The moment replay clips dropped, a flood of edits and cropped videos appeared. And because of the sudden, massive spoiler Go Youngin threw right before the stream ended, everyone let their hair down, got hyped, and started taking over the timeline.

Even though the live broadcast was over, weirdly, my feet wouldn’t move. So we ended it somehow… Did it go well? Right now I brute-forced it shut with a comeback spoiler, but what if something like this happens again next time?
First off, “getting through the live safely” was a glorious failure.
Fuck. I thought it was a modest goal. Modest my ass. The difficulty wasn’t modest.
No. Since I patched it up somehow, maybe it wasn’t a total failure. Let’s call it “in the middle.” Go Youngin, who’d drawn an X in his mind, quietly changed it to a triangle.
As I stood there thinking blankly, I spotted a staffer moving equipment. They looked tired, and I also needed to organize my thoughts, so I walked over.
“I’ll help.”
“What? Oh, no! It’s okay! This is our job.”
Yeah, maybe “helping” would just get in the way. Then, over the staffer’s shoulder, a single-person sofa sitting alone caught my eye. Something was covered with a blanket on top of it, and the corner of something box-like was slightly poking out from under the blanket.
‘Huh? What is that.’
Normally it wasn’t anything worth paying attention to, but for some reason it grabbed my eyes. I walked closer to the sofa to check it more carefully.
‘Wait. Is that a cake box?’
Even from just the exposed part, it was obvious—an expensive, fancy, well-designed cake box. It was tall enough to fit at least a two-tier cake.
Just as I reached out to pull back the blanket covering the box—
“Is something wrong?”
I’d been so distracted by the cake that I didn’t even notice someone coming up. A staffer stepped in smoothly between me and the sofa. It was the same staffer who’d apologized to Im Sebin right before the livestream started.
With my space cut down, I hesitated and took a small step back.
‘Fuck, something’s off.’
I wasn’t trying to be petty over something like this, but this person’s timing was weird and they looked guilty in a lot of ways. What are they hiding? It didn’t feel like they were only hiding a cake.
“Ah, it’s because of what happened earlier. I thought you must’ve worked hard preparing everything on short notice, so I wanted to say thank you.”
The more I thought about it, the more uncomfortable it felt. Maybe because it overlapped with that pie we had prepared. What the hell is going on? It’s nothing, and yet why…?
At my answer, the staffer smiled and started chattering about this and that.
Maybe because I’d already decided they were suspicious, but even that smile felt like a sly grin hiding something.
“No, really, we’re the ones who should be sorry…. We couldn’t even give notice and had to rush… Um, the new youngest staffer we hired accidentally dropped the cake while moving it. It all got ruined, so in the end, that’s what happened. It’s your 2nd anniversary, so we’re truly sorry.”
