Jiang University had three football fields, and the most remote one was at least a half-hour walk from Zhang Fan’s dormitory.

Of course, the one they’d agreed to meet at was that very field.

After a quick wash, Zhang Fan packed her ID and other important belongings into her backpack and kept them by her side.Full novel: Get Rich Watching Videos, What’s Wrong With Lying Flat? — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

As for her bedding, clothes, and such—she didn’t want them anymore. She’d find a place today and move out.

If renovations were needed, she’d stay at a hotel first. Either way, she didn’t want to sleep in the dorm again.

When she arrived at the football field, she saw a few students from the sports department training.

Jiang University had plenty of campus beauties and plenty of campus heartthrobs, and the sports department accounted for more than half of them.

Zhang Fan sat down in the stands, watching the youth and hormones sprinting across the field.

She took out her phone and called the number from before, only to hear a ringtone coming from the steps not far away.

A boy wearing a red-and-white headband ran over, pulled a phone from his bag, and waved it at Zhang Fan.

When she saw who it was, her instinct was to leave.

Qin Jiawei!

Early in the morning, there were already over a dozen underclassmen girls sitting in the stands, skipping their morning study sessions just to watch him train.

Seeing that she hadn’t moved, Qin Jiawei took a long stride and came over to her side: “It’s you—we meet again!”

Heh…

Under enormous pressure, Zhang Fan stood up: “Take a look—do you recognize whose phone this is?”

Qin Jiawei didn’t answer right away. He tilted his head back and gulped down some water, sweat trickling down his neck, drawing one’s gaze involuntarily to the muscles on his body.

“Heh…” He capped the water bottle and smiled: “Hand it over—let me take a look!”

She handed him the phone, and he took it, their fingertips brushing together in passing, exchanging each other’s warmth.

He was so hot; she was so cold.

Qin Jiawei caught a flicker of fluster in her eyes and chuckled softly. He flipped the phone over, looked at the case, and instantly knew whose it was.

He called the owner with his own phone: “Ye Xueyan, did you break someone’s phone?”

“Mmm…”

A groggy voice came through the line, as if he hadn’t fully woken up yet.

“Did you get it fixed? If it’s fixed, hurry up and bring it to the football field—someone’s waiting for it!”

“Oh…”

From the sound of that voice, it was hard to tell whether he’d even heard.

“Heh, he probably stayed up all night and hasn’t woken up yet.”

Qin Jiawei smiled casually: “Save his number. When he wakes up, you can contact him then!”

“Oh, thanks!”

Zhang Fan entered the number into her phone and glanced at Qin Jiawei with slight awkwardness, not knowing what else to say.

“By the way, when will you have more of that Panda Fur in stock?”

“That stuff? I’ve got some—I have it right now!”

Zhang Fan took off her backpack, pulled out a bunch of bottles, and set them on the steps: “I realized it sells pretty well, so I stocked up on more. I just picked them up this morning! They’re already labeled—every single one is clearly marked.”

In reality, it was that lunatic Ye Xueyan who’d spent the whole night binge-watching videos and produced over a hundred batches of Panda Fur.

“Wow, this should be more than enough!”

Qin Jiawei looked happily at the bottles in front of him, suddenly feeling that even without making plushies, just displaying them like this would look nice.

“I’ll take all of these. Where’s your payment QR code?”

“Forget it—it’s not worth much. Consider it a thank-you for helping me out this time!”

Zhang Fan slung her backpack on and hurried away, already sensing the murderous intent in those underclassmen girls’ eyes.

If she kept chatting, who knew what crazy things those women might do.

Watching her fleeing figure, Qin Jiawei smiled as if he found it quite amusing.

…

She had no idea when Ye Xueyan would wake up, but she figured there was no rush to find a place—she was already prepared to stay in a hotel anyway.

Zhang Fan arrived at the flea market again and set up her little stall.

She had swiped way too many items overnight, and quite a few of them were things she couldn’t possibly put out for sale.

Black stockings, white stockings, adult toys—and the most absurd of all, there was actually a mummy!

She didn’t even know where to dump that thing.

Luckily, she’d never swiped through any zombie movies, and Ye Xueyan’s interests didn’t seem to include them either. Otherwise, if a zombie ended up in her head, she’d be scared to death.

She laid out the items one by one, and now the headache was pricing them.

Cosplay performance outfits—ten bucks each!

Limited edition figurines—a hundred each. Would anyone even want them?

Actor-worn replica accessories—five bucks each!

…

Once the prices were set and the payment QR code was propped up, she could hide behind the sign and scroll through her phone.

She looked at housing listings. She liked those standalone villas—was that a bit too greedy, wanting more after getting a little?

But what was wrong with being greedy?

Think about it—no tax on dreams!

She scrolled through pictures of villas, liking so many of them.

Especially those riverside villas. If she could live in a place like that, she’d probably laugh in her sleep, right?

But villas in the suburbs started at three million, and in the city they were tens of millions. The down payment was way beyond her measly two hundred thousand.

Thinking about it now, staying in a hotel wasn’t so bad—no cleaning required!

Without the burden of a house, she could travel everywhere and enjoy food from all over!

Just as she was thinking that, her phone popped up with a news alert: a beautiful female travel buddy, hiking alone on the plateau, was devoured by wild wolves.

Alright then! Better save up for a villa and be a homebody!

“Whoa, where did you even get all this stuff?”

Qin Jiawei’s voice rang out. He had a towel draped around his neck, squatting in front of her stall, picking up a game figurine from the table.

“Do you know, if Ye Xueyan saw these, he’d go crazy! The same guy who smashed your phone!”

“Heh, are you done with training?”

Zhang Fan poked half her head out from behind the sign: “Um, are you heading back to the dorm now? If you see Ye… Xueyan, tell him I’m waiting for him here. If he likes the figurines, I can give him a discount!”

“You’re selling them this cheap, and you can still discount them?”

Qin Jiawei looked incredulous: “This limited edition one in my hand—do you know what the official price is? 1,699! Yours is authentic, with the authenticity sticker. Are you sure you want to sell it for a hundred and still give a discount?”

“That expensive?”

Zhang Fan stood up from her seat and took the figurine from his hand to look at it: “This little thing costs over a thousand?”

“Is this even really yours?” Qin Jiawei’s gaze carried a hint of curiosity.

“I got it for a really cheap price…”

Zhang Fan looked a bit guilty. She really couldn’t do anything right—why didn’t she think to check the prices?

But there were several hundred figurines like this in the Spatial Warehouse, and with all the other miscellaneous items, over ten thousand pieces total. How was she supposed to check them all?

“You can’t keep doing this!”

Qin Jiawei glanced at the items spread out on the stall—there was truly a bit of everything, giving it the feel of a junkyard, yet all of these things were brand new.

“Don’t just accept everything; it’ll bring you trouble.”

He wrapped up the tablecloth Zhang Fan had used for the stall and carried it in his hand: “Come with me. I’ll take you to find Ye Xueyan. These things of yours really aren’t suitable for selling here.”
