Meanwhile, the little skeleton sitting on Aron’s shoulder crossed its arms proudly.
“Hmph.” “At least that sword brat knows his place.” Aron could only shake his head helplessly.
Sometimes, he felt that the Assistants were even stranger than humans themselves.
Lisa asked worriedly, “Aron…
Is there something I need to know?” Aron looked at her and then at everyone else, who were equally eager to hear the answer.
He shook his head and said, “No.
You don’t need to know anything for now.” “Just keep practicing your sword.
You’ll understand everything eventually.” After saying that, Aron prepared to continue their journey.
By now, the monsters inside the vortex had already started reaching A-rank.
That meant the vortex had completely advanced into an A-rank Vortex.
A-rank Vortices were incredibly valuable resources.
Normally, the Sire Association or powerful factions would immediately take control of one the moment it appeared.
But right now, a completely unclaimed A-rank Vortex was sitting right in front of him.
If he could collect enough monster corpses and materials from this place, he would earn an enormous amount of money.
Gorgon and the others didn’t press Aron for answers.
By this point, they already understood that Aron possessed knowledge far beyond ordinary people.
Just the fact that Assistants could leave the Pillars of Light and appear beside their Masters whenever they wished was something the outside world didn’t know.
And now, the Little Swordsman Assistant had practically confirmed it himself.
Everyone quickly got ready and followed Aron.
According to the direction pointed out by the little skeleton, the group continued deeper into the vortex.
Along the way, they encountered countless monsters.
Some were Peak B-rank.
Others had already stepped into Initial A-rank.
Yet every single one of them died beneath Aron’s sword.
Most of the time, a single slash was enough.
The more Lisa watched, the stranger she felt.
Every movement Aron made seemed simple.
Yet every movement carried a depth she couldn’t comprehend at all.
Without realizing it, she found herself wanting to learn more and more.
Soon, the group arrived near the core region of the vortex.
The atmosphere here was completely different than usual.
The sand dunes were larger.
The air felt heavier.
Even the monsters roaming this area had reached Proper A-rank, just some stat points needed to reach the peak.
Yet Aron still dispatched them with only two or three sword strikes.
Then they encountered another monster.
A Desert Canine.
Another proper A-rank beast.
It stood nearly twenty meters tall.
Sharp fangs protruded from its mouth, while orange and black patterns covered its massive body.
A long tail swayed behind it like a steel whip.
It somewhat resembled a jaguar, but several features set it apart from an ordinary one.
The moment it spotted Aron, it lunged forward.
Its gigantic claws tore through the air toward him.
But Aron calmly sidestepped and dodged te attack.
His movements flowed naturally, like a river changing courses…
Lisa’s eyes immediately lit up.
She understood what Aron was doing.
He wasn’t simply fighting, he was teaching.
For a swordsman, sword techniques alone weren’t enough.
Footwork was equally important.
Without proper movement, even the strongest swordsman would eventually be struck down.
Lisa had practiced the Silvermoon Footsteps since childhood.
The movement technique of the Silvermoon Sword Clan.
Like the moon vanishing during the day and reappearing at night from the sight , it allowed her to move quickly and unpredictably.
But after witnessing Aron’s movements, she realized something.
Even if she used the Silvermoon Footsteps now…
She would lose.
And she would lose without even being able to lift her sword.
Aron’s movements had already surpassed the limits of ordinary techniques.
It was as though he had practiced those steps for countless decades, refining them until they became natural instinct .
Even many S-rank Sires would struggle to touch him.
The Desert Canine attacked repeatedly.
With its Claws, Fangs, Tail strikes.
The monster tried everything, yet every attack missed the target.
Aron moved effortlessly through them all.
Then, while the monster was still chasing him, Aron suddenly turned and slashed.
“GRRRRAAAHHH!” The canine crashed into the sand.
A deep sword wound appeared across its body.
Blood sprayed into the air.
The beast growled furiously.
It couldn’t understand.
Its agility was one of its greatest strengths, yet it couldn’t even touch this human.
Aron slowly raised his sword.
His gaze locked onto the monster’s yellow eyes.
Then he spoke calmly, “Now that I showed what I wanted to show her, it’s time for you to die.” His grip tightened around the hilt.
A powerful sword intent surged from his body.
The surrounding sand began to tremble.
Everyone instinctively held their breath.
Aron’s sword moved precisely.
“Flowing River Sword Technique…
First Form.” “Torrential Waves.” SWISH!
