L According to scientific research, the average adult male on Earth has approximately 36 trillion cells, while the average adult female has around 28 trillion.

That was merely a fraction of the number of cells possessed by humans in the Naruto world.

Compared to them, Earth’s humans had barely a quarter as many.Full novel: From Konoha Through the Multiverse — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

And that meant one thing: For an ordinary human from Earth, extracting chakra was almost impossible.

Their cells simply couldn’t withstand the strain.

After learning this, Tsunade bluntly told Ryan that if he tried to extract chakra by forcing energy out of his cells, only one outcome awaited him— Massive cellular death.

The more chakra he extracted…

The faster he would destroy his own body.

Worse still, because Earth humans possessed so few cells to begin with, Ryan would never accumulate as much chakra as even an average Genin before dying.

According to Tsunade, there were only two ways to change that.

The first…

Eat a Chakra Fruit.

A Chakra Fruit contained unimaginable energy.

Once consumed, it could completely transform Ryan’s body and grant him tremendous power.

Unfortunately…

There was one major problem.

The Chakra Fruit’s power was simply too overwhelming.

Ryan’s body was far too fragile.

So after eating it…

Would he ascend to incredible strength?

Or explode on the spot?

Even Tsunade had no idea.

The second option…

Inject Hashirama Senju’s cells into his body and reconstruct his physiology.

When Ryan heard that explanation, his expression clearly said, “Do you hear yourself right now?” The Chakra Fruit had barely even been mentioned in the original story.

It had never actually appeared.

Where exactly was he supposed to find one?

As for injecting Hashirama’s cells…

Wasn’t that just asking to die even faster?

From that day onward, Ryan completely gave up on the idea of learning chakra or ninjutsu.

If he couldn’t use chakra…

Then what attraction did the Naruto world still hold for him?

Practically none.

Well…

There was one exception.

Ichiraku Ramen.

That was actually the reason Tsunade had brought both Ryan and Shizune back to Konoha.

After reading the Naruto manga in Ryan’s world, Tsunade had indeed decided to accompany him on his journey across different worlds in search of a way to save the ninja world and oppose the Ōtsutsuki Clan.

But she had never intended to return to Konoha.

After spending so many years away…

She truly didn’t want to go back.

Unfortunately, Ryan had been fascinated by Ichiraku Ramen.

Although realizing he could never learn chakra had greatly reduced his interest in the Naruto world…

Countless transmigration novels had practically deified Ichiraku Ramen.

Since he was already here…

How could he not try it?

So Tsunade reluctantly brought Ryan and Shizune back to Konoha.

And Ryan finally got to eat the legendary bowl of ramen.

What did he think?

It was delicious.

But not so extraordinary that it would become unforgettable.

If someone asked him to eat it every day…

He would refuse.

If they invited him once every few days…

He’d happily go.

That was about where it ranked in his mind.

After finally tasting Ichiraku Ramen…

Ryan completely lost the last traces of fascination he had with the Naruto world.

If he could leave immediately for another world…

He wouldn’t hesitate for a second.

Unfortunately…

His mysterious ability refused to cooperate.

Although Ryan could clearly sense that it was almost ready to connect to another world…

He had no idea how long “almost” actually meant.

It felt like watching a progress bar frozen forever at 99%.

The frustration was unbearable.

Seeing Ryan’s helpless expression, Tsunade sighed.

Whatever.

A few more days wouldn’t make much difference.

“Let’s clean the house first.” She formed another hand seal and created a Shadow Clone to begin tidying the house.

The clone immediately protested.

“Seriously?

We’re both Tsunade.

Why do you get to sit around while I’m the one doing all the work?” Even while complaining…

The Shadow Clone obediently began cleaning.

Watching it work, Ryan couldn’t hide a trace of envy.

Truthfully…

Although he had accepted that learning chakra and ninjutsu was impossible…

He still felt a little disappointed.

He didn’t care much about the flashy techniques.

The Rasengan.

Fire Release techniques.

Tsunade’s monstrous strength.

The Flying Thunder God Technique.

If he couldn’t learn them…

So be it.

But the Shadow Clone Technique…

That was genuinely useful.

When exploring unknown worlds in the future, it would be an incredible ability.

Ryan truly wanted to learn it.

“So…” “Is there really no way for me to learn chakra or ninjutsu?” After thinking it over for a long time, he decided to ask once more.

Maybe…

Just maybe…

There was another possibility.

Tsunade studied the hopeful look on his face before speaking thoughtfully.

“It’s not completely impossible.” Ryan immediately sat up straight.

He hadn’t expected her to actually have another answer.

Tsunade explained, “Over the past few weeks, I’ve studied a great deal of medical research from your world.” “Especially everything related to cloning.” “I’ve gained a much deeper understanding of the subject.” “If Orochimaru and I worked together…” “We might be able to clone a body using my grandfather’s cells.” “Then transfer your soul into that cloned body.” “If we succeeded…” “You’d be able to extract chakra.” “You could learn ninjutsu.” “You might even inherit my grandfather’s legendary Wood Release that once brought peace to the world.” “So?” “Interested?” Faced with such an incredible temptation…

Ryan shook his head without the slightest hesitation.

His original body was just fine.

He had no intention of replacing it.

What if switching bodies caused him to lose his ability to travel between worlds?

The risk simply wasn’t worth it.

“I’ll pass.” “I have no intention of becoming your grandfather.” “Get lost.” Tsunade glared at him.

She had sincerely offered him a solution…

And this idiot still found a way to tease her.

If she didn’t still need his help…

She would have rewarded him with one of her monstrous punches.

Did he really think he could take advantage of her so easily?

Even so…

She wasn’t about to let him off completely.

She flicked a finger toward him.

Snap!

A crisp sound echoed through the room.

The air itself burst with a dull pop.

Ryan instantly felt an invisible force strike him square in the forehead.

With a loud thud, he collapsed backward onto the tatami floor.

Smiling mischievously, Tsunade said, “I modified this attack using my monstrous strength after reading about the Finger Pistol from One Piece.” “It’s basically an air bullet.” “Not bad, right?” “Just enough force to leave you completely stunned without actually damaging your brain.” The next second…

Ryan suddenly burst into uncontrollable laughter.

“Hahahahahaha!” He laughed so wildly that he looked like one of the legendary “Mad Laughing Uchiha.” Tsunade stared at him blankly.

Then her brows slowly furrowed.

“…What’s going on?” “Did I accidentally use too much force…” “…and knock this idiot stupid?” ( End of Chapter )
