I have a major breakthrough regarding reproductive difficulties that I must deliver to him personally.”

The receptionist’s floral smile faltered. She looked at this strangely dressed man in shock and said, “Understood. Please wait a moment; I will contact Mr. Will immediately.”

Jiang Fanxing had expected her to be skeptical, but the fact that she took him so seriously made him realize how desperate this world was. Even those who appeared sunny and cheerful were suffering from the sorrow of humanity’s impending extinction. No one was willing to give up on even the smallest glimmer of hope, even if the person providing it might be a prankster.

The receptionist called Will Dalís and relayed the message. Within three minutes, a handsome man in a lab coat rushed into the lobby. Without confirming with the receptionist, he locked eyes with the oddly dressed Jiang Fanxing.

Will bowed deeply, scaring Jiang Fanxing into backing away several steps. He could not handle such courtesy and was just glad he had not come here to play a prank. Although the man was young in appearance, the exhaustion and fading vitality in his eyes betrayed his true age. Because the man treated his words with such gravity, Jiang Fanxing felt he would be deeply ashamed if he let him down.

Will straightened up and looked at him deeply, his voice gentle and full of respect. “Good day, sir. Please follow me.”

Jiang Fanxing nodded. “Very well.”

The two entered the elevator in silence, watching the floor numbers climb until they reached the 25th floor.

“Ding.”

Will turned to Jiang Fanxing. “We are here, sir. Please, come in.”

As Jiang Fanxing stepped out, he saw dozens of staff members in white coats bustling about at laboratory benches. They seemed oblivious to his and Will’s presence, their focus entirely on their work. Will led him through the crowd into a private lab. Closing the door to ensure privacy, Will could no longer suppress his excitement. “Sir, can you tell me now? What is this major breakthrough you have discovered?”

Jiang Fanxing appreciated his caution. He took a deep breath. “Mr. Will, what I am about to say may seem unbelievable, but it is true. You may examine me however you like.”

As he spoke, he exchanged the snail organs, which cost him 100,000 exchange coins. He did not have time to regret the expense. Pointing to his abdomen, he said uncomfortably, “I have a set of hermaphroditic reproductive organs inside me. Anyone who possesses these organs can become pregnant, whether they have relations with the same sex or the opposite sex.” His face flushed, though Will could not see through his mask.

“There is a minor side effect: the owner of these organs will experience a heat cycle every three days and must have relations. Setting that aside, anyone who possesses these organs will certainly become pregnant during that period—with octuplets.”

This world’s medical standards were highly advanced; octuplets could easily be carried to term or even cultivated artificially. It was nothing like his own world, where octuplets usually necessitated selective reduction and embryos could not be cultivated outside the womb. Jiang Fanxing imagined the people of this world would be eager to have as many children as possible.

As expected, Will was stunned speechless, nearly losing his composure. “Is this true? This is wonderful! This is incredible!”

“This world is saved! Humanity is saved!”

“We do not have to go extinct!”

Jiang Fanxing watched Will laugh maniacally until he began to weep, feeling completely disconnected from the man’s joy. Seeing that Will had not calmed down, he had to prompt, “Mr. Will, would you like to examine the organs inside my body first?”

He wanted to find a willing couple for the transplant soon so he could be free. He really did not want to experience the terror of a heat cycle every three days!
