After all, even if Ayato personally took action, it would be difficult for him to achieve the effortless ease Sayu had described.

And that report was already several years old.

"Huh?! What did you just say?! (Σ(?Д?|||)"

Thoma was so shocked his jaw nearly hit the wooden floor, his normally composed demeanor completely vanishing.

Although Kamisato Ayato spent most of his days buried beneath mountains of paperwork and gave off more of a scholarly impression than that of a warrior, those within the clan knew the truth.

His swordsmanship ranked among the finest in all of Inazuma.

For the head of the Kamisato Clan himself to admit that he was far inferior to someone else...

Just what kind of monster was Kamisato Satoru?

"There’s no need to be so surprised. That man’s strength may not quite have reached the Raiden Shogun’s world-shattering level, but I doubt the gap is all that large."

"At the very least, in terms of the level of his existence, he has unquestionably stepped into the terrifying realm of the gods’ familiars."

Ayato sighed with deep emotion.

Thoma’s Adam’s apple bobbed with difficulty as he swallowed hard, trying to digest the bombshell that had just been dropped on him.

That constantly smiling Young Master Kamisato who spent his days wandering idly around the Yashiro Commission’s territory...

Was secretly powerful enough to contend with a divine familiar?

"All right, we’ll leave it at that for now. All I can do is silently pray that the guy doesn’t go out there and poke a hole through the sky."

Ayato shook his head helplessly.

Then, with an exceedingly discreet sleight of hand, he reached into his wide sleeve and somehow produced a cup of milk tea as if by magic.

He leisurely inserted the straw and took a satisfied sip.

As far as he was concerned, the situation was already set in stone.

The happiness brought by milk tea was far more tangible.

As for his eccentric elder brother, Kamisato Satoru...

He could leave that headache to the unfortunate people who were about to cross paths with him.

Besides, Ayato could use the opportunity as an excuse to give himself a bit of a break as well.

Over the years, Ayaka had helped shoulder a tremendous amount of tedious administrative work for him. She had genuinely exhausted herself.

A trip abroad would not necessarily be a bad thing.

And while she was at it, she could keep half an eye on that lunatic and stop him from going too far.

Ayato knew Kamisato Satoru far too well.

That man had never been the type to behave himself.

Calling him "free-spirited" was already putting it mildly.

If some fool was blind enough to go tugging at the tiger’s whiskers, the consequences would undoubtedly be miserable beyond description.

Waves crashed rhythmically against the hull of the ship.

"Ahh, this salty sea breeze feels amazing! Feels like my soul’s about to float right out of my body!"

A young man with a head of snow-white hair lounged casually against the railing of the merchant vessel, a devilish curve playing at the corners of his lips.

He looked utterly at ease.

A pitch-black blindfold covered his eyes horizontally.

Rather than making him seem gloomy, however, it only added a mysterious allure that made people curious about the face beneath it.

He wore a simple all-black casual outfit. The design itself was ordinary, yet it carried a sleek, understated sense of modern elegance.

"My precious Ayaka, how does it feel sneaking out of Inazuma for the first time? Doesn’t even the air smell sweeter?"

Kamisato Satoru turned his head and smiled at the breathtakingly beautiful girl beside him.

Kamisato Ayaka had a pair of clear gray-blue eyes reminiscent of a frozen lake. Beneath her signature straight-cut bangs, her silver-white hair was tied high into a ponytail.

The loose strands framing her face had been meticulously arranged, while the small beauty mark beneath the corner of her left eye added an extra touch of delicate charm.

She wore a haori that faded through shades of deep blue, paired with a long pleated skirt that swayed in the sea breeze. Intricate patterns of cherry blossoms and flowing water seemed almost alive across the fabric.

A light black breastplate protected her chest and abdomen, while the icy-blue Cryo Vision at her back radiated a faint chill.

Everything about her carried an air of refined elegance and dignified grace.

Every movement spoke of a noble young lady raised in the highest circles.

It was no wonder the people of Inazuma respectfully called her the "Shirasagi Himegimi."

"Brother Satoru, the scenery really is beautiful, but... is it truly all right for us to run off without telling anyone?"

A hint of unease showed between Ayaka’s brows, her beautiful eyes filled with concern.

"Relax. Your brother’s fists are plenty hard these days. Doesn’t matter who shows up—they’re not stopping me."

"Besides, I left Ayato a note. That brat’s best at cleaning up this kind of mess. All we need to do is enjoy ourselves."

Satoru waved a hand dismissively, signaling for her to loosen up.

Only he could see the translucent pale-blue technological panel floating in midair before him.

Kamisato Satoru could not help feeling a little emotional.

In his previous life, he had been nothing more than an ordinary wage slave living an unremarkable life.

Who could have imagined that after going to sleep one night, he would wake up having transmigrated to the continent of Teyvat?

And he had started with an absolutely unbeatable hand.

He had been reincarnated directly as the eldest son of the Kamisato Clan.

The system that had come with him was absurdly simple.

Aside from the most basic guidance functions, it did not even come with some artificial idiot he could chat with to relieve the boredom.
