[* 3rd Person POV *] The sun had already begun to soften into late afternoon gold when Cain stopped in front of the familiar gate.

He carried a modest bouquet of soft purple and white flowers Hinata’s favorites, the ones she always paused to look at whenever they passed the small florist near the market.

The appearance booster from the morning had settled into something natural, clearer skin, brighter eyes, a quiet vitality that made the Hokage look less like a man buried under endless duty and more like the man she had fallen in love with years ago.Full novel: As Naruto Uzumaki With An R-18 System — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

He knocked once.

Inside the house, Hinata wiped her hands on a cloth and glanced toward the door.

Probably a delivery, she thought.

Naruto almost never came home this early, and when he did he usually sent a shadow clone ahead or simply walked in.

A knock usually meant packages or a message from the tower.

She opened the door.

And froze.

Naruto stood there in his cloak, the bouquet held loosely in one hand, the late light catching in his hair.

For a moment she could not speak.

He looked… brighter.

Healthier.

The faint perpetual tiredness that usually sat at the corners of his eyes had eased, and the way he looked at her made her heart stumble hard against her ribs.

He’s here.

He’s actually here.

And he brought… those flowers.

Her favorite ones.

The exact ones she always lingered over but never bought for herself because it felt too self-indulgent.

He had remembered.

In the middle of everything the Hokage carried every single day, he had remembered something so small.

“N-Naruto-kun…?” He smiled the real one, the soft one he rarely wore in public anymore.

“I missed my wife” He said simply.

“I thought maybe she’d let me steal her for the evening.” The words landed like an arrow straight through the center of her chest.

Hinata’s face bloomed with color so quickly she felt dizzy.

Her fingers tightened on the edge of the door.

I missed my wife.

He said it like it was the most natural thing in the world.

Like coming home early and bringing flowers and looking at me like that was something he had planned… for me.

The flowers.

The unexpected visit.

The quiet, open way he had called her his wife.

It was too much all at once.

Her heart was beating so hard she was certain he could hear it.

“I… I’ll get ready” She managed, voice barely above a whisper, and then she turned and almost fled back into the house, heart racing so hard she could hear it in her ears.

Cain watched her go, the System quietly confirming what he already knew.

[Hinata Hyūga (Uzumaki)] Loyalty: 100 Love: 100 He stepped inside and waited.

In the bedroom Hinata stood frozen for several seconds, bouquet still clutched in her hands though she didn’t remember taking it from him.

Her reflection in the mirror looked flushed and wide-eyed.

He remembered the flowers.

He left the tower early.

He looked at me like… like I was the only thing that mattered today.

She moved quickly after that, almost trembling.

The soft lavender dress she had worn only once before because he had once said the color suited her slipped over her head.

She left her hair loose the way she knew he liked it.

Every small choice felt deliberate now, as if she were answering the care he had already shown her.

When she reappeared a short while later, she still looked flustered, cheeks pink, but her eyes shone with a quiet, almost disbelieving happiness.

Cain offered his hand.

Hinata stared at it for a second he almost never held her hand in public then slipped her fingers into his.

The simple contact made her breath catch.

He’s holding my hand.

In the street.

Where anyone can see.

He never does this… but he’s doing it now.

For me.

As they stepped out onto the street he shifted his hold, sliding his arm around her waist instead, palm resting against the gentle curve of her side.

The warmth of his hand seemed to find some secret place low in her stomach, a slow, deep heat began to gather there, unexpected and strong.

They walked.

Civilians smiled as they passed.

A pair of older women near the market whispered behind their hands and openly sighed at the sight of the Hokage walking with his arm around his wife.

A young couple smiled at them.

Someone even called out a soft “You two look lovely together,” and Hinata’s blush deepened until she had to look down at the pavement, though she made no attempt to step away from his side.

They’re looking at us.

They’re smiling because of us.

Because he’s holding me like this… like he’s proud to.

Every few steps Cain’s thumb stroked lightly against her waist.

Each small movement sent another ripple of warmth through her.

The heat between her legs had grown impossible to ignore.

Her body had reacted to his nearness, to his public claim, with a depth of want that surprised even her.

It felt as though something inside her had loosened and opened the moment he put his arm around her, and now every gentle press of his hand only made the ache deeper.

He remembered the restaurant too, she realized when the quiet place with the private garden seating came into view.

She had mentioned it only once, months ago, in passing.

She had never expected him to keep it in his mind.

He listens.

Even when I think he isn’t.

Even when the village takes everything from him… he still keeps pieces of me.

By the time they reached the entrance Hinata felt almost light-headed.

The emotional weight of every small kindness had stacked on top of the physical reaction until she felt mesmerized, floating, completely claimed by the simple fact that he had chosen her tonight.

Not the Hokage’s schedule.

Not the next emergency.

Her.

She glanced up at him as they stopped.

The soft evening light caught the new clarity in his face, the quiet energy that seemed to radiate from him.

Her heart squeezed again, full and aching and completely his.

Cain looked down at her, still holding her close, and smiled.

“Ready?” he asked.

Hinata nodded, unable to find words for a moment.

When she finally spoke, her voice was soft and full of something that felt very much like bliss.

“…Yes.

I’m ready.” He guided her inside with his hand still resting warmly against her waist, the city continuing its gentle evening around them, and for the first time in a long while Hinata felt like the only person in the world who mattered to him.

And somewhere deep in her chest, beneath the racing heart and the growing heat in her body, a quiet thought took root and refused to leave: I love him even more than I did this morning.

I didn’t think that was possible.

But I do.

Otherwise my updates will still remain consistent so there won’t be any issue if you don’t purchase it either!
