In the real world of Teyvat, Vision holders possessed far greater flexibility in their control over the Elements than they did in the game. They certainly weren’t limited to just a handful of fixed moves.

Having yet to awaken any abilities, Lumine had no choice but to swim across using nothing but her own strength. By now, she was soaked through, her thin clothes clinging tightly to her body and accentuating her figure.

Humiliation and anger surged through Lumine at once. Mortified, she launched a crisp flying kick straight at Kamisato Satoru.

Splash!

With nothing more than a simple teleport, Kamisato Satoru effortlessly evaded the attack. The patch of land beneath the Statue was already pitifully small, and Lumine had put far too much force into her kick. She sailed straight into the water, performing Teyvat’s very own version of a "Philippine dive."

The enormous splash shot several meters into the air, even "stunning" several bass in the lake on the spot.

Watching the spectacle, Kamisato Satoru silently awarded her an awkward score of zero.

Staring at the unfortunate fish floating belly-up across Starfell Lake, Kamisato Satoru couldn’t help marveling at the sight. If Klee ever saw this, she’d probably get so excited she’d drag Lumine off with her to study the fine art of fish blasting.

"Pwah!"

Lumine had plunged even deeper this time. It took her considerable effort to finally break the surface, spit out the water in her mouth, and glare at him with eyes that practically burned with murderous fury.

"Come on, look at the Kamera! Don’t forget to say ’cheese’!"

Click!

Kamisato Satoru swiftly pressed the shutter, his face positively beaming.

This "Traveler Falling into the Water" photo was priceless material that came along once in a blue moon. If he took it back to Inazuma, it would definitely fetch a good price.

"Lumine, grab my hand!"

Kamisato Ayaka had completely given up on trying to correct Kamisato Satoru’s terrible personality. She knew that no matter what she said, her elder brother would shamelessly let it go in one ear and out the other.

With Ayaka pulling her up, Lumine finally climbed back onto dry land, dripping wet from head to toe.

For the sake of the beautiful and gentle Ayaka, I’ll spare that blindfolded bastard this time.

Lumine silently swore to herself.

"Traveler, hurry up and try it! Put your hand on the Statue and see if you can sense Lord Barbatos’s presence!"

Paimon circled the ancient Statue several times, looking more anxious than anyone else.

Lumine composed herself before slowly extending her right hand. Her fingertips touched the cold stone pedestal.

Hum—

The instant she made contact, a visible cyan wind field suddenly manifested around the entire Statue. The orb held aloft in the statue’s palm erupted with dazzling light as a stream of pure green energy separated from it and swiftly merged into Lumine’s body.

Whoosh!

Gentle currents of Anemo swirled around Lumine. The previously dull diamond-shaped patterns on her clothing all turned a fresh, vibrant green.

"So this is what Anemo feels like? My whole body feels so light."

Lumine lowered her gaze to her palm and murmured softly.

Kamisato Ayaka stared in astonishment before exclaiming, "This is incredible. To wield the Elements directly without a Vision... I’ve never seen anything like it before."

Kamisato Satoru also looked intrigued.

His own techniques might possess astonishing power, but their destructive range was simply too great. Fighting out in the wilderness was one thing, but if he ever cut loose inside a city, half of Mondstadt would probably end up wrecked.

"Hmph! Kamisato Satoru, you’d better watch yourself. I can wield Anemo now too, so you’d better start treating me with some respect!"

Lumine smugly waved a small fist at him.

Kamisato Satoru merely smiled without saying a word.

I’d really like to know who gave you that confidence.

"ROAR—!"

Just then, an incredibly deep and oppressive dragon’s roar came from the distant horizon.

Gales instantly tore across the sky as an enormous dragon, vast enough to blot out the heavens, thundered over their heads.

The dragon’s entire body was a deep azure blue, with long, feather-like streamers trailing behind its tail. Every beat of its three enormous pairs of wings stirred violent torrents of elemental energy through the air.

"Oh my gosh! What kind of monster is that?!"

Paimon shrieked and immediately ducked behind Lumine in fright.

"That should be the legendary Stormterror, Dvalin, right?"

There wasn’t the slightest trace of fear on Kamisato Satoru’s face. Judging solely by the intensity of its presence, the enormous dragon wasn’t strong enough to pose any substantial threat to him.

"You said it’s a dragon?"

"Kamisato Satoru, have you seen it somewhere before?" Lumine asked in surprise, turning toward him.

"When you’re traveling abroad, you’ve got to do your homework. Back in Inazuma, I collected plenty of information about the other nations. Mondstadt has been suffering from a pretty serious dragon crisis lately, and the one responsible should be that guy who just flew past."

As he spoke, Kamisato Satoru casually reached out and touched the Statue of The Seven as well.
