“I’ll take Midnight’s magic, please.” “So, what about the third wish?” “So, how will this happen?” “Oh, the first cheat is pretty simple — you just have a dragon inside you.” “The second cheat will be your innate magic, which you’ll naturally awaken.” “The third cheat will give you an incredible affinity for the magic you choose, but you’ll have to learn it yourself.” “So what magic would it be?” “Wait, let me enhance my second wish first, understand it, then I can choose a complementary magic to go with it.” “Okay, so you have 18 arcs left, and half the knowledge of the 100 Year Quest, remaining with you.” “So how do I enhance it?” “How many arcs can be used to enhance Reflector Magic to max?” “Three arcs.” “Please use three arcs to upgrade it.” “Done.
Now you have Innate Distortion Magic.” “Can you tell me what it can do?” “It can distort anything, without exception, if you have enough magic power and mastery over it.” “So, basically the distortion ability of the Black Emperor pathway from LOTM?” “They’re similar, but yours can’t reach the level of LOTM’s.” “Oh, but it’s still pretty good.
Can I use abilities like Magnify or Corruption?” “You can use Magnify, but not Corruption.” “Oh, okay.
So for my third cheat, I’d like Enchantment Magic.” “Okay.” “So if I enhance my third request, what will it do?” “It will make it easier for you to learn the magic, and easier to master.” “So what’s the max enhancement for it?” “Three arcs.” “Please enhance it to max.” “Okay.” “So what happens if I want to enhance my first cheat?” “It will just make the dragon friendlier toward you.
In the end, your own actions will mostly determine what happens.” “So this could be useless to enhance.” “Your call.” “Can’t I specify what type of dragon it is, or something?” “No.” “Sigh.
Still, please enhance it to max.” “You don’t seem to want to keep any meta-knowledge to yourself.” “Right.
Firstly, it would be beneficial for you, sir.
Secondly, I’ve read enough fanfiction to know what happens to most transmigrators — they end up under useless pressure because of their future knowledge, trying to control everyone around them, prevent tragedies, or something like that.
I don’t want to be like that.
I want to be happy and not worry about everything.
Fairy Tail is a relatively happy anime, and the plot basically boils down to ‘kill the big bad’ — no one really dies.
So I think I can be happy there.” “So, what can I do with the remaining arcs?” “You can enhance your body and your own magical capacity.” “Please strengthen them to max.” “Okay.
You now have three arcs left, and half-baked knowledge of the 100 Year Quest.” “I want to use the 100 Year Quest knowledge to give me enough future knowledge to reach Fairy Tail from wherever you’re dropping me.” “Oh, you made a good choice.” “Why do you say that?” “Because by the time you receive your memories, you’ll already be in the Tower of Heaven.” “Well, fuck.” “Why there?” “I could also send you to the Bureau of Magical Development, but I’d reckon escaping that would be harder than the Tower of Heaven.” “Well, that’s true.” “Sigh.
What can I do with the remaining three arcs?
Most people try to hold onto some knowledge, but you can instead enhance your affinity with some magics.” “Splitting focus too much can be bad, so let’s leave it at those two magics.
Can I enhance other things, like luck?” “Yes.” “Use one to enhance my luck.” “Use one to make me look good.” “Use the last one to make my voice sound good — I think I can take up singing as a hobby now.” “Okay, that’s it.
Take care.” After the talk with the god, I suddenly fell asleep.
