Lily snapped out of her daze and shook her head in denial.
“What are you talking about?
I’m an unmarried maiden!” “Marriage in the human world does not signify a thing.
It is just a nuptial ceremony, with rings and drinks before consummating a marriage,” Ren said in a bored tone, as if he had seen it thousands of times in his life.
“Calling yourself an unmarried maiden simply means that you are not tied to any filthy human out there, which is a good thing to me.” One of the Fox Lord’s tails suddenly moved on its own toward Lily, slipping behind her back before wrapping around her waist.
“Wh-what are you doing!” Lily struggled faintly as she was pulled closer toward Ren.
“I had to endure the brunt of your clinginess for hours.
So, it is time for you to entertain me in return,” Ren said calmly before making sure they were glued together like before.
He also used his tail to wrap around Lily’s ankle and placed her leg over his waist before closing his eyes again.
He rested his head on one of his tails, using it as a makeshift pillow.
However, Lily did not want to get this close to Ren.
She had been nuzzling her cheeks against him and clinging to him before because she had been craving a warmth she had never experienced, and she had been sound asleep at the time.
She was fully conscious now, and lying on the bed with Ren like this would be a great dishonor for an unmarried maiden such as herself.
Thus, she struggled against him until Ren finally clicked his tongue.
Without even opening his eyes, he wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her deeper into his embrace and locking her in place.
“Stay still.
I have yet to get enough sleep,” he ordered.
“I’m unmarried!” Lily continued struggling.
“Then…” Ren opened his eyes slightly, peering at the girl whose brown eyes were glaring at him.
“Shall I marry you today, so you’re willing to lie with me until the Court of Moonlight is finished?” Lily finally stopped struggling, staring at him in disbelief.
Thus, the Fox Lord continued.
“I can prepare the nuptial ceremony, rings, and drinks right now.
We’ll get married and consummate our marriage in the evening.” “Is that enough so you’d let me lie with you for a while?” he asked rather nonchalantly, as if it were simply a regular trade between two merchants.
“How about you let me go now and let me rest somewhere else?” Lily said grimly.
She felt insulted for being treated like a prostitute.
“Can’t do.
You’re a crafty little witch.
You might plan your escape while I’m asleep,” Ren said calmly.
“There are so many of your kind here.
I won’t be able to run away!” “You absolutely can,” Ren stated, as if it were an undeniable truth.
“You have the guts to try and run away from me while I am fully awake.
You will try again later.” …
Well, that wasn’t wrong.
Indeed, Lily was planning to run away again.
At first, it was because she did not want to be Gareth’s liability, but now she also wanted to run away because this man was crazy!
“And stop wriggling around, will you?
I’m not patient enough when teased,” Ren said, still with his eyelids half-closed.
Lily stopped moving instantly.
She had been so busy trying to break away from his embrace that she did not realize something thick was hardening beneath.
Her cheeks reddened instantly.
Of course, she knew what that was; she had seen the thick and long length underneath Gareth’s pants in the morning.
At first, Lily was truly innocent about it, until she asked Gareth and he—with cheeks and ears so red, they could be mistaken for tomatoes—said that it was morning wood, or erection.
Whenever a man was aroused, it would awaken and grow hard.
After that question, Gareth didn’t dare to sleep on his back anymore.
He’d sleep at the corner, quietly turning sideways so his front would always be covered by the wall, or on his belly, so Lily wouldn’t see his morning wood anymore.
Apparently, this evil fox got aroused just because she kept trying to break free?
How crazy could he truly be?!
Seeing that she stopped struggling instantly, turning into a block of wood afraid to make a move that might arouse him even more, Ren couldn’t help but chuckle.
“It seems that Gareth hasn’t trained you at all.
That naive kid probably wants to bring you to his pack first, and then make you his Luna before marking you,” Ren scoffed.
“What an idiot.” Lily was shocked, because that was exactly what Gareth said whenever he teased her.
That he would bring her to his hometown, and then marry her.
But wasn’t that just his way of teasing?
“For me, I’d have to taste my woman first, exploring every inch of her body before making sure binding her is worth a lifetime,” Ren said, slowly reaching to the back of her head, then pulling a handful of hair, forcing Lily to look up at him.
As brown met with ruby red, a cruel smirk appeared on his lips.
Ren gently traced her soft lips, his finger tracing the curve as he muttered, “First, I will make sure to ravage her lips, to know if kissing her every day will not disgust me.” He closed the gap, inch by inch, until the tip of their noses touched and Lily’s body trembled out of fear.
She knew she should be disgusted by how irrational and insane this man was.
Yet at the same time, she felt something strange was happening inside her.
There was a heat inside her body, right below her navel—it was hot and itchy.
It felt weird that Lily couldn’t help but rub her thighs and accidentally let out a whimper.
“Mmh…” Ren grinned.
“Good response.” Then, he leaned and stole her first kiss.
