A new chapter is up.
Come in, get comfortable, and let’s see what kind of trouble waits this time ❤️ ✦ “Then we will go home first.” As Nolan spoke, he made no attempt to hide it.
A gate filled with a plain, almost understated energy appeared in the room.
It did not release a terrifying pressure.
It did not radiate dazzling light.
All it had was an impossibly simple frame, almost aggressively plain.
Hephaestus stared at the gate.
The instant she saw it with her own eye, her gaze locked onto it.
Or rather, she was trying to inspect it.
Without hesitation, she reached out to touch it.
But the moment her hand met the gate, she found that it was like an illusion.
She could not touch it at all.
“A gate that does not exist?” “Its shape is here, but it feels as unreal as a mirage.” Hephaestus wanted to study it, but this thing clearly recognized an owner.
It simply would not allow her to touch it.
“It seems only you can use it personally.” This was the first time Hephaestus had ever seen anything like it.
Something like this was already a true artifact of creation.
Even a god like her could not touch it.
“Oh, oh, oh.
That really is an unexpected surprise.” Hestia also stared at the gate.
Unlike Hephaestus, Hestia could see distorted scenes flashing behind it, twisting and overlapping in layers.
“Do not look at this gate for too long.” Hestia hurriedly jumped onto Nolan.
“If a god keeps looking, they could be assimilated into it completely.” In that instant, her divine wisdom had warned her that if she kept watching, she might be swallowed and assimilated by the gate itself.
“So it can do that too.” Hearing that, Hephaestus understood.
If Nolan did not permit someone to look, the gate refused them outright.
But if he did permit it, and that person carried a desire to explore, the gate might assimilate them completely.
They might become a servant of the gate, or perhaps become lost in that chaotic space-time.
“Then…
never mind.” Hephaestus wanted to investigate it.
But she understood that this was not something they could discuss carelessly.
It might draw enormous trouble.
More importantly, the gate belonged exclusively to Nolan.
Only its owner could control it.
“Then we will go first.” With Hestia still wrapped around him, Nolan stepped into the gate.
The instant they entered, Nolan, Hestia, and the gate itself vanished from the room, as if none of them had ever existed.
“Truly impressive.” Hephaestus had watched it happen with her own eye, and excitement rose in her chest.
This was the thing she most wanted to explore since becoming a god.
This world really did attract strange things.
‘Knock, knock.’ A knock sounded at the door.
“Lady Hephaestus, the area has been cleared.” Tsubaki Collbrande’s voice came from outside, reporting the situation.
“Come in.” Hephaestus allowed her child to enter.
The door opened.
Tsubaki walked in alone.
Once inside, she saw that only Hephaestus remained in the workshop.
“Lady Hestia and that young man?” Tsubaki paused.
If she remembered correctly, both the front and rear doors of the workshop had guards.
How had two people suddenly disappeared?
“Tsubaki, they went home temporarily to handle some business.” Hephaestus did not explain the matter in detail.
Some secrets were better kept from too many people.
If Nolan soared too high one day, she did not want her own children dragged into danger because of what they knew.
“Oh.” Tsubaki was sharp.
No one knew exactly how they had left, but that did not stop her from guessing that Nolan had something special.
After what had happened, a special ability would not be strange at all.
Then Hephaestus thought of something.
“Tsubaki, go find a white-haired boy with a cute face.” “For his appearance, use Alfia as the reference.” Hephaestus gave the order simply.
The moment she said it, Tsubaki stiffened.
“Alfia?
Lady Hephaestus, that is…” She had not expected her goddess to issue a task like this.
Hearing the name Alfia shocked her.
That monster from the past now had to be searched for here?
Was this a joke?
“The child should be Meteria’s son.” “His true name is Bell Cranel.” Hephaestus walked back to her desk and sat down.
She could keep Nolan’s matter secret, but Bell Cranel’s information was different.
Tsubaki listened to her goddess explain.
She did not know where Hephaestus had obtained this information.
But she had not expected to encounter the descendant of those sisters.
This was a task she would complete.
“What do we do after we find him?” Tsubaki asked seriously.
“Bring him into our Familia.” Hephaestus did not intend to make a losing trade.
She had paid for this information.
Of course she had to earn more from it.
“That child is in Orario right now, looking for a Familia to join.
Use the chance to recruit him.” Hephaestus stated her intention.
If that child wanted to join a Familia, then she did not mind bringing him into hers.
Raising a god-made hero was something she was very willing to do.
“Understood.” Tsubaki accepted the task.
“But be careful.” “Freya is watching that child from Babel.
If you encounter the captain of the Freya Familia, protecting your life comes first.” Hephaestus was still a little worried.
“I understand.” Tsubaki had not expected Freya to be watching from the shadows too.
“Lady Hephaestus, what exactly is this boy?” She was curious.
What kind of boy would draw Freya’s attention?
“A god-made hero.” “The final legacy of the Zeus Familia and Hera Familia.” After thinking for a moment, Hephaestus still told her.
Bell Cranel’s origin was already clear.
“Ha.
I did not expect such a surprise.” “Do not worry, Lady Hephaestus.
I will bring that boy back to the Familia.” After hearing that, Tsubaki understood that this was a tremendous prize.
A god-made hero.
The last heroic legacy of the Zeus Familia and Hera Familia.
If that information got out, all of Orario would erupt.
She could already imagine what that child might bring to the Hephaestus Familia if he joined them.
A hero.
Tsubaki decided she had to secure him, even if she had to resort to some shameless coaxing along the way.
