The weather’s annoyingly nice… Yesterday had its share of trouble, but I still made it home, slept, and woke up. It’s amazing to be alive! ”Phew… anyway… I didn’t get to check yesterday, but…”

The top floor of this massive condominium tower is impressive enough, but I was also curious about the assets God had set up for me. So I pulled out my smartphone and did a little digging.

”…Whoa.”

All told, my total assets came to… four-digit billions of yen. What the hell is this fortune? That’s terrifying. And on top of that, I can use [Future Sight], so I can keep growing my wealth from here too…

”Phew, let’s stop thinking about that… Ah, but I should definitely keep up with the stock trading.”

So today, just like any other day, I went out for a stroll. This time, I stretched my legs a bit and ended up at…

”So this is the red-light district…”

In my past life, my awful boss dragged me to a hostess club against my will, and I only have terrible memories of it. I don’t even like alcohol, but I was forced to drink it anyway. And the girls? They only cling to the guys who spend big-like my boss. So I’d get dragged along, left alone, and forced to down drinks I didn’t even want. And sometimes, I even got stuck with the bill. Worst. Memories. Ever.

”Never thought I’d end up here after reincarnating… Well, this place is new to me, at least…”

I mean, it’s not like I had to come here or anything. But I was curious, y’know? I’m a guy, right? And I’ve got money now, right? Besides, I’m just scoping out what kind of places are around. And either way, nothing’s open at this hour anyway…

”Hmm… yeah, it’s pretty quiet during the day.”

Most shops are closed in the daytime, so the streets are dead empty. Well, except for the occasional old guy passed out in the alleys.

”I told you! Quit bein’ so persistent!” the man shouted, his voice sharp with frustration.

”Hm?” Hayato murmured, glancing toward the commotion.

Okay, déjà vu… Didn’t something similar happen yesterday? A quiet red-light district, barely anyone around-and then a woman’s voice cuts through.

”C’mon! I’ve been comin’ here for ages! An’ I pay, don’t I?!” the man insisted, stepping closer to her.

”Like I said, I told you no,” she replied coolly, her tone carrying an edge of finality.

Curious, Hayato followed the voices and found a silver-haired beauty with medium-length hair, one eye hidden beneath her left bangs with red streaks running through them-arguing with some pathetic-looking businessman type.

”C’mon! I’ve dropped so much cash here every single time! Isn’t it about time you went out with me?!” the man demanded, his voice rising.

”And I’ve told you-that was work,” she said, her words clipped and dismissive. “I have no interest in dating you.”

”Don’t screw with me!” he snarled.

”!” She flinched, taking a half-step back.

The guy flew into a rage and raised his fist-

”Whoa there. Stop,” Hayato called out, stepping forward.

”Gahhh!? What the-?!” the man yelped as Hayato grabbed his swinging arm and twisted it up.

Easy, easy-careful with the force, don’t break it, don’t snap it. That’d be bad. Hayato carefully, carefully applied pressure while using [Physical Manipulation (Extreme)] at full power to hurt him without doing permanent damage.

”Gaaah! L-let go, lemme go!” the man cried out, his face contorted in pain.

”Yeah, yeah, I’m letting go,” Hayato said, releasing his grip.

”Hiii! Hah… hah… my arm, my arm…” the man whimpered, frantically checking to make sure his arm was still attached.

”So, old guy… (Well, I can’t really call him that since he’s about the same age as my past self…)” Hayato muttered, eyeing the trembling man.

”Wh-what d’you want…?” the man stammered, clutching his arm.

”Get lost. Quietly,” Hayato said, his voice dropping low. “If you cause any more trouble… I’ll tear it off.”

”Eep-HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” The man bolted like a bat out of hell.

Man, he was fast. Was he some kind of athlete? Or just that adrenaline rush you get in a life-or-death situation?

”Sigh…” Hayato exhaled, watching him disappear.

”Hey, thanks for savin’ me~” a voice chimed from behind him.

”Ah, no, I just happened to be passin’ by,” Hayato replied, turning to face her.

