“Is this really okay?”

“Don’t worry, our dorm matron is really nice!”

Qin Jiawei carried Zhang Fan’s cloth bag, exchanged a few words with the dorm matron, and even took a small hairpin from the bag to give her, charming the matron into a fit of giggles.Full novel: Get Rich Watching Videos, What’s Wrong With Lying Flat? — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Come on in!” He waved at Zhang Fan.

She was really going in?

Zhang Fan looked back around her. These female fans were absolutely insane—they’d followed her all the way here!

If she so much as set one foot into the boys’ dormitory, wouldn’t these women tear her apart?

She hesitated for a moment, then suddenly remembered that she wouldn’t be staying at school much longer anyway. Once she stepped through the school gates, the sky was high and the sea was wide—what could these women possibly do to her?

A clear conscience fears no midnight knocking.

She had nothing to be ashamed of, so what was there to fear?

With that thought, she squared her shoulders and walked in.

And immediately chickened out the moment she stepped inside!

Walking down the boys’ dormitory hallway for the first time, Zhang Fan kept her head lowered the entire way, terrified of being seen.

Actually, she wasn’t in that much of a hurry to get her phone back. Could she just turn around now?

A knock sounded, and Qin Jiawei called out Ye Xueyan’s name. Seeming to notice Zhang Fan’s discomfort, he reassured her:

“It’s fine, he’s the only one in his room. Everyone else is either doing internships or went home—none of them are around.”

As he spoke, the door opened.

Ye Xueyan was wearing a pair of One Piece patterned shorts, yawning with his eyes still closed: “Who is it?”

His six-pack abs rose and fell with each breath, the lines exceptionally defined.

Zhang Fan stared wide-eyed, not knowing whether to look or look away.

If she looked, it was a bit embarrassing. If she didn’t look, it would seem like she had impure thoughts. The guy was just showing some skin—what was there to be shy about?

But her tightly pressed lips and the blush creeping up her cheeks betrayed her anyway.

“Whoa, how is there a woman here?”

Ye Xueyan opened his eyes, and the moment he saw Zhang Fan, he snapped fully awake and retreated behind the door.

“Heh!”

Qin Jiawei had no intention of saving his dignity. He pushed the door open and walked in on his own: “You smashed this girl’s phone last night without leaving any information. She had no choice but to have me help her find you here!”

With that, he set the cloth bag on the table and sat down leisurely.

“So it’s you?”

Ye Xueyan had put on his clothes by now. Seeing Zhang Fan still standing at the door like a quail, he smiled and invited her in.

“Your phone is already fixed—I pieced it together using my old phone and your original parts. But I noticed your phone has a lot of problems. I ran some tests on it last night, and it’s even worse than the old phone I threw away.

So I wanted to ask you: I can replace all the internal components and keep only the original shell. Or you can just use it as is, but there’s a risk of combustion or explosion.”

Following his gaze, she saw her phone on the table, still playing videos, with a mechanical arm swiping the screen continuously.

No wonder the System’s notification sounds were still ringing in her head—so this was how he was testing the phone!

“Look at this—the temperature of the phone, and the lag… I can’t stand it.”

It really was laggy. A swipe took about three seconds to respond.

“I’ll just use it as is.”

Zhang Fan looked at the repaired phone with indescribable tenderness in her eyes, as if gazing at a loved one.

Ye Xueyan seemed to have expected this answer. He didn’t push or try to persuade her, simply taking the phone off the stand and handing it to Zhang Fan.

“Again, I’m really sorry, I don’t know what I can do to compensate you…”

“No need, no need!”

Zhang Fan quickly waved her hands: “It was an accident, no one wanted that to happen. I’m already grateful you could fix it for me. Oh, I heard you like figurines, and I happen to have one!”

She opened her cloth bag and, from a pile of miscellaneous goods, pulled out a figurine: “Look, something like this—do you like it?”

“Whoa!”

Ye Xueyan’s eyes widened in delight: “I’ve tried to grab this so many times and never got it—where did you get it?”

He held the figurine up to his eyes as if it were a treasure, his mouth nearly hanging open: “You’re not actually giving this to me, are you? That’d be so embarrassing!”

“Dream on!”

Qin Jiawei leaned back in his chair and nudged him with his foot: “She’s selling it at her stall. Original price 1,699—I’ll give you a discount, 1,700. Generous enough, right?”

“Huh?” Ye Xueyan blinked in surprise, then quickly nodded: “More than enough, more than enough! Give me a code, I’ll transfer the money to you!”

“Um… actually…”

Zhang Fan wanted to say there was no need for that much, but her hand went empty as Qin Jiawei snatched her phone away: “Here, scan it quick!”

1,700 arrived in her account in the blink of an eye, and she stood there completely stunned—how could anyone operate like this?

“Don’t feel sorry for him. He’s so rich he’s got nothing but money!”

Qin Jiawei handed the phone back to Zhang Fan: “Forget 1,700—he once offered 5,000 to buy it and no one would sell to him. Look how happy he is now!”

Indeed, Ye Xueyan was grinning so wide his gums were showing.

Fine then, as long as he had money to spare.

“Thank you both!” Zhang Fan gave an awkward smile and picked up her cloth bag: “I won’t bother you any longer. Goodbye!”

“Wait!” Qin Jiawei pinched the hem of her clothes with two fingers and pulled her back: “We finally ran into a sucker—we’ve got to take advantage while we can!”

He opened the entire cloth bag, spread it out on the table, and tilted his chin toward Ye Xueyan: “Heh heh!”

“What?”

Ye Xueyan looked down at the table, and his eyes instantly went wide: “Where did you get all this stuff? How is it all exactly what I like? It feels like someone moved my own warehouse out here!”

Everything you’ve been spawning, of course—if it doesn’t cater to your tastes, whose would it cater to?

Aside from a few small trinkets, he pulled out all the anime merchandise, along with that cosplayer’s costume: “Sell it all to me—name your price!”

“We’re all so familiar with each other, so I’ll give you a bundle price…”

Qin Jiawei could see Zhang Fan was having trouble speaking up, so he answered for her directly: “100,000!”

What?

Zhang Fan’s jaw nearly dropped. A few little trinkets for 100,000? She wasn’t a robber!

“Um… no need…”

She tried to speak, but Qin Jiawei stopped her with a look.

Ye Xueyan hesitated for a moment, then took out his phone and made a call: “Mom, transfer me 200,000! Yeah, yeah, yeah, got it! I’ll be back, I’ll definitely be back! Just send the money first, good!”

Before long, a transfer notification popped up on his phone, and then he really did transfer 100,000 to Zhang Fan!

Staring at the number in her account, Zhang Fan felt like she was in a dream.

Even after walking out of the dormitory building, she still wondered if she was dreaming. She pinched herself—ouch, it hurt!

200,000 in two days turned into 300,000!

Was she about to get rich?

Amid her joy, she remembered what Qin Jiawei had said—that casually selling whatever the System spawned would indeed bring her trouble.

But all this miscellaneous stuff—if I don’t set up a stall to sell it, am I just going to keep stuffing it into the Spatial Warehouse?

It takes up so much space, and it’s hard to find anything when I need it!
