Seeing Rong Yan sit up excitedly, Jiang Yuhan stood up as well.

Soon after, Rong Yan hung up the phone and said to Jiang Yuhan with a panicked expression.

“I’ll go with you.” Jiang Yuhan knew that Rong Yan’s brother was a mentally disabled man who had always lived in the nursing home.

After getting dressed, Rong Yan temporarily forgot the soreness in her body and walked to the parking lot at a rapid pace.

She grabbed Jiang Yuhan, who was about to sit in the driver’s seat. “Are you sober? Let me drive!”

Jiang Yuhan had ridden in a car driven by Rong Yan before and knew her driving speed was about the same as riding a bicycle.

“Are you sure?”

Rong Yan nodded firmly. “I’m sure. I’ll drive.”

Without arguing with Rong Yan, Jiang Yuhan opened the passenger door and got in.

He had just fastened his seatbelt when the car shot forward.

Over the next twenty minutes, his wife’s driving speed went from being like a bicycle to directly upgrading to a high-speed race car.

The moment the car stopped at the entrance of the nursing home, Jiang Yuhan immediately got out.

Now he was truly sober—wide awake and clear-headed in every sense.

Giving Rong Yan a meaningful look, Jiang Yuhan walked into the nursing home and went straight to the surveillance room.

Rong Yan had to run to catch up with Jiang Yuhan, her hands already clenched into fists.

Rong Guang, you absolutely cannot be in trouble.

“Miss Rong, it’s my fault. I slept too soundly and didn’t even notice Xiao Guang opening the door and walking out.”

The person who said this was Fang Jie, the caregiver who looked after Rong Yan’s brother.

Seeing from the surveillance footage that her brother had walked out of his room and out through the nursing home’s main gate, Rong Yan could no longer remain calm.

The nursing home was built halfway up a mountain, with a forest in front and the sea behind. Her brother had just walked out like that—he couldn’t communicate with people, didn’t know the way, and had no idea that the sea could drown a person.

Rong Yan was trembling violently. Jiang Yuhan reached out and pulled her into his embrace while calling the police.

The police arrived quickly—twenty people at once—and immediately launched a search and rescue operation.

When the third young master of the Jiang family personally called the police, who would dare to take it lightly?

Sitting in the car, Rong Yan said to Jiang Yuhan in a very hoarse voice.

“Let’s go look by the seaside.”

In less than ten minutes, the car came to a steady stop at the beach.

Rong Yan immediately got out and began searching frantically.

But three hours passed—it was already lunchtime—and still there was no trace of Rong Guang anywhere.

She didn’t cry out loud, but tears kept streaming from the corners of Rong Yan’s eyes.

Jiang Yuhan wiped her tears with his bare hand. Just as he was about to say something threatening, his phone rang.

“Captain Qin, alright, we’ll head over right now.”

After hanging up, Jiang Yuhan said to Rong Yan with a somewhat gruff tone.

“You look ugly when you cry. We found him.”

Rong Yan immediately stopped crying and wiped away her own tears and snot.

However, seeing Rong Guang standing in a pile of trash, clinging tightly to a garbage bin as if he wouldn’t let go, Rong Yan still felt somewhat devastated.

“Xiao Guang, don’t be afraid. Sister is here to take you home.”

Rong Guang, holding the garbage bin with one arm and a piece of trash in the other hand, began to cry once he clearly recognized that the person before him was really Rong Yan.

“Sister… I… I’m trash…”

Her hands clenched into fists, Rong Yan struggled to keep her voice calm as she spoke.

“Xiaoguang, you’re not trash. Tell your sister, who called you trash?”

“So many people… they all say I’m trash…”

After hearing Rong Guang’s words, Rong Yan knew, even if she were slow, that it was the people at the care facility who had said it.

Jiang Yuhan immediately arranged for a new care facility for Rong Guang and had the previous one shut down on the spot.

Rong Yan was very satisfied with the new care facility, except for the price. The previous one had cost over ten thousand a month; now it was over fifty thousand.

Jiang Yuhan had also prepaid a million for her all at once. If she brought up divorce at a time like this, wouldn’t that be terribly ungrateful?

Her vision went black, and Rong Yan lost consciousness, fainting.

When she regained consciousness, Rong Yan found herself in a hospital. She also saw Jiang Yuhan on the balcony making a phone call.

The ward door was pushed open, and a doctor walked in.

“Miss Rong, you’re pregnant. The baby is healthy, but your body is quite weak right now. You need to rest well…”
