"So you’ve finally come?"
The smile vanished from Kamisato Satoru’s face as his piercing gaze shot toward the distant horizon.
"ROAR—!"
Accompanied by a dragon’s roar so deafening it seemed capable of shattering eardrums, Stormterror Dvalin descended amid raging hurricanes, rapidly closing in on Mondstadt.
"Quick, hide! The monster’s coming!"
At the sound of that nightmarish roar, the citizens in the streets immediately descended into chaos. Everyone abandoned whatever they were doing and fled toward their homes in panic.
"Waaah!"
Stormterror circled directly above Mondstadt.
Every beat of its enormous wings spawned several terrifying tornadoes out of thin air between the narrow streets, violently tearing at everything around them.
Roof tiles and even potted plants from the flower beds were swept dozens of meters into the sky. The entire scene looked like the end of the world.
Kamisato Satoru couldn’t help marveling inwardly.
As expected of the Anemo Archon’s familiar. Its ability to manipulate the weather really isn’t something an ordinary monster can compare to.
"Ugh. I knew this would happen."
Watching the chaos overhead, Kamisato Satoru helplessly slapped a hand against his forehead.
Sure enough, Kamisato Ayaka and Lumine had failed to evade in time and were sucked straight into the sky by a powerful tornado.
At the foot of the city wall, Amber anxiously stamped her feet, unable to think of any way to rescue them.
Lumine’s uncanny talent for attracting trouble truly was something else. Wherever she went, disaster followed.
Whoosh!
Without the slightest hesitation, Kamisato Satoru blurred into motion and shot toward the heavens, piercing through the thick clouds in an instant.
He knew perfectly well that his little sister didn’t have Lumine’s protagonist halo as the chosen one protecting her. If Ayaka really got hurt from a fall, he would never forgive himself.
"ROAR—!"
Stormterror had clearly noticed the two unwelcome guests gliding above it and opened its enormous jaws in fury.
Immediately afterward, several concentrated torrents of Anemo, sharp as blades, slashed violently toward Ayaka and Lumine.
Shhk—whoosh!
Relying on their extraordinary reflexes, the two narrowly dodged the deadly attack in midair.
With that terrifying power, even being grazed would probably be enough to slice someone into pieces.
"Hey, you overgrown lizard. Bullying my little sister right in front of me... Aren’t you looking down on me a little too much?"
Kamisato Satoru appeared in midair without warning, his voice terrifyingly cold.
"Brother?!"
"Kamisato Satoru?!"
Kamisato Ayaka and Lumine turned their heads simultaneously in alarm and saw the figure standing effortlessly in midair.
By now, Kamisato Satoru had slowly removed his black blindfold, revealing his extraordinarily handsome face.
But what truly stunned the two girls were his eyes.
Those "Eyes of Heaven" were as deep as the boundless sky, radiating an ethereal azure glow. Their beauty was utterly mesmerizing.
Kamisato Satoru gave Ayaka and Lumine a slight nod.
With the perception granted by those eyes, he could tell that the winds surrounding the two girls weren’t entirely natural.
Presumably, Barbatos was hiding somewhere and secretly lending them a hand.
BANG!
Kamisato Satoru couldn’t be bothered with that alcoholic god.
With a single teleport, he appeared directly in front of Stormterror’s enormous head.
Then he swung his fist.
Violent Cursed Energy erupted between his fingers as black-and-red lightning instantly coiled around his fist.
Under the skies of Teyvat, he unleashed an exceedingly rare—
Black Flash.
"ROOOAR—!"
Even Stormterror Dvalin, powerful as it was, let out an agonized howl after taking the punch head-on.
Its enormous body was blasted clean out of Mondstadt like a kite with its string cut.
Drops of ominous dark-purple dragon blood rained from the sky, scattering across the forest below.
"Oh, my poor Dvalin..."
Hidden from sight, Barbatos watched the scene with such heartache that the corners of his mouth twitched.
Still, he could tell that Kamisato Satoru had held back. The man clearly had no intention of actually killing the dragon.
"Pretty tough hide. You can really take a beating!"
Kamisato Satoru casually rolled his wrist.
Then his figure exploded forward once again, moving so fast that piercing sonic booms erupted through the air behind him.
He hadn’t even used half his strength in that Black Flash.
When something could be solved with his fists, he’d never been in the habit of reasoning with it.
Before the Six Eyes that saw through everything, every one of Stormterror’s offensive intentions was laid completely bare.
This wasn’t a battle at all.
It was a one-sided beatdown.
BANG!
"ROAR!"
BANG! BANG! BANG!
"AWOOO—!"
For a moment, Lumine and Ayaka could only stare dumbfounded as they continued gliding through the sky.
What happened next almost made them want to laugh.
Kamisato Satoru was treating the enormous dragon like a punching bag, raining blow after blow down upon its body.
