Passing through the heavy iron door was a narrow staircase leading downward.

The air was thick with the smell of gun oil and rusted metal. To ordinary people, it would be unpleasant—but to Lin Chu, it smelled like safety.

At the end of the stairs, the space suddenly opened up.Full novel: Apocalyptic Disasters: Emptying a Hundred-Billion Warehouse to Coast to Victory — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

It was a massive underground warehouse. The walls were lined with all kinds of weapons—pistols, rifles, rocket launchers—like a miniature military museum.

“Look around. Pick whatever you want.”

Old K sat arrogantly on a sofa and casually tossed a cigar to Lin Chu. “As long as you’ve got money, there’s nothing I can’t get you.”

Lin Chu didn’t take it. Her gaze swept across the black steel weapons on display, and her eyes gradually turned feverish.

“I want the best.”

She walked up to a display case and pointed at a black pistol.

“Glock 17. One of the most durable pistols in T-… this region. I want 100 of them, 500 magazines, and 20,000 rounds of 9mm ammunition.”

Old K raised a brow. “A hundred guns? Are you building a private army?”

Lin Chu ignored him and continued forward, her fingers gliding across a row of assault rifles.

“AK-47. No need to explain. Cheap, reliable—even if you throw it in mud, it’ll still fire. I want 50 of them, and 100,000 rounds of 7.62mm ammo.”

“And this.”

She stopped in front of a long black crate, her eyes lighting up.

Inside lay an exaggerated heavy sniper rifle with a long barrel and a chilling aura.

Barrett M82A1.

In the late apocalypse, when facing mutated beasts or enemies with “stone skin” or “iron body” abilities, ordinary rifles were useless. Only this anti-materiel sniper rifle could blow a target in half with one shot.

“This is expensive…” Old K began to negotiate.

“I’ll take two.” Lin Chu cut him off instantly. “And full armor-piercing incendiary rounds.”

Then her gaze landed on a massive object covered by a tarp in the corner.

She walked over and pulled it off.

In that instant, even Lin Chu—who had seen countless extremes—paused for a fraction of a second.

M134 Minigun.

A six-barrel rotary machine gun.

This wasn’t a weapon. It was a metal storm.

With a firing rate of 6,000 rounds per minute, it could turn a kilometer radius into a wasteland. A true fortress-defense ultimate weapon.

“This one too,” she said, her voice trembling slightly with excitement.

She also added ten crates of M67 grenades, plus tactical vests and combat knives.

Old K’s single eye flashed with greed as he watched her calmly list enough firepower to arm a platoon.

“Good. Straightforward!”

He clapped his hands, and his men quickly carried everything out, piling it into a small mountain.

“A total of 1.5 million USD,” Old K said, exhaling smoke. “Cash only.”

Lin Chu nodded and pushed the black suitcase forward.

“Here’s 1 million as deposit. The rest will be transferred.”

But Old K didn’t take it.

He exchanged a glance with his men.

Click.

Click.

Four or five gun barrels were raised simultaneously, all aimed at Lin Chu’s head.

The atmosphere instantly froze.

“Little girl, you don’t understand the rules here,” Old K said as he stood up, his face twisting into a cruel grin.

“In Freeport, women like you—alone, carrying cash—end up in only one way: stripped of everything.”

“This shipment, and your deposit, belong to me.”

“As for you…” his eyes roamed over her body lewdly, “you’ll stay here too. My brothers wouldn’t mind having some fun.”

Blackmail. Robbery. Betrayal.

In a lawless place, this was the only rule: the strong prey on the weak.

But Lin Chu didn’t panic.

Instead, she sighed softly.

“I knew it.”

She shook her head slightly. “Doing business with people like you… really can’t rely on honesty.”

“Still talking?” Jack shouted. “Boss, just tie her up!”

Lin Chu didn’t move.

She simply placed her hand on the massive minigun.

Then she looked at Old K.

Her gaze was calm—like she was looking at dead people.

“Do you believe in magic?”

“What?” Old K frowned.

The next second—

She tapped lightly.

Whoosh!

Everything disappeared.

The minigun. The ammunition crates. The rifles piled like a mountain.

All of it vanished into thin air.

Not a trace left behind.

The entire open space became completely empty.

“FUCK!!!”

Old K dropped his cigar. His eyes nearly popped out. “Where are the guns?! Where’s my inventory?!”

The armed men staggered backward in terror.

“You… you’re human or a ghost?!”

Lin Chu stepped forward slowly.

With every step, they retreated.

Fear of the unknown was far greater than fear of guns.

This woman… was a monster. A witch.

“I don’t like being pointed at,” she said softly.

She stopped in front of Old K and gently tapped his forehead.

“I can make those guns disappear…”

“…and I can make your brain disappear too.”

“Want to try?”

Thud.

Old K collapsed to his knees.

He had lived his whole life on the edge of a blade—but he had never seen anything like this.

“No… no!! Don’t kill me!! You’re a witch!! A demon!! I was wrong!!”

“T-take the goods! Take everything! Please don’t make me disappear!”

“I don’t need money.”

Lin Chu coldly tossed the cash case onto his face.

“Keep the money. I take the goods.”

“And one more thing…”

She glanced at the trembling gang members. “Throw in all the guns you’re holding. Consider it compensation for my mental damage.”

Clatter—

No one dared hesitate.

They immediately threw their weapons onto the ground.

Lin Chu waved her hand.

Whoosh!

All the weapons vanished again.

This final “miracle” shattered their last shred of courage.

Minutes later.

Lin Chu walked out of the underground boxing gym in high heels.

Behind her, a group of hardened criminals knelt trembling, as if they had just witnessed a demon descending into the human world.

She glanced at the neatly stacked arsenal in her space and exhaled slowly.

“My firepower anxiety… finally cured.”

“Next…”

She looked toward the brightly lit port in the distance.

“That’s the feast prepared for capitalists.”

“The zero-dollar shopping spree… begins.”
