Xiao Bai could not help advising him in a low voice, her instincts screaming at her that whatever they were about to confront was something they should never provoke.

Poseidon gently patted her fin, his expression remaining firm and confident.

“Xiao Bai, don’t be afraid.

Think back to the Deep Sea Demon Whale King from back then.

Didn’t we even stab out one of its eyes and force it to flee in defeat?

This guy has no name and no reputation, so what kind of waves could it possibly stir up?

Just watch me easily sever its head!”

“But…”

“The 1,300 clans of the two seas are all carried upon my shoulders, so I have no heart to care whether this creature is strong or weak.

Let’s go!”

Poseidon waved his large hand with absolute confidence.

Xiao Bai had no choice but to suppress her fear, gather her courage, and accelerate toward the direction from which the terrifying roar had originated.

The roar that had made her feel as though her very Soul were being torn apart…

Was actually nothing more than a small yawn from Godzilla after waking up and stretching his body.

“Aooo—!”

On a small island, Godzilla stretched his enormous body and released a comfortable, rumbling groan.

As the muscles throughout his body cracked and shifted with loud popping sounds, it seemed as though he had awakened some ancient power that had been dormant within him for an impossibly long time.

Afterward, he lazily collapsed onto the ground, his enormous tail flicking gently behind him and sending sand and dust scattering through the air.

He looked like a gigantic beast that had finally eaten its fill, completely losing interest in everything around him and wanting nothing more than to lie beneath the warm sunlight while peacefully wasting time.

His sleepy golden eyes, however, remained slightly unfocused as he finally began carefully recalling everything that had happened recently.

“Hmm, being full is certainly a good thing, but what exactly did I eat?”

Godzilla smacked his lips, a trace of confusion appearing within his mind.

His thoughts churned as he began trying to reconstruct his understanding of what a Godzilla was supposed to be.

Different versions of Godzilla possessed completely different dietary requirements.

Some survived primarily by consuming nuclear energy, some hunted and devoured living creatures for sustenance, while there were even extraordinary existences such as Planet Godzilla that could survive by directly absorbing nutrients from their surrounding environment.

“But I…

feel like something is wrong.”

Godzilla stared into the distant horizon, his brow furrowing as he seriously analyzed the situation.

“If I am primarily fueled by nuclear energy, then I need sufficient high-energy fuel to maintain the normal operation of the biological nuclear reactor inside my body.”

As soon as he reached that conclusion, a faint sense of crisis immediately surfaced within his mind.

If his energy reserves were ever completely depleted, there was a possibility that his rational consciousness would be overwhelmed by instinct, transforming him into nothing more than a monster driven purely by an endless desire to hunt and consume.

The thought of returning to that terrifying state made Godzilla’s enormous tail twitch unconsciously.

“Hmm, I need to fatten myself up like a bear preparing for hibernation, and I need to keep my nuclear energy reserves above fifty percent so I can move around safely.

Otherwise, if I have to experience that feeling of being starved crazy one more time, I’d rather just die on the spot!”

His golden eyes suddenly brightened.

“Wait…

what exactly were those creatures I ate?

Their energy density was ridiculously exaggerated, and they can actually provide nuclear fuel for my biological atomic reactor!”

The question lingered in his mind for only a moment before he casually pushed it aside.

“Forget it.

Survival comes first.

Whatever they are, as long as they’re edible and can fill me up, that’s good enough.”

After confirming that his satiety level remained above ninety-eight percent, Godzilla lazily rolled onto his back and began basking his enormous belly beneath the sunlight.

Several coconut trees cracked beneath his enormous body, their trunks bending and snapping from the pressure.

Godzilla casually grabbed one of them, stripped it down with his claws as though it were a skewer, and drank a mouthful of coconut juice.

“What a pity.

My tongue doesn’t have any sense of taste, so I can’t even tell whether it’s sweet.”

He released a sigh filled with genuine regret.

At that exact moment, two intense energy fluctuations suddenly appeared within the range of his perception.

They were unprecedentedly powerful.

In fact, the combined energy contained within those two presences was almost comparable to the total amount of energy possessed by all the prey he had devoured during the previous two and a half years.

“Yo, a big meal actually delivered itself right to my doorstep?”

Godzilla immediately flipped upright.

His enormous golden vertical pupils locked onto the distant horizon, and he instinctively licked his lips.

It did not take long before two figures slowly entered his field of vision.

One was a man, while the other was a woman.

The man possessed blue hair, while the woman had gray-blue hair, and both wore simple yet solemn robes as they steadily approached him from the direction of the sea.

“Those clothes look like…

something ancient humans would wear.”

Godzilla lowered his enormous head slightly and released a low snort while calmly observing the two approaching figures.

Unlike Godzilla’s calm curiosity, however, Poseidon and Xiao Bai were completely stunned by the gigantic creature standing before them.

The monster’s enormous body rose a full hundred meters into the sky, towering above the island like a living mountain.

Every time its colossal tail swung through the air, it produced sharp cracks like an enormous steel whip cutting through the atmosphere.

Even the simple rise and fall of its chest caused the surrounding earth to tremble faintly, while the terrifying Aura radiating from its body was so oppressive that ordinary creatures would struggle to breathe beneath it.

