“Eh?
Eh???” Leon looked at Grey who was so shy that smoke was practically rising from her head.
He smiled as he released his hands from her wrists.
Feeling her wrists being released, Grey covered her entire face with both hands again and said with embarrassed indignation, “N-no.
Do not look!
It is so embarrassing!” Hearing Grey’s words, the smile on Leon’s face became even brighter.
Then Leon walked toward the freezer and said to Grey who was sitting on the floor, “You must be hungry.
Let me see what ingredients we have left.” After speaking, Leon looked at the ingredients in the freezer and casually took out some meat and vegetables.
“You need to be full for the evening.” Afterwards Leon picked up a kitchen knife and began to display his best culinary skills.
At the same time Grey, sitting on the floor, had recovered from her previous state of shyness.
And now she was watching Leon’s movements intently through the gaps in her fingers.
Having just finished cutting the vegetables, Leon suddenly felt a gaze fixed upon him.
When he turned his head behind him in confusion, he only saw Grey who had her face covered tightly.
Feeling deeply puzzled, Leon just frowned slightly, turned his head back, and poured the chopped vegetables into the pot.
Seeing Leon turn his head back, Grey let out a sigh of relief and continued to watch Leon intently.
But this time Grey was not looking through the gaps in her fingers.
She had taken her hands away from her face and was looking at Leon unabashedly.
After plating the stir-fried dish, Leon carried the plate with both hands while instructing Grey to bring over the soup placed to the side.
After placing the two plates of food on the table, Leon took the soup that Grey was holding.
Subsequently Leon first served a bowl of soup to Grey and at the same time said, “Although the taste of the dishes I stir-fry might not compare to Charmy’s, they are still quite good, so please do not turn your nose up at them.” After finishing, just as Leon was about to serve himself a bowl of soup, he suddenly noticed tears streaming from the corners of Grey’s eyes as she held the soup bowl.
Seeing this scene, Leon panicked and the empty bowl in his hand even accidentally dropped onto the table.
But at this moment Leon had no mind to care about a bowl.
Instead he scrambled in a panic to comfort the crying Grey.
Seeing the flustered Leon, Grey could not help but laugh and the soup in her hands almost spilled out.
After putting down the soup bowl, Grey wiped away the tears from the corners of her eyes and said with a smile, “I am fine.
It is just that the soup was so delicious.
Look, it made me cry.” After speaking, Grey even showed her reddened eye sockets to Leon.
Seeing that Grey was fine, Leon also laughed and at the same time rubbed the top of Grey’s head.
“Goodness, you really gave me a scare.” After the meal, Leon tidied up the empty plates on the table and the empty pot that did not have a single drop of soup left.
After washing them, he put them back in their original places.
After finishing all this, Leon looked at Grey who was standing blankly to the side and said gently, “It seems that after a full meal you are no longer shy.
You can even stare at me so directly.” Upon hearing Leon’s words, Grey’s face instantly turned flushed with embarrassment again and she immediately covered her face with both hands.
“N-no.
Do not say it so bluntly!
I…
I will really get embarrassed!” “Hahaha, is that so?
But you seem even cuter when you are shy.” Seeing white smoke slowly drifting from Grey’s head, Leon laughed even more heartily.
After parting ways with Grey, Leon returned to his room and began a new chess match with the Duke of Zhou.