A single slash became ten.
Ten became a hundred.
Hundreds became thousands.
Countless pale-blue sword waves burst forward like a raging ocean.
The sword energy surged endlessly.
One wave followed another.
Each slash carried the momentum of a crashing river.
The attacks overlapped endlessly, like an unstoppable flood descending upon the desert.
For a brief moment, it looked as though an entire ocean had appeared in the middle of the wasteland.
The Desert Canine’s instincts screamed in terror.
Every sense in its body was sending it the same warning…
Danger, Extreme danger.
For the first time since it was born, it felt an instinctive fear toward a single sword strike.
Its beastly instincts were desperately urging it to flee, as if death itself was descending upon it.
It immediately turned and fled.
BOOM!
Its massive body leapt through the air.
BOOM!
BOOM!
With desperate jumps, it tried to escape.
But it was too late.
The Torrential Waves had already reached it.
The first wave struck.
A deep wound opened across its back.
It growled in extreme pain…
The second wave followed then the third, fourth and dozens more.
Blood exploded from the monster’s body.
Chunks of flesh were torn away from it’s massive body.
Its orange and black fur became soaked in blood.
“ROOOOOAAAAARRRRR!” The canine let out a horrifying scream.
Its voice echoed throughout the desert.
Yet the sword waves didn’t stop.
Like an endless river during a storm, they continued crashing into it.
One after another, again and again.
The monster’s legs shattered.
Its ribs split apart.
Its flesh was carved open by countless sword scars.
The giant beast stumbled forward a few more steps.
Then another wave struck directly through its neck.
“AAARRRRRGGGHHHHHH!” Its final scream echoed across the wasteland.
The sound was filled with fear, despair and unwillingness.
Then…
Everything returned to silence once again.
BOOM!
The twenty meter tall body collapsed heavily onto the sand.
A cloud of dust rose into the air.
The Desert Canine was dead.
Not far away, Lisa stood frozen.
Her eyes never left Aron.
The image of those endless sword waves had been deeply engraved into her mind.
At that moment, she finally understood why Aron had named the technique Torrential Waves.
Because when that sword move was unleashed…
It truly felt as though an entire ocean was trying to drown the world.
Aron sheathed his sword.
Now, only the core of the vortex remained.
With a wave of his hand, the Desert Canine’s massive corpse disappeared and was stored inside his System Space.
The move he had just used was the same one he had displayed during his registration at the Sire Association.
Back then, its power had been limited by his own strength.
But now things were different.
Aron had already reached Peak A-rank.
As a result, the power of Torrential Waves had risen alongside him and now stood firmly at the level of a Peak A-rank sword technique.
As for the other forms of the Flowing River Sword Technique, their destructive power had already reached the threshold of S-rank.
[Ding!] [Congratulations, Host, for killing a Perfect A-Rank vortex monster: Desert Canine.] [You have gained 100 free attribute points.] [Current free attribute points: 643.] Aron let out a quiet sigh.
The deeper they traveled into the vortex, the more A-rank monsters he had killed.
As a result, his stockpile of attribute points had continued to grow at an astonishing rate.
In fact, with the points he currently possessed, he could easily advance into the S-rank Realm whenever he wanted.
Yet he still hadn’t spent a single point.
The reason was simple…
Right now, as a Peak A-rank Sire, he could still obtain a large number of attribute points from hunting A-rank creatures.
But after advancing to S-rank, those same monsters would provide far fewer benefits.
It would be like using a high level hunter to farm low level prey.
The gains simply wouldn’t be worth it.
That was why Aron had deliberately suppressed his breakthrough.
He wanted to squeeze every possible attribute point out of this vortex before advancing.
Aron walked back toward Lisa and the others.
Looking at the group, he smiled and said, “Now, only the core is left.” Gorgon burst into laughter.
“Hahaha!
Aron, the more we watch you fight, the more ashamed we feel as veterans.” He shook his head helplessly and asked, “Just how powerful are you?” Cedric immediately joined in, “Hehehe, Brother Gorgon…
Didn’t you notice?
Aron hasn’t even used his full strength yet.
He only needs one or two sword slashes to kill those monsters.” “I’m telling you, he’s definitely as strong as an S-rank SIRE.” Rob nodded in agreement, “At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised.” Myra and Sarah also chuckled.
After traveling with Aron for this long, they had completely stopped worrying about his safety.
