After calming down, Tsunade thought it through carefully.
She had absolute confidence in her own strength.
More importantly, she had complete confidence in her control over chakra.
After all, she was one of the greatest medical ninja in history.
Her mastery of chakra control had long since reached the pinnacle.
There was no way that tiny air bullet could have damaged Ryan’s brain.
“It’s ready.” Just as Tsunade was about to ask why Ryan had suddenly started laughing like a madman, he abruptly sat upright.
His eyes gleamed with excitement.
They practically seemed to be glowing.
“Ready?
What’s ready?” Tsunade asked, momentarily confused.
Ryan grinned.
“My ability.” “No…
more accurately…” “It’s finally working.” Tsunade frowned.
“What do you mean?” Ryan pointed at his slightly reddened forehead.
“The instant your air bullet hit me…” “It felt like something inside my head suddenly opened.” “I can’t explain it.” “But I can feel it.” “My ability is active now.” “I can finally connect to another world.” Hearing that, Tsunade’s eyes widened in disbelief.
She stared at her own fingers.
“…My air bullet has that kind of effect?” “Should I hit you a few more times?” Ryan rolled his eyes.
“Hit your own head.” “I already told you it was almost ready.” “It just happened to activate at the exact moment you hit me.” “It has absolutely nothing to do with your attack.” “You never know.” Tsunade smirked mischievously.
“Maybe it does.” Ryan narrowed his eyes suspiciously.
“I think you’re just looking for an excuse to beat me up.” Tsunade folded her arms across her chest.
The motion only emphasized her already impressive figure.
“Hmph.” “Do you really think I’m that kind of person?” Ryan nodded without the slightest hesitation.
“Absolutely.” Seeing Tsunade’s eyebrows twitch with anger, he immediately changed the subject.
“Do you still want to visit the new world?” Only then did Tsunade suppress her irritation.
“Of course.” “Why wouldn’t I?” “Right now?” “Right now.” She sprang to her feet.
She was fully awake.
Breakfast was finished.
There was no better time to explore another world.
Ryan asked, “Shouldn’t we wait for Shizune?” As Tsunade’s apprentice and constant companion, Shizune knew about Ryan’s ability and the existence of other worlds.
She had even read Naruto.
She was one of the few people who knew the truth.
Tsunade waved dismissively.
“It won’t make any difference whether she’s here or not.” “Who knows how much she drank with her friends last night?” “I’m not waiting.” “I’ve waited long enough.” “We’re leaving.” “Right now.” “Immediately.” Seeing how determined she was, Ryan didn’t argue.
Tsunade was powerful enough.
As long as they didn’t encounter an overwhelmingly dangerous situation the instant they arrived, she was more than capable of protecting him.
Ryan walked over to the door of the traditional Japanese-style living room.
They were currently inside the Senju Clan residence in the Naruto world.
The living room entrance wasn’t a hinged door.
It was a sliding door.
Fortunately…
That didn’t matter.
Ryan’s ability worked on any kind of door.
Sliding door.
Hinged door.
Wooden door.
Stone door.
Iron door.
Security door.
As long as it was a door…
It worked.
Taking a deep breath, Ryan activated his mysterious ability.
Then…
He slowly slid the door open.
Ordinarily, a wooden hallway lay beyond the doorway.
But this time…
The hallway had vanished.
Instead…
A brightly lit bedroom appeared before Ryan and Tsunade.
Standing in front of a full-length mirror was a young woman fixing her appearance.
She was tall and slender, with long limbs and refined facial features.
Her high nose bridge and narrow eyes gave her an elegant beauty.
Her deep blue eyes contrasted beautifully against her fair skin.
She wore her hair in a distinctive hime cut.
She was dressed in a dark cowgirl-inspired outfit that exposed her midriff, featured a low neckline, and had high side slits that accentuated her graceful figure.
While adjusting herself in front of the mirror…
She suddenly noticed the bedroom door opening behind her.
Reflected in the mirror…
A completely unfamiliar man and woman were standing in the doorway, calmly observing her.
Her vigilance instantly shot to its highest level.
The moment she turned around, she crossed both hands over her chest.
“Six Fleur!” In an instant…
Six arms sprouted from Ryan’s body, attempting to restrain him.
But before they could move— They froze.
The moment the woman spoke…
Tsunade had already disappeared.
Using the Body Flicker Technique, she instantly appeared behind her.
A kunai rested lightly against the woman’s throat.
“Don’t move.” Tsunade’s icy voice echoed beside her ear.
The overwhelming killing intent radiating from her sent chills down the woman’s spine.
She had no doubt whatsoever…
If she made the slightest suspicious movement…
The sharp blade would slit her throat without hesitation.
She didn’t dare move.
“Everyone, calm down.” Ryan finally spoke.
Looking at the woman, he smiled.
“Miss Nico Robin.” “Please release your ability.” “We’re not your enemies.” Then he looked toward Tsunade.
“And Tsunade…” “Put the kunai away.” “We can all sit down and talk.” That’s right.
The woman standing before the mirror was none other than Nico Robin from the world of One Piece.
Just as Ryan had recognized Tsunade immediately…
He had recognized Nico Robin at first glance as well.
There was simply no mistaking that appearance.
Tsunade ignored Ryan’s request.
She kept the kunai firmly against Robin’s neck.
Ryan still had six extra arms growing from his body.
Nor did she withdraw even a fraction of her killing intent.
Robin’s eyes flickered slightly.
After a brief pause…
She slowly lowered her hands.
The six arms growing from Ryan instantly dissolved into countless flower petals before disappearing into thin air.
Ryan instinctively reached out to grab one.
His fingers closed on nothing.
“So that’s the power of a Devil Fruit…” He couldn’t help but marvel.
“It really is fascinating.” Only after Robin released her ability did Tsunade finally withdraw her killing intent.
She lowered the kunai and stepped back.
Even so…
Her gaze never left Robin.
If Robin made even the slightest suspicious move…
Tsunade wouldn’t hesitate to kill her.
Ryan’s safety determined whether Tsunade had any hope of saving the ninja world.
She couldn’t afford even the smallest mistake.
Meanwhile…
Feeling the blade leave her throat, Robin quietly breathed a sigh of relief.
Maintaining her composure, she asked, “Who are you?” “And why did you enter my room?” Ryan smiled warmly.
“What if I told you…” “We’re visitors from another world?” Robin’s expression shifted several times before she finally forced out a polite smile.
“So…” “Should I believe that…” “Or shouldn’t I?” Although those were her words…
Her eyes clearly said only one thing.
I don’t believe a single word you’re saying.
Ryan hadn’t expected her to accept such an unbelievable explanation so easily.
Instead, he simply asked, “So where exactly are we?” “Arabasta…” “Or another island?” ( End of Chapter )
