After the joy subsided, Leon suddenly heard his stomach protesting.

Without further thought Leon quickly turned on the kitchen lights.
At this moment he did not care if the person with blue hair was a thief or if his actions would scare them away.
He only knew that if he did not do something all the food in the kitchen would be gone and he would go hungry.
“Spare the food!” Leon shouted, his voice betraying his identity as a foodie as he looked at the person who had fallen.

I did not mean to!” Hearing that weak voice, Leon paused with his hand halfway to his grimoire.
When Leon looked down and saw the girl covering her face on the floor, a look of utter confusion appeared on his face.

Grey?” Hearing Leon’s words, Grey slowly spread her fingers and looked at him through the gaps.

But the next second, unable to handle the shyness, Grey used her magic to transform back into her usual large burly form.
“Hoo.” Leon felt like his heart was breaking at that moment.
He had finally managed to pull off a head pat on a cute girl and she had even been shy about it.
But the next second the shy girl turned into a hulking brute.
If Leon did not have such strong mental fortitude he would have stiffened up and fallen straight backward.
However although Leon did not fall over he was still startled by Grey’s move.
Clutching his chest and taking a couple of deep breaths, Leon calmed himself down.
He looked at the transformed Grey and said in a gentle voice, “Actually I prefer your real appearance.
Although I do not know why you always maintain your magic to look like this, your true self is both beautiful and cute.” Did Leon really not know the reason?

He only said that to help Grey lower her guard.
After all he hoped more than anything that Grey would be able to face her true self.
