A moment later, the crimson and golden light gradually faded.
The violently churning sky and the surrounding environment returned to calm.
Vegeta, however, couldn’t take his eyes off Alex.
“Wh-what is this?!”
Alex was now entirely enveloped in a fiery, ethereal red aura.
His hair had turned a vibrant crimson.
Already a striking young man, the transformation elevated his presence to something otherworldly.
A devilish, utterly confident smirk played on his lips.
His deep, piercing gaze was so intensely cold that Vegeta instinctively found himself unable to meet it.
Alex slowly raised his hand, clenching his fist as he murmured softly, “Oh?
So this is the power of a Super Saiyan God?
Not bad at all.”
He could clearly feel that his strength had undergone a complete qualitative leap.
If he had to put a number on his current power level, it would easily be in the Sextillions—an absolutely terrifying realm of existence.
The cosmic power scale went from Billions to Trillions, Quadrillions, Quintillions, Sextillions, and far beyond into incomprehensible numbers.
Transformations in Dragon Ball Super were fundamentally different from the previous eras.
These were divine transformations.
The stat boosts were so horrifically massive that they couldn’t even be calculated using standard multipliers anymore; they were entire dimensional shifts in power.
That was exactly why Alex was so confident he could crush Goku the moment he unlocked this form.
A Super Saiyan 3 Goku peaked somewhere in the Trillions.
By transforming into a Super Saiyan God, Alex had completely skipped the Quadrillions and Quintillions, landing straight into the Sextillions.
It was utterly absurd.
Alex looked down at the dumbfounded Saiyan Prince, a faint smile tugging at his lips.
“Well, Vegeta?
Does this count as a Super Saiyan to you?”
Vegeta snapped out of his daze.
He desperately extended his senses, trying to gauge Alex’s ki, but felt absolutely nothing.
Yet, despite the lack of a detectable energy signature, his Saiyan instincts screamed at him that the man standing before him was indeed in a Super Saiyan state.
What specific form it was, however, he had no idea.
“What kind of form is this?!” Vegeta demanded.
“Super Saiyan God,” Alex replied smoothly.
Vegeta froze.
The name sounded incredibly familiar, like an ancient memory buried deep in the recesses of his mind, but he couldn’t quite place it.
Seeing his confusion, Alex elaborated, “The Super Saiyan God is the deity of the Saiyan race, born to eradicate evil.
It is the legendary savior of the Saiyans.”
Vegeta’s pupils dilated in absolute horror.
He remembered exactly where he had heard of this transformation.
It was recorded in the most ancient annals of Saiyan history.
He had once skimmed through a legend detailing a time when the Saiyan race faced total annihilation.
A righteous Saiyan had awakened the power of the Super Saiyan God and used that divine strength to defeat their enemies.
However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the savior had ultimately vanished without a trace.
Because the event had occurred countless millennia ago, Vegeta and the rest of the modern Saiyans had dismissed it as nothing more than a myth.
But now, looking at the blinding crimson aura radiating from Alex, Vegeta realized the legend was absolutely real.
His face contorted in sheer, overwhelming shock.
“Impossible…” he muttered, his voice trembling.
“This is…
the Super Saiyan God?!”
“Would I lie to you?” Alex smiled faintly.
“Come on, Vegeta.
Let’s test out your combat power.”
Vegeta swallowed hard.
He didn’t even need to fight to know that he was completely outmatched.
For a fleeting second, a cold spike of fear pierced his chest.
‘I shouldn’t have been so impulsive,’ he thought bitterly.
Seeing the Saiyan Prince subtly trembling reminded Alex of how Vegeta usually acted around Lord Beerus.
Alex let out an exaggerated sigh.
“It seems the proud Prince of all Saiyans only throws his weight around when he’s facing ordinary mortals.
How disappointing.”
Alex was deliberately baiting him.
He already knew he could effortlessly crush Vegeta in his current state, but he genuinely wanted to test out just how powerful his new Sextillion-level strength really was.
Vegeta’s head snapped up, his mouth twitching violently.
‘An insult!
He dares insult me?!’ He was the Prince of all Saiyans!
The proudest, most elite warrior in the universe!
So what if this guy was a god?!
So what if he was the Super Saiyan God?!
Driven by pure rage, Vegeta let out a furious roar.
“Haaaa!”
He shot forward like a bolt of lightning, his fists tightly clenched as he launched a devastating assault.
“I don’t care if you’re a Super Saiyan God!” he screamed.
“I don’t care if you’re the savior of our race!
You’re standing in front of the Prince, and I will crush you!”
Swoosh!
But to Alex’s god-tier perception, the attack was painfully slow.
It was practically crawling.
With a slight tilt of his head, Alex easily sidestepped the blow.
Shocked, Vegeta unleashed a chaotic, hyper-aggressive flurry of strikes.
His fists rained down like a torrential downpour, but not a single punch connected.
Alex glided through the barrage effortlessly, dodging every strike with millimeter precision.
Alex was highly satisfied.
This was the terrifying power of a Super Saiyan God.
However, he quickly noticed the massive stamina drain.
He had only been in the form for a few minutes, yet he could already feel his energy reserves depleting.
If he actually fired off a ki blast, the drain would be astronomical.
‘No wonder Goku mostly uses Super Saiyan Blue in the future,’ Alex reasoned internally.
‘Blue is more stable, consumes less stamina, and offers a higher multiplier than the Red form.’
Watching Vegeta desperately swing at thin air, Alex raised his hand and curled his middle finger against his thumb.
He casually flicked Vegeta right between the eyes.
Thwack!
“Gwaah!”
Vegeta let out an agonizing scream.
The sheer force of the flick launched him thousands of meters through the air like a cannonball.
He clutched his forehead with both hands, screaming in pain until he violently crashed into the ground.
Down on the balcony, Bulma had only seen Vegeta get sent flying backward, unable to track exactly how far he had gone.
“Vegeta!” she cried out in alarm.
Alex looked down at her.
“Relax.
I didn’t actually hurt him.
I just taught him a little lesson.”
Right at that moment, Master Roshi, Krillin, and the rest of the fighters arrived on the scene.
They had clearly witnessed Alex send Vegeta flying with nothing but a casual finger flick.
Their jaws dropped, their eyes nearly bulging out of their sockets as they stood there paralyzed with shock.
It was utterly terrifying.
Vegeta was one of the strongest warriors in the universe, and he had just been swatted away like a fly.
The sheer, overwhelming power of this new enemy sent cold shivers down their spines.
They had never encountered an entity this horrifying before.
Standing on the ground below, Trunks glared up furiously at Alex.
“You big jerk!
How dare you hurt my dad!”
He immediately turned his head and shouted, “Goten!”