A terrifying giant beast standing a full hundred meters tall!

One had to understand that the largest Spirit Beast they had ever encountered, the Deep Sea Demon Whale King, was only slightly more than two hundred meters long.

In the boundless ocean, a Spirit Beast’s body could continue growing as its cultivation and bloodline advanced, but land-dwelling creatures faced completely different physical limitations.

Just how powerful did the body of a land-dwelling giant beast need to be if it could support such an enormous frame?

Xiao Bai’s body instinctively trembled.

Her teeth lightly chattered together, producing a faint clacking sound.

It was not simply fear.

It was an instinctive reaction originating from deep within her body.

When faced with Godzilla’s completely undisguised pressure, Xiao Bai, as a member of the Spirit Beast race, could only express her awe through the highest form of respect her instincts could produce.

Leave.

Her body was screaming at her to leave this place immediately.

Xiao Bai swallowed a mouthful of saliva with difficulty before finally forcing herself to speak.

“Lord Sea God…”

Poseidon’s eyes narrowed slightly as his Battle Intent began rising.

He could clearly tell that the monster standing before them was absolutely not an ordinary 100,000-year Spirit Beast.

Its terrifying Aura was so powerful that it was comparable to the Deep Sea Demon Whale King.

“This monster’s strength…

perhaps it really can contend with the Deep Sea Demon Whale King.”

Poseidon took a deep breath and firmly suppressed the unease within his heart.

“Even a lion uses its full strength when hunting a rabbit.

When I, Poseidon, make a move, I will never give my opponent even the slightest opportunity!”

His voice had barely fallen when the Spirit Ring beneath his feet suddenly illuminated the surrounding area.

“Seventh Spirit Ability, Martial Soul Avatar!”

As Poseidon shouted, the trident in his hand suddenly erupted with dazzling blue light.

The weapon rapidly expanded beneath the surging power, transforming into a gigantic trident more than a hundred meters long, while its overwhelming Aura spread outward like a mountain collapsing into the sea.

The enormous blade of the trident was originally large enough to resemble a small mountain.

Yet when compared with the Godzilla standing before them, even that gigantic weapon appeared no more substantial than a thin bamboo pole.

Godzilla stared at the weapon for several seconds.

Faced with this sudden display of hostility, he merely tilted his enormous head in confusion.

“What is this supposed to be?

Are we really fighting immediately without talking first?”

Poseidon obviously had no intention of giving him the opportunity to continue thinking.

His eyes flashed coldly as his ninth Spirit Ability erupted.

“Ninth Spirit Ability—Crush the Waves!”

The instant his voice fell, Poseidon swung the enormous trident with overwhelming force.

The surrounding ocean instantly erupted.

Tens of thousands of acres of seawater surged violently into the sky, converging under the control of his terrifying power until they condensed into a colossal water dragon more than a thousand meters long.

The water dragon twisted through the heavens, its enormous body coiling through the clouds as waves continued pouring into its form.

Then Poseidon abruptly swung his trident downward.

The enormous water dragon immediately descended from the heavens like a divine punishment, carrying enough force to shake the surrounding sea as it crashed directly toward Godzilla.

Godzilla’s enormous golden vertical pupils suddenly contracted.

A trace of anger finally appeared within his otherwise calm mind.

Having a meal delivered directly to his doorstep was one thing.

But for that meal to actually dare attack and kill him?

That was an entirely different matter.

“Then let me show you what Godzilla’s Atomic Breath feels like!”

The moment Godzilla opened his enormous jaws, every hair on Xiao Bai’s body instantly stood on end.

Her scalp went numb, her back turned cold, and an overwhelming sense of danger surged through her heart like a gigantic tide.

For the first time, Xiao Bai desperately wished she could abandon Poseidon and flee this battlefield immediately.

Godzilla slowly inhaled.

The enormous movement caused the surrounding air to distort toward his mouth, while a deep humming vibration gradually emerged from somewhere within his chest.

The sound grew increasingly intense.

Then—

A scorching blue-white ray erupted from Godzilla’s mouth.

The Atomic Breath tore through the air with terrifying speed, heading directly toward the descending water dragon.

In the blink of an eye, the two enormous forces collided.

BOOM!

An earth-shattering explosion shook the entire sea.

The water dragon violently collided with the blue-white Atomic Breath, and an enormous quantity of seawater instantly transformed into vapor beneath the terrifying heat.

White mist exploded outward in every direction, rapidly spreading across the surrounding battlefield while scorching waves of heat followed behind it.

The temperature continued rising.

Everything within the affected region seemed to be on the verge of being evaporated.

Xiao Bai’s pupils contracted violently.

The moment the white mist touched her skin, an intense pain immediately spread throughout her body.

It felt as though her entire body had been thrown into boiling water and scalded from head to toe.

She instinctively retreated while staring at the battlefield in disbelief.

That was merely the aftermath.

And yet even the aftermath was already powerful enough to make her suffer.

For the first time, Xiao Bai truly understood something terrifying.

The monster standing before them was not merely another powerful Spirit Beast.

It was a calamity disguised as a living creature.

And Poseidon had just attacked it first.
