“It’s Uncle Xiran.” Doudou refused to budge on this point.
Itched with exasperation, Bai Shu gave the child a light swat. “You already call Zhuyi ‘Big Brother’, so what’s wrong with calling Xiran ‘Big Brother’?”
Who knew what the kid was being so stubborn about. He and Xie Xiran hadn’t been together for long, but no matter what happened in the future, Bai Shu had no intention of breaking up with him right now.
He had liked Xie Xiran back in his school days, and this time around, he wanted to take things seriously and have a proper relationship with him.
Ignoring him, Doudou jutted out his little lower lip. He refused to call him that.

Mom had said that his ears were full of good fortune and couldn’t be pinched casually.
Bai Shu asked, “Are you the reincarnation of a steamed angry-bun? You’re angry every single day.”
Doudou immediately wiggled his little body with a cheeky grin. “What’s an angry-bun? Is it delicious? Oh right, Shushu, what delicious food are we having for our two-person world tonight?”
As the little fellow spoke, he even shoved his hand into his mouth, nearly drooling at the thought of all the delicious dishes Shushu cooked.
Bai Shu pulled his little hand back out. “If you bite your hand again, we’re going outside to eat fresh air tonight.”
Doudou immediately tucked his hands behind his back and looked at Bai Shu with a wronged expression. “Shushu is so fierce~”
“Speak properly!”
Hearing the way Doudou deliberately dragged out his tone gave Bai Shu a headache.
The viewers in the live stream couldn’t close their mouths from smiling. Listening to their conversation felt like listening to a crosstalk act.

“You could at least give a warning before sliding down!”
It gave him such a fright; he thought he was so exhausted he might accidentally toss Doudou aside.
Doudou dutifully took his big brother’s hand. “Sit down, Shushu!”
Guiding Bai Shu to sit on the sofa, Doudou climbed up and began pounding his shoulders and massaging his back with his little fleshy hands. “You’ve worked hard, Shushu. Doudou loves Shushu so much Mua”
Since he couldn’t reach the front while massaging the back, Doudou even walked around to the front to plant two kisses on Bai Shu’s face before hurrying back to finish the job.
Holding his little fleshy hands, Bai Shu pulled him down to sit right beside him. “Alright, sit properly now. It’s time to seriously think about your apology gift.”
Bai Shu prodded the child to focus.
Doudou twiddled his fingers. Oh dear, Shushu actually still remembers. I didn’t manage to bluff my way past it.
“Then Doudou wants to prepare it all by himself, Big Brother is not allowed to peek.” Doudou thought about it for a moment, then gave a drooping, dejected reply.
Bai Shu stroked the child’s head. “That’s a good baby.”
The viewers made their guesses: it must be an apology gift for Xie Xiran.
They had vaguely heard something about “Brother Xiran” earlier.
Meanwhile, on the other side, after Xie Xiran returned home, he had gone straight to his study.
