Netizen 4: Can somebody save us?! Why hasn’t anyone come to save us yet?!

…

“Woof!”

Da Huang sat upright beside Yan Qing’s bed, his tail wagging happily.

Yan Qing set down her phone and beckoned him over.

The big yellow dog obediently walked forward, allowing Yan Qing to pat his head. She sat up, placed her phone aside, and looked seriously into Da Huang’s eyes.

“The apocalypse has already begun. You and I both have to survive in this apocalypse. From now on, your proper name is Yan Ping’an, and your nickname is Da An!”

“Woof! Woof!”

Da An barked twice in satisfaction to show his approval. Then his previously relaxed ears suddenly stood upright.

Yan Qing looked at Da An, who had suddenly become alert, and her hand stopped moving as well.

She watched him walk to the RV door and press his ears against it.

She immediately got out of bed and quickly put everything on before walking over to the RV door too. She opened the peephole and took a look outside.

Her eyes instantly widened.

All she saw was the road they had taken the previous night, now completely packed with all kinds of cars, electric bikes, and motorcycles. Behind the vehicles were people running desperately, and behind them followed a massive zombie horde.

Densely packed.

Stretching endlessly into the distance.

Seeing that those vehicles were about to reach the thatched hut, Yan Qing had no extra time to store the RV and switch to her motorcycle.

She hurriedly sat in the driver’s seat, inserted the key, and while they were still some distance away, directly drove the RV down another road.

The vehicles behind saw the RV suddenly appear and head down another route, so they all followed after Yan Qing’s RV.

Yan Qing looked at the cars following her through the rearview mirror and felt a headache coming on.

She had originally planned to find a place to put away the RV and switch to her motorcycle.

But under the current circumstances, she had no time to think and could only continue driving.

After turning a corner, she suddenly slammed on the brakes.

“Woof! Woof!”

Da An was thrown against the back of the driver’s seat before tumbling onto the floor.

Several stars instantly seemed to appear above his dog head.

The whole dog felt dizzy and disoriented.

He had just been about to bark a few complaints when he looked forward and froze.

Ahead of them was another endless sea of densely packed zombies walking in their direction.

Beep beep!

Beep beep!

The vehicles behind Yan Qing continuously honked at her, signaling for her to hurry up and move.

From their angle, they could not see the zombie horde ahead at all.

The endless honking behind her made irritation rise in Yan Qing’s heart.

She could only drive the RV forward a little more.

Only after the vehicles behind her turned the corner did they gradually see the dense zombie horde ahead.

Taking advantage of the moment, Yan Qing quickly armed herself inside the RV.

She took out her Tang blade and a loudspeaker.

She also pulled out a backpack and a specially prepared iron rod from her space, stuffing the iron rod into the backpack before bringing Da An and stepping out of the vehicle.

The moment she opened the door, several off road vehicles shot past before her eyes.

Yan Qing reached out but was too late to stop them.

She knew what they were trying to do.

They wanted to force their way through using the size and height of their vehicles.

The moment the drivers accelerated and charged directly into the zombie crowd, they became stuck.

Countless zombies immediately swarmed over.

Now they could neither advance nor retreat and could only watch helplessly as one zombie after another climbed onto their vehicles.

The off road vehicles buried beneath the zombie horde echoed with terrified screams.

Smelling the scent of human flesh inside the cars, the zombies rushed toward them frantically.

The sound of shattering windshields rang out.

The terrified screams inside the vehicles gradually turned into desperate cries for help.

Several vehicles behind them had originally intended to follow after the off road vehicles.

Upon seeing the scene, they immediately slammed on their brakes, producing long screeching sounds across the road.

As the wails coming from the trapped vehicles grew weaker and weaker until no sounds remained at all…

Everyone trembled all over.

It felt as though they had already seen their own ending becoming just like those people in the off road vehicles.

“What do we do?! What do we do?!”

“Are we really going to die here?!”

“Mom, I don’t want to die, sob…”

“I don’t want to die! I don’t want to die! I’m only twenty! I don’t want to die!!”

…

Yan Qing shut the RV door, turned on her loudspeaker, and walked while shouting into it.

“Everyone! Listen to me! If you have weapons, grab them! We all need to work together and kill the zombies!”

The crowd instantly fell silent.

Everyone got out of their vehicles and looked at Yan Qing.

No one spoke.

None of them wanted to die.

If someone could lead them out alive right now, then even a sliver of hope was worth believing in.

Everyone’s eyes focused on Yan Qing simultaneously.

At that moment, she became the center of attention.

“Everyone, pick up your weapons and fight a path to survival with me! For yourselves! For your families!”

“And why should we listen to you?”

A balding, slightly chubby middle aged man wearing glasses stepped out.

He held the hand of a little girl beside him with his left hand, likely his daughter.

He looked disdainfully at Yan Qing holding the loudspeaker, using his drooping triangular eyes to size her up.

Yan Qing lowered the hand holding the loudspeaker and stared at him sharply.

The fleshy face of the bald man twitched from fright under her gaze, but he coughed twice and pretended to remain calm.

“Exactly. Why should we listen to you?”

“You little girl aren’t you trying to send us out to die first?”

Unexpectedly, several people actually echoed the bald man’s words.

There were men and women among them.

The only thing they had in common was that they were around the same age.

“Hey, girl, what are you plotting here? Let me tell you, you want me to kill zombies? Heh, dream on!”

Yan Qing suppressed the urge to slash someone and looked toward the sharp tongued woman who had spoken.

The woman was currently looking Yan Qing up and down with disgust, as though Yan Qing were something revolting.

“I’ve read your face, and I see a bloody disaster in your immediate future.”

Yan Qing rolled her eyes and tossed out those words.

At this life and death moment, she could not be bothered arguing with them any further.

The sharp tongued woman was so angry that she stomped in place.

Although those few people looked down on Yan Qing, most still understood that what she said was correct.

They knew clearly that if they wanted to survive, everyone had to work together and kill zombies.

Yan Qing looked around at everyone’s expressions and raised the loudspeaker in her hand.

“If you don’t trust me, think of your own way to survive. If you trust me, come stand over here!”

There were around two hundred people in the group.

About two hundred of them chose to stand beside Yan Qing.

Most of them had family members and children with them.

As for the rest, they still hesitated over whether to trust Yan Qing.

Yan Qing did not care.

She held the loudspeaker in her left hand and raised the Tang blade high in her right hand.
