The baby zombie inside the space suddenly began crying. Its cries went straight into Yan Qing’s mind, causing her to immediately stop what she was doing and send her consciousness into the space.

Looking at the baby zombie lying face down in the crib, sucking on its own finger while crying, she suddenly remembered that it was probably hungry and needed milk powder.

She took out the milk powder, bottle, and warm water that the baby zombie had used before. After mixing the formula, she brought it out of the space together with the baby zombie, then laid a small blanket on the ground.Full novel: Back to 100 Days Before the Apocalypse: I Sold My Possessions and Frantically Stockpiled Supplies — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The moment the bottle was stuffed into its mouth, the baby zombie’s crying immediately stopped.

It lay on the small blanket, drinking milk attentively. Its gaze wandered around, sometimes looking at the night sky, and every now and then glancing at Yan Qing standing in front of it and Da Huang beside her, who was pinching his nose in disgust.

Looking at the baby zombie, Yan Qing felt that its zombie smell seemed less intense than when she had first met it.

How strange.

And it also seemed like it had never relieved itself or anything. She had no idea where all the milk powder it drank ended up.

After finishing its milk, the baby zombie fell asleep again.

Yan Qing looked at the baby zombie’s chest rising and falling continuously as though it were breathing.

She stretched out a finger under its nose to check for breath.

“No breathing?”

“Then why is its chest moving up and down?”

“Forget it, toss it back into the space.”

After putting both the baby zombie and the blanket back into the space, Da Huang finally lowered the paw that had been covering his nose, making Yan Qing laugh helplessly.

She picked up the specially modified dog carrier and gestured for Da Huang to get in. After adjusting his posture to make sure he would not feel uncomfortable while riding, she strapped him onto her back and got onto the motorcycle.

Since she was in a hurry to head toward her next destination, she could only ride a motorcycle because it was fast and easy to maneuver. Driving a Mini or RV was inconvenient and too eye catching.

Along the way, she encountered many vehicles all heading toward Qingjiang Village.

She had no idea if they had heard the news that the zombies there had already been wiped out.

After all, this was only a remote and ordinary village. Before the zombie outbreak, almost nobody ever came here, and even the roads were still gravel paths.

Not long after riding onto the national highway, Yan Qing’s stomach started growling.

However, there was no cover in sight nearby.

Even though it was nighttime, this kind of place was not suitable for staying.

She needed to find somewhere concealed.

Following a country path for about half an hour, she finally found an old and dilapidated thatched hut.

Viewed from afar, the hut looked quite eerie. There were also several sparse trees standing in front of it that could serve as cover, making Yan Qing very satisfied with the location.

She parked the motorcycle by the roadside, got off, and casually stored it back into her space.

Then she pushed aside the reeds growing up to her waist and headed toward the hut.

As she opened the worn out wooden door, it creaked loudly with “creak, creak” sounds, giving off the feeling of a horror movie scene.

She looked inside.

Other than the roof riddled with holes, there was nothing inside at all.

As expected, the floor was covered with a thick layer of dust.

Yan Qing directly took out a portable table and chair set from her space and removed Da Huang from her back.

She then took out a yellow dog bowl with white decorations that matched his fur color, along with a water bowl.

After filling the water bowl, she piled the dog bowl with rice and clear stewed beef, then put on gloves and mixed it thoroughly by hand.

Da Huang, who had been drinking water nearby, suddenly smelled the fragrance of meat.

Turning toward the dog bowl, his eyes immediately widened.

Drool dripped from his open mouth straight into the water basin.

When had he ever gotten to eat something this good before?

He immediately forgot about drinking water and jumped right in front of the bowl, opening his mouth and devouring the food.

Sitting in her chair, Yan Qing looked through the food inside her space and took out an iced milk tea and a large pile of grilled skewers.

The red and green vegetable skewers mixed with meat skewers looked especially tempting.

Now the air was filled not only with the scent of Da Huang’s beef rice, but also with the aroma of grilled meat and vegetables Yan Qing had just taken out.

Chili powder, cumin, and other seasonings blended with the fat dripping from the grilled meat skewers, and the fragrance floated through the air.

Yan Qing swallowed twice.

She directly put the iced milk tea back into the space and instead took out two cans of chilled beer.

One bite of barbecue, one sip of beer.

All she lacked now was a TV drama!

Thinking of that, she immediately took out an ultra high tablet stand and the tablet she had already prepared beforehand. Randomly opening a movie, she continued eating her skewers.

After finishing, Yan Qing walked out of the thatched hut and looked around in every direction.

Tonight should be safe.

She walked behind the hut and took out the RV, calling Da Huang to get in with her.

First, she dragged Da Huang into the bathroom and gave him a bath, washing him until he trembled all over.

Then she dried him off with a towel.

Originally she wanted to blow dry his fur as well, but Da Huang stubbornly refused, so she simply let him be.

She took out a dog bed and tossed it onto the RV’s passenger seat, letting Da Huang sleep there tonight.

After washing up, Yan Qing took several baby bottles and milk powder from her space.

After preparing them, she directly placed them back into the space for later use.

If the baby zombie got hungry while she was busy or inconveniently occupied, it could directly drink the prepared formula from the space.

Otherwise, if it started crying loudly in her head when hungry, that definitely was not a solution.

She took out a notebook and pen, opened to the page containing her revenge list, and crossed out Liang Hong’s name.

She stared at the next name she needed to settle accounts with for a long time before finally closing the notebook.

After doing all this, Yan Qing lay down on the bed and quickly fell into a deep sleep.

Early in the morning, while the sky was still dim, Da Huang had already woken up and was curiously looking around the RV, inspecting everything with fascination.

The vibration of a phone notification caused Yan Qing to pull off the sleep mask covering her face.

She reached under her pillow, pulled out her phone, and turned it on.

“Heshui City: Divine Maiden Appears in Qingjiang Village and Eliminates Zombies!”

Yan Qing rolled her eyes and tossed the phone aside.

Just as she was about to put her sleep mask back on, she could not resist picking up the phone again and opening the article.

Inside were one or two blurry photographs.

One could vaguely make out the silhouette of a woman holding a weapon fighting against a zombie.

There were also many zombies surrounding the woman, while numerous headless zombie corpses already lay scattered on the ground.

The person who posted it explained that Qingjiang Village originally had over five hundred villagers, with more than two hundred away from the village, leaving only over three hundred people inside.

But in the end, only around twenty people survived.

The reason so few survived was because among the zombies, one had been especially different.

Its hands could transform into all kinds of weapons, knives, hooks, short blades, which it used to kill people before devouring them.

Furthermore, its body was impervious to blades and bullets.

It had killed many of the surviving villagers.

It could also control the village zombies to some extent and direct them to attack villagers while it hid among the zombie horde and launched surprise attacks whenever it wanted.

The people hiding in other houses had all either been eaten or transformed into zombies.

The only survivors were those who had hidden inside the village’s manure storage house and escaped disaster.

The surviving villagers hiding there heard noises outside.

Peeking through the crack in the door, they witnessed the Divine Maiden fighting that unique zombie and used their phones to record the scene.

In the end, the Divine Maiden slaughtered every zombie in the village.

When they wanted to invite her and thank her, she had vanished in the blink of an eye.
