Monday mornings at GMM University were always lively.
Freshmen hurried across the campus with maps in their hands, trying to find their classrooms, while seniors enjoyed watching them panic from a distance.
The annual Freshmen Orientation Week had officially begun.
As Student President, Sky Wongravee stood on the stage in the university auditorium, dressed neatly in his black student council blazer.
His calm expression and commanding presence immediately silenced the crowd.
“Welcome to GMM University,” Sky began in a clear, steady voice.
“For many of you, this is the beginning of a new chapter in your lives. University is not only about grades but also about discipline, respect, and discovering who you want to become.”
The auditorium listened attentively.
“Help one another. Respect your professors. Take pride in your department. Most importantly… never lose sight of your dreams.”
His speech was short but powerful.
As soon as it ended, the hall erupted into applause.
“President Sky is so handsome…”
“I heard he’s never dated anyone.”
“No wonder everyone has a crush on him.”
Sky ignored the whispers as he stepped off the stage.
Meanwhile, the Architecture Department had been assigned to guide a group of nervous freshmen around the campus.
“Nani, you’re good with people,” his professor said with a smile.
“Can you lead today’s campus tour?”
“Of course, Professor.”
With a warm smile, Nani welcomed the new students.
“Don’t be nervous,” he said gently.
“We were all in your shoes once.”
His kind personality quickly put everyone at ease.
As they walked through the campus, Noah peeked out from his pet backpack, making the freshmen giggle.
“His name is Noah,” Nani explained proudly.
“He’s our unofficial Architecture Department mascot.”
“So cute!”
“Can I pet him?”
Noah happily accepted all the attention.
At noon, all departments gathered in the central courtyard for the Orientation Fair.
Booths lined the walkways, each showcasing student clubs, academic projects, and volunteer organizations.
The Student Council was responsible for overseeing the event.
Sky walked through the fair, making sure everything was running smoothly.
Just as he passed the Architecture booth, he heard a familiar voice.
“Careful!”
A frightened freshman had tripped over an electrical cable, causing a display stand to wobble dangerously.
Without hesitation, Nani rushed forward and caught the falling model before it hit the student.
“Are you okay?” he asked with concern.
“I-I’m sorry, Senior…”
“It’s alright. No one got hurt.”
Sky had witnessed the entire scene.
He silently walked over and moved the loose cable out of the walkway.
“This should have been secured,” he said calmly.
The freshmen immediately apologized.
“We’re sorry, President.”
Sky simply nodded.
“Be more careful next time.”
As he turned to leave, Nani called after him.
“Thank you… for helping.”
Sky paused.
For a brief moment, he looked back at the gentle omega standing beside the architectural model, Noah resting quietly in his backpack.
“…You’re welcome.”
It was only two words.
But for those who knew the Student President, they were enough to leave everyone speechless.
Nani watched Sky disappear into the crowd, a small smile appearing on his face.
Maybe…
The cold Student President wasn’t as distant as everyone believed.
And somewhere ahead, fate was already preparing their next encounter—one that would bring them even closer than either of them expected.
