Third person POV “Interesting,” Adrian murmured.

“What did you say?” Logan asked.

“What is her name?” “Sophia,” Logan replied.

“I didn’t know her name until I heard a group of girls talking about her.” Adrian nodded.

“Keep an eye on her.

She’s someone worth paying attention to.” Adrian said, while glancing at the video one last time before handing the phone back to Logan.

– Sophia POV “Thank you,” I said as I stepped out of the car.

“Why don’t you go inside first?” Lucas said.

I nodded and started walking toward my house.

As soon as I opened the door, I heard the sound of his car driving away.

I went inside.

The house was dark.

All the lights were off.

They must have already gone to sleep, I thought.

Not wanting to disturb them, I quietly went to my room.

The next morning, my alarm rang.

I reached out and turned it off.

I don’t want to go today.

But I can’t skip college.

I can’t let my studies get affected.

I got up, freshened up, and got ready.

After that, I went downstairs.

Then I saw Mom entering the house.

“Are you coming from somewhere?” I asked.

“Yeah, I went on a walk.” “A walk?” I repeated, frowning.

“But you never go for walks.” “Can’t I go on a walk?” she asked awkwardly.

“You can,” I said.

“Where is Dad?” I asked.

“He went out and will return after two days.” “Oh,” I said.

Then her eyes fell on the clock and something that looked like regret flashed across her face.

“Sorry, dear.

I couldn’t make breakfast, so please eat in the canteen,” she said.

“Mom, are you okay?” I asked, seeing how stressed she looked.

She forced a smile.

“I’m fine.

Nothing happened.” “Then why do you look so tired, as if you haven’t slept all night?” She looked hesitant.

Was she hiding something from me?

I wondered for a second.

“Aren’t you getting late?” Mom asked.

My eyes immediately darted toward the clock.

I panicked.

“I’m really late!” Without wasting another second, I rushed out of the house.

As I was running, I accidentally bumped into one of our neighbors.

“I’m so sorry,” I said quickly and started to walk away.

“But before I could take another step, she called out to me.

“How is your dad doing now?” I stopped in my tracks.

Slowly, I turned to look at her.

“What…

happened to my dad?” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Mahekstories Thank you for reading Bound to My Bully.
