The Orc Shaman Chief ran across the battlefield at an incredible speed.
Unlike the ordinary Orcs, it easily jumped over the first few pits.
Ryan wasn’t surprised.
"Just as I expected."
The Orc Shaman Chief wasn’t only stronger than the others, it was also much more agile.
It crossed the first line of traps without any trouble.
Soon, it reached the area where Ryan had placed the largest Ogre balloon.
The Shaman Chief let out a furious roar and charged straight toward it.
Ryan smiled.
"Now."
The ground beneath the Shaman Chief suddenly gave way.
Crack!
The thin layer of branches and grass collapsed.
The giant Orc fell into the eleventh pit.
Boom!!
A much louder explosion echoed across the forest.
Unlike the previous pits, this one contained nearly all of Ryan’s remaining Magic Mine Scrolls.
One explosion triggered another.
The entire pit became a sea of fire.
The blast shook the surrounding trees.
Rocks and dirt flew into the air.
Ryan covered his face with his arm as the shockwave reached him.
A few seconds later, the explosions stopped.
Smoke slowly rose from the pit.
Ryan kept watching.
He didn’t rush over.
An enemy at Level 60 wouldn’t die that easily.
A few moments later, a large hand grabbed the edge of the pit.
The Orc Shaman Chief slowly pulled itself up.
Its robes had been burned away.
Its body was covered in wounds, and one of its arms was hanging limply.
Even its staff had broken in half.
Ryan nodded.
"It survived."
"That’s expected."
The Shaman Chief looked around with bloodshot eyes.
Its breathing was heavy.
It had clearly suffered serious injuries.

Behind it, more explosions echoed across the battlefield.
Out of the hundreds of Orcs that had rushed out of the village, only three were still alive after passing through Ryan’s minefield.
The giant pits, wooden spikes, and Magic Mine Scrolls had wiped out almost the entire village.
Including the Orc Shaman Chief, only four Orcs remained.
Even they were covered in wounds and barely able to stand.
Seeing this, Ryan nodded in satisfaction.
He reached into his inventory and took out a few more Magic Scrolls.
Without any hesitation, he poured his mana into them and aimed at the four surviving Orcs.
Large magic circles appeared in front of him.
The next moment, several spells shot out at incredible speed.
All of them were Tier 2 Magic.
Against heavily injured Tier 0 Orcs, even the Orc Shaman Chief stood no chance.
The barrage of magic instantly engulfed the four surviving orcs.
In an instant, three Orc Warriors were killed, leaving only the Orc Shaman Chief alive. Even he was pinned to the ground by a massive ice spike that had pierced straight through his body.
Ryan stepped forward, gripping his shovel tightly. The Orc Shaman Chief looked at him with fear in its eyes, but it was already too late.
Ryan drove the shovel directly into the chief’s neck, severing its head in a single strike while activating Perfect Loot talent.
The massive orc’s body went limp.

Ryan couldn’t hide his excitement as he felt his stats skyrocket from the Orc Shaman Chief’s loot.
"Damn. If not for the cooldown and the one-time use restriction, I could have obtained stats from more than a hundred orcs."
He shook his head with a smile before looking over the rest of the loot. The bonus stats had already merged with his own, and he could clearly feel the increase in his strength.
Ryan’s attention soon shifted to the remaining rewards.
The first thing he checked was the Shaman Class.
It was in the form of an card and crushing the card he can obtain this class that will replace his current class.
Or he can wait until he is Tier 1 when the sub class slot opens and he then acquires this B rank class as his second class.
" For now let’s just save it" humbled placing the card in his inventory.
Ryan then looked at his newly acquired talent.
Totem Creation allowed him to craft magical totems using different materials. Depending on the design and the materials used, each totem could provide different effects. Some increased attack power, some restored mana, while others could weaken enemies or summon spirit guardians to defend an area.
Next, he inspected his new skill.
Dark Empowerment temporarily infused his body with dark energy, greatly increasing his Strength, Agility, and Intelligence while also enhancing the power of dark-element skills. However, the skill continuously consumed mana while it remained active.
After that, Ryan examined the rest of the rewards.
The Orc Shaman Set consisted of a robe, gloves, boots, belt, necklace, and a carved bone staff. Although it was designed for shamans, the equipment possessed high Intelligence and Spirit attributes, making it valuable even if he decided not to use it.
He also inspected the Orc Shaman Chief’s Soul.
"Whoa... it can be used as a summon? Doesn’t that mean every boss I kill can come back as my summon? Fuck yes! I knew this talent was overpowered as hell."
Ryan smiled as he crushed the soul card in his hand.
A blue light burst out before gathering in front of him.
