Su Yun’s gaze fell coldly on the bowl of porridge—she sneered to herself.

"Just put it here. I’ll drink it after the baby finishes feeding."

"It’ll get cold if you wait. Drink it now. The baby was just born; it doesn’t need to drink that much milk."

’If that little beast drinks it all, what will my precious grandson have left to drink?’

"I’ll drink it later," Su Yun insisted. "Otherwise, you can take it away. I’m not drinking it."

Su’s mother glared at her. "Fine, fine, have it your way! So much for trying to be nice to you."

She left, muttering and grumbling.

The moment her mother left, Su Yun intended to dump out the porridge. She never expected that as soon as the thought formed, the bowl and its contents completely vanished from her hands.

She stared at her empty hands, stunned.

’Where did the porridge go?’

The moment she thought it, the bowl of porridge reappeared in her hands—and Su Yun’s eyes widened in shock.

A sudden thought struck her. She immediately focused her mind—and just as she suspected, a space appeared in her consciousness. In the very center of it was a small pool.

With a mere thought, her consciousness moved. She walked over and took a few sips of the water, and instantly felt incredibly invigorated.

Even the pain from childbirth seemed to have eased considerably.

’A Spiritual Spring?’

’But now isn’t the time to investigate.’

’I have to get out of here immediately.’

She quickly got dressed.

Then, she focused on the important things she had hidden under her pillow. With a thought—’Store!’—a miracle happened. Everything disappeared.

’This makes things much easier.’

Su Yun got out of bed and bolted the door. Only then did she readjust the swaddling on her baby.

Then, wherever her gaze landed, she silently repeated the command—’Store.’ Everything in the room, except for the bed, was instantly absorbed into the space.

’This space is incredibly convenient.’

’Too bad there was so little in the room to begin with.’

Without a moment’s hesitation, she carefully opened the window and, fighting through the discomfort, climbed out.

Meanwhile, Su’s mother had returned to the kitchen. When she figured enough time had passed for the drug to take effect...

She came back again.

She reached out to push the door—but it didn’t open.

Fury surged through her. "Su Yun, why did you lock the door?"

But it was dead silent inside. There was no reply, not even the sound of a baby crying.

"Su Yun, open the door!"

It remained quiet inside, causing Su’s mother’s anger to skyrocket.

She pounded on the door. "You damn girl, open this door for me—"

Hearing the commotion, Mr. Su came running out of his room.

"What’s happening? What is it?"

"That damn girl locked the door and is playing dead inside!" Su’s mother, seething with rage, slammed her fists against the door.

"Stop banging on the door," Mr. Su reminded her. "Didn’t you just give her the porridge? The porridge—"

Su’s mother had been so frantic she’d forgotten about that.

But she was still furious. "That damned little bitch, she actually locked the door."

’How are we supposed to get in?’

"I’ll get something to open it." Dealing with a simple bolt was easy enough.

Mr. Su returned with a thin piece of bamboo and slowly worked it through the crack in the door. In just a moment, the bolt on the other side slid open.

Su’s mother immediately shoved the door open and stormed in.

Her furious gaze swept the room, and she froze, dumbfounded.

’How is the bed the only thing left in here?’

’Where did everything else go?’

Seeing her standing there dumbly, Mr. Su gave her a push.

"What are you just standing there for? Hurry up and make the switch! It’ll be a problem if she wakes up."

He was, of course, in on the plan to swap the babies.

Su’s mother shrieked in shock and rage, "Ah, the little bitch is gone—"

Hearing this, Mr. Su immediately shoved her aside.

And then he too was dumbfounded. ’How could the room have been picked so clean?’
