The next moment, the massive Orc Shaman Chief appeared once again. He looked exactly as he had before his death, except his body was now translucent, formed entirely from glowing blue spiritual energy. He still wore his tribal robes and held his large wooden staff.
As soon as he appeared, the Orc Shaman Chief dropped to one knee.
"Master," he said respectfully.
Ryan nodded before inspecting his status.
The summon had been reset to Level 1, causing all of its stats to drop significantly.
"That’s a little disappointing," Ryan muttered. "Still, at least it can level up and grow stronger again."
He then looked at the Orc Shaman Chief.
"But where are you going to stay? Are you just going to follow me everywhere?"
The Orc Shaman Chief raised his staff without saying a word.
His body dissolved into countless blue particles before flying toward Ryan.
The light settled onto the ring finger of Ryan’s left hand, forming a small tattoo shaped like a carved wooden staff.
Ryan blinked in surprise before smiling.
"Oh, that’s actually pretty cool."
With his new summon safely stored, Ryan shifted his attention to the remaining rewards.
The hundred kilograms of Orc Shaman meat and bones were automatically stored inside his inventory. The meat could be cooked to provide temporary stat bonuses, while the bones looked suitable for crafting weapons, armor, or totems.
After checking everything, Ryan closed the notifications and looked around the battlefield.
The camp had finally become silent.
The bodies of the orcs were scattered across the ground, and there were no signs of any surviving enemies.
Ryan then began going through every orc corpse to see if they had dropped any loot. Since more than a hundred orcs had died in the battle, there was a good chance that at least some of them had left behind valuable items.
As he searched the battlefield, glowing drops began appearing one after another.
Most of the loot consisted of monster materials such as orc meat, bones, tusks, hides, monster cores, and a few bags of coins.
However, there were also several pieces of equipment and skill books.
Ryan quickly gathered everything into a pile before checking the better-quality items.
The first thing he found was a stack of skill books.
[Skill Book: Heavy Slash] - Uncommon Rank
A basic warrior skill that delivered a powerful downward slash, increasing damage based on the user’s Strength.
[Skill Book: Minor Regeneration] - Uncommon Rank
A passive skill that slowly restored Health while outside of combat.
[Skill Book: Stone Skin] - Rare Rank
A defensive skill that hardened the user’s skin with earth mana, greatly increasing Defense for a short period.
Ryan nodded in satisfaction.
"Not bad. These should sell for a decent amount even if I don’t use them."
He then moved on to the equipment.
[Orc Warrior Greatsword] - Uncommon Rank
A heavy two-handed sword with increased Strength.
[Iron Orc Shield] - Uncommon Rank
A sturdy shield that increased Defense and Vitality.
[Swift Hunter Boots] - Rare Rank
Boots enchanted with wind magic that increased movement speed and Agility.
[Spirit Guard Bracelet] - Rare Rank
A bracelet that increased Intelligence and Mana while slightly improving resistance to mental attacks.
[Earth Guardian Breastplate] - Rare Rank
A durable chest armor that greatly increased Defense and Constitution.
Ryan stored all of the equipment and skill books inside his inventory.
Although none of them were useful to him at the moment, they would fetch a good price in the city or could be used later if he needed them.
After collecting the last piece of loot, Ryan looked around the battlefield one final time to make sure nothing had been missed.
Seeing that the entire orc camp had been cleared, he left the area and walked deeper into the dungeon.
About fifteen minutes later, he found a small cave hidden behind a large group of rocks. After checking the surroundings with Spirit Sense and confirming that there were no monsters nearby, he entered the cave.
Ryan blocked the entrance with a few large stones, leaving only enough space for fresh air to enter. He then sat down against the cave wall.
"Now then, let’s see how much I’ve grown."
Ryan opened his status screen.

"Damn... not only can I obtain their skills, but I also receive their skill proficiency at the same time. Isn’t that completely broken?"
Ryan muttered as he looked at the skill levels. Instead of starting at Level 1, most of the skills had already reached high proficiency because they had been copied directly from the Orc Shaman Chief.
He quickly opened the description of each skill.

"Every single one of these skills is useful."

Ryan closed the skill window with a satisfied smile on his face.
