More importantly, Nezuko was far more important to Shin, as her fate concerned his own.
Therefore, everything Shin did was solely related to the mission.
Anything unrelated was ignored.
Under the Demon Slayer Sword’s properties, attacks that initially had little effect on the demon gradually took hold.
Because the Demon Slayer Sword’s properties suppressed the demon’s wounds, preventing them from healing quickly, copious amounts of blood gushed from the wounds, staining the demon’s entire body.
The demon’s entire body was a deep red, resembling a blood-soaked corpse.
The countless cuts inflicted by the blade made the demon even more horrifying and terrifying.
It could be said that this was a hundred times more cruel than simply killing the demon.
Shin’s actions were akin to slicing it into a thousand pieces, devoid of any mercy.
Because of the massive blood loss, the demon’s movements became incredibly sluggish, almost collapsing completely.
The demon head itself was also significantly affected.
While the effects weren’t fatal, they gave Tanjiro an opportunity to counterattack.
The demon head, now with two arms, was confronting Tanjiro.
Tanjiro’s axe, which he was trying to use to strike the demon, was being grabbed by the demon’s arms, while the demon’s hair was tangled in the axe’s handle.
The man and the demon head were vying for control of the axe.
Affected by the demon’s power, the demon head’s strength was drastically reduced.
Tanjiro seized the opportunity, using his hard head to ram the demon head several times.
Tanjiro again seized this opportunity and forcefully swung the axe towards a tree trunk.
Because the demon’s hair was still tangled in the axe handle, and the demon was somewhat dizzy, it couldn’t separate from the axe in time and was ultimately pinned to the tree trunk.
On the other hand, the demon body, after countless strikes from Shin, finally collapsed completely, its blood flowing around it.
The blood had stained the ground red, and a thick stench of blood filled the air.
Seeing the demon body fall, Shin stopped striking.
With countless strikes, the Demon Slayer Sword had absorbed a large amount of demon blood, and now its blade gleamed with a purple light.

At this moment, the broadcast from the Super-Dimensional Travel System echoed in Shin’s mind.
Shin was overjoyed.
The Demon Slayer Sword had actually upgraded!
If he soaked it in a pool full of demon blood overnight, wouldn’t it upgrade to a divine weapon?!
Shin was a little excited just thinking about it, but this idea was probably a bit unrealistic.
He guessed that subsequent upgrades would likely require specific types of blood.
This was Shin’s personal speculation.
After all, he had played a lot of online games before becoming a Super-Dimensional Transmigrator, so he naturally understood the tropes.
“Senior, I’ve controlled the demon’s head!
Come quickly!” Tanjiro waved, beckoning Shin over.
After saying that, Shin walked towards Tanjiro.
Nezuko seemed to understand Shin’s words and followed behind him.
“Tanjiro, kill it!” Shin said calmly, looking at Tanjiro.