”Even if it was just a coincidence, you still saved me. That’s a fact,” she said, tilting her head with a warm smile.

”Well, I guess that’s true…” he admitted, rubbing the back of his neck.

”By the way, I’m Nagisa. Murasame Nagisa,” she said, extending a hand. “And you?”

”Ah, I’m Mikage Hayato,” he replied, shaking it.

”Hayato, huh…” Nagisa mused, studying him with curious eyes. “Hey, how old are you? You’re pretty tall-same age as me? Or a bit older?”

”Uh, I actually just turned eighteen…” Hayato said, feeling his cheeks warm.

She was right there, this gorgeous woman, and he couldn’t help but get flustered. He’d had a brief relationship before in his past life, but… ugh, the bad memories are flooding back.

”Huh… younger than me, then,” Nagisa said, a playful glint in her eye. “And eighteen means you’re still in high school?”

”Uh, yeah…” he confirmed.

She said “younger,” so she’s definitely older than him. I mean, his mental age is older, but he’ll stick with polite speech just in case. Also-was it thanks to [Complete Resistance] that he wasn’t completely losing his cool being this close to a woman like this?

”Hmm… okay,” Nagisa said, tapping her chin thoughtfully. “Hey, want to come by my shop?”

”Shop?” Hayato asked, blinking.

”Mm-hmm. Here,” she said, handing him a card.

”Uh, what’s this?” he asked, examining it.

”My business card,” she explained. “Show this and mention my name, and they’ll let you in.”

”LABYRINTH…?” Hayato read aloud, frowning at the elegant lettering.

”Yep. Completely members-only,” Nagisa said with a wink. “You can’t get in without an introduction.”

”Uh, I’m a high schooler, though,” he pointed out.

”Sure, but you’re eighteen, right?” she countered smoothly. “Then no problem.”

”Uh-huh…” he said, still uncertain.

”Hehe~” Nagisa laughed softly. “Well, come by anytime, okay? I’ll be waiting. And thanks again for the save~”

And with that, she was gone.

”Let me look this up…” Hayato muttered, pulling out his smartphone.

So, he did a quick search. And the results were…

”Ohhh… the laws are different here…” he breathed, scrolling through the information.

Back in Japan, cabaret clubs are definitely eighteen-plus, but high schoolers aren’t allowed. In this world, though, if you’re eighteen, it doesn’t matter if you’re still in high school-you’re good to go. Love hotels? Also fine. He checked a few other things too-age restrictions seem way looser here. Alcohol and tobacco? Legal from eighteen. Public gambling like horse racing? Also available once you turn eighteen. And what really caught his attention… harems are legally recognized. There are a few conditions you have to meet, apparently, but polygamy is a-okay in this world.

”Man, this really is… some kind of eroge world, huh?” Hayato said to himself, shaking his head.

I mean, he was getting that vibe. All the adult stuff is super relaxed here. And harems are a thing? Yeah… He decided to stop thinking about it for now. Once again, Hayato left the red-light district behind.

Trivia:

- The author’s note about “lewd stuff starting from Chapter 9” is a direct promise and tease to readers, establishing that this is a slow-burn harem isekai.

- Hayato’s past life trauma with the black company and hostess club explains his initial hesitation and negative associations with the red-light district.

- The date “May 10 (Sunday)” establishes the timeline – this happens shortly after his reincarnation.

- Hayato’s assets total “four-digit billions of yen” – this is an absurd fortune that sets up his financial independence.

- [Future Sight] is established as a cheat ability that allows him to grow wealth through stock trading.

- The LABYRINTH card introduction is a classic “mysterious invitation” trope that will likely become a recurring location.

- Nagisa’s appearance with red-streaked bangs and hidden eye is visually distinctive – likely significant character design.

- The age law info dump establishes that this world is deliberately more permissive than modern Japan, supporting the “eroge world” feel.

- Legal harem recognition is a major worldbuilding point that directly sets up the story’s harem premise.

- Hayato’s internal hesitation about being a high schooler despite being eighteen shows he’s still mentally adjusting to the new world’s norms.
