The restaurant was quiet, the kind of intimate place with soft lighting and a small garden visible through the open side windows.
Hinata had ordered the dish she always loved miso soup with soft tofu and grilled fish while Naruto had simply eaten what she chose for him without comment.
They talked for hours.
About nothing and everything.
About the village’s quiet progress, about how much she missed the quiet evenings before the Hokage’s duties swallowed everything.
About the flowers he had brought.
About how she had smiled when she opened the door and how her eyes had looked at him like he was the only thing that existed in the world.
It was sweet.
So sweet it felt like something she had only ever read about in old romance novels.
Every few minutes Naruto reached across the table and brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, or let his fingers linger on the back of her hand.
Once, when she laughed at something he said, he leaned in and pressed the lightest kiss to her temple.
She shivered, a tiny, helpless sound escaping her.
He’s touching me like I’m precious.
Like I’m the only woman in the world who deserves to be touched.
The touches stayed light at first fingers tracing her wrist, palm resting against her waist as they walked, thumb stroking the inside of her hand when they held it again.
But by the time dessert arrived, they had grown bolder.
His hand slid higher on her thigh under the table, thumb brushing the sensitive skin just beneath the hem of her dress.
Hinata’s breath hitched.
The heat that had been building since the public hand-holding flared into something sharper.
It feels… good.
Too good.
Like something inside me is waking up.
She shifted in her seat, crossing her legs tightly, cheeks burning.
The thought came unbidden and terrifying: I want another child.
Right now.
I want to feel him inside me again, the way it was before the village took him away for years.
Her womb clenched at the idea, an instinctive, deep pull that made her face flame hotter.
She pressed her thighs together under the table and shot him a shy, guilty look.
He noticed.
Of course he noticed.
His smile turned a little darker, a little hungrier, but he didn’t push.
He just kept touching her slow circles on her thigh, fingers slipping just beneath the edge of her skirt when no one was looking.
The night was pure bliss.
They walked back through the quiet streets, his arm around her waist the whole time.
Civilians still smiled at them, but now Hinata didn’t care.
She leaned into him, letting the heat of his body chase away the last of the day’s stress.
Every small kindness, every remembered detail, every gentle touch only deepened the pull inside her.
He chose me tonight.
Over everything.
I’m going to be a mother again.
For him.
I need him.
I need him so much it hurts.
By the time they reached the gate to their house, her body was singing.
Her nipples were tight against the thin fabric of her dress.
The ache between her legs was constant and insistent.
She had never wanted him this badly.
Halfway down the narrow alley behind the restaurant away from the main street, shadowed and private he paused.
Hinata’s hand shot out without thinking.
She grabbed the front of his cloak and yanked him against the wall.
The kiss was sudden, fierce, nothing like the soft touches of the evening.
It was hungry.
Desperate.
Her tongue slid against his, tasting him, claiming him back while her hips rocked forward against his thigh.
“Send your clones home” She whispered against his mouth, voice shaking with need.
“Take care of the kids… send them back.
We can go to a hotel.
Now.
Please.” Naruto’s breath caught.
His hands immediately found her waist, lifting her slightly as he pushed back against the wall to give them room.
A low, excited sound left him.
“Already?” He asked, voice rough with delight.
“You’re serious?” “I’ve never been more serious in my life” She answered, kissing him again, harder, grinding against his thigh.
“I want… I want another one.
Right now.
Send them back.” He didn’t hesitate.
One hand stayed on her body, supporting her as she clung to him, while the other formed a small seal.
A dozen shadow clones appeared instantly, all of them perfect replicas of the man holding her, smiling down at the scene with quiet amusement.
“Take care of the kids” He told them.
“We’re not coming back tonight.” The clones nodded in perfect sync and vanished.
Naruto lifted her completely into his arms like she weighed nothing princess style, her legs wrapping around his waist as he stepped away from the wall and out of the alley.
Hinata buried her face in his neck, kissing him the whole way, already wet and aching and completely lost in the feeling of being wanted so desperately.
The best hotel in the village was only a short walk away.
He carried her the entire distance, occasionally kissing her deeply, whispering how beautiful she looked and how much he loved her.
And Hinata held on tighter, heart soaring, womb pulsing with the need he had just awakened, already dreaming of the night to come.
