Even among the gods, there were clear distinctions in strength.

According to Theron’s own classification, divine power was divided into five levels:

Weak Divine Power, Lesser Divine Power, Intermediate Divine Power, Greater Divine Power, and Supreme Divine Power (Creation).Full novel: Greek Mythology: The True God of Fate — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

At present, Theron was undoubtedly a god of Weak Divine Power.

Primordial Gods such as Gaia and Nyx possessed power that surpassed Greater Divine Power, yet they still fell short of the realm of Creation.

As for Uranus, God of the Sky, Pontus, God of the Sea, the Three Fates, and the other deities born from Primordial Gods such as Gaia and Nyx, they entered the world with Intermediate Divine Power.

As the world continued to evolve, they would gradually ascend to Greater Divine Power.

Only Chaos itself—the world—possessed the true power of Creation.

For a deity to reach that realm, they had to earn the world’s recognition.

That recognition was known as…

The King of the Gods.

Aside from the few Primordial Gods who possessed little individuality, no deity could remain indifferent to the throne of the King of the Gods.

It represented the power of Creation itself.

Absolute authority.

Absolute strength.

Uranus was no exception.

Ever since hearing Theron’s prophecy, his heart had burned with desire, despite the fact that the prophecy had come from a weak deity he had initially looked down upon.

The only thing he did not know was how one became the King of the Gods.

Nor did he know how to earn the world’s acknowledgment.

The answer came when his twelve children with Gaia were born.

The Laws of the world resonated.

New authorities emerged one after another.

The Ocean.

Light.

Memory.

Justice.

Harvest.

Time…

A total of twelve new Laws were born, along with twelve new gods—six sons and six daughters.

With their arrival, the world became even more complete.

At that very moment, Uranus heard the will of the world.

He received the great divine authority of Patriarchy.

His divine power instantly surged, rising to an entirely new level.

Only then did Uranus understand why Theron’s prophecy had connected the birth of his children with his ascension to the throne.

The newborn gods were all his children.

Naturally…

He became the King of the Gods.

The world itself had placed the crown upon his head.

Even so, he still could not understand how such a weak deity had foreseen everything.

Yet the facts stood before him.

He had lost their wager.

Looking toward Gaia, who had just given birth, he saw the same disbelief reflected in her eyes.

“Perhaps we should visit that honored one again,” Gaia said softly.

“We should apologize for doubting him…

and acknowledge our defeat.”

“He accurately foretold the birth of our children, your ascension as King of the Gods, and my becoming Queen of the Gods.”

“Such prophetic power is truly extraordinary.”

After a moment’s thought, Uranus nodded.

“Invite him to our celebration.”

“We should properly thank him.”

Gaia smiled gently.

“Indeed.

A day as significant as this deserves a grand celebration.”

“I shall personally invite him.”

“It will also give him the opportunity to witness this historic moment.”

“My beautiful Queen of the Gods…”

“You are always so thoughtful.”

Uranus looked at Gaia with unmistakable affection.

The two stood together, their intimacy evident to everyone present.

The twelve newborn gods knew nothing of what had transpired.

Under the influence of the authority of Patriarchy, none dared question Uranus directly.

Instead, they quietly speculated among themselves.

From what little they had overheard, someone had foreseen not only their births…

But also Uranus’s ascension as King of the Gods and Gaia’s coronation as Queen of the Gods.

What sort of existence possessed such incredible power?

What kind of deity could see so deeply into fate?

When Gaia personally brought Theron to the sacred mountain…

Every one of them was stunned.

Their expectations shattered instantly.

He was…

Far too weak.

So weak that even they, despite having only just been born, felt they could defeat him effortlessly.

His body, woven from divine law, even appeared slightly translucent, as though it had not completely solidified.

Could such a god truly perceive fate?

It was difficult to believe.

No wonder Father and Mother had doubted him before.

Then again…

The divine authority of Prophecy did not appear particularly suited for combat.

Perhaps weakness was only natural.

The young gods silently reached the same conclusion, continuing to observe without daring to interrupt.

Theron stepped forward and offered a respectful bow.

“I greet Your Majesty, King of the Gods.”

High upon the divine throne, Uranus smiled.

Compared to their previous meeting, his bearing had changed completely.

His every word carried supreme majesty, reflecting the immense divine authority he now possessed.

“It has been some time, honored Prophet, God of Prophecy.”

“Please forgive our earlier discourtesy.”

“Fate is an elusive thing.”

“Before it unfolds, even those involved cannot imagine it coming to pass.”

“Even I failed to perceive it.”

Unlike before, Uranus spoke with genuine respect.

Although he was now incomparably stronger than during their last meeting, he had personally witnessed the terrifying accuracy of prophecy.

Theron smiled calmly.

His mood was excellent.

Not only had his divine power increased…

He had also obtained a physical body.

That only strengthened his resolve to continue guiding fate forward.

He still had not been fully accepted by this world.

Perhaps Chaos continued to reject him because he was a soul from another world, leaving his body slightly unreal.

But…

On a certain level, the King of the Gods represented the will of the world itself.

If the world refused to acknowledge him…

Then he would simply make the King of the Gods acknowledge him instead.

“Your Majesty need not concern yourself.”

“It is my honor to witness the birth of Chaos’s first King of the Gods.”

“Your ascension was the will of the world.”

“I merely glimpsed one fragment of fate.”

“The first…

King of the Gods?”

Gaia immediately caught the subtle wording.

Her brows furrowed.

Uranus’s eyes also darkened.

The twelve newborn gods sensed the shift in atmosphere, and unease spread among them.

Theron seemed completely oblivious to their reactions.

Instead, he continued with sincere admiration.

“Your Majesty is truly magnificent.”

“The world has become more prosperous because of your existence.”

“Highness Theron.”

Uranus gently interrupted him.

“As for our wager…”

“We acknowledge our defeat.”

“As promised, I shall grant you one request.”

“Have you decided what you desire?”

Seeing Theron remain silent in thought, Uranus continued as though speaking casually.

“If you have not yet made up your mind…”

“You may take your time.”

“I have another prophecy I wish to request.”

“If you agree…”

“You may name your condition afterward.”

“I shall grant you the greatest possible leniency and fulfill any request within my power.”

The corners of Theron’s lips lifted almost imperceptibly.

He knew Uranus had taken the bait.

Even so, he deliberately pretended to ponder the matter for a long time before finally nodding.

“It would be my honor, Your Majesty.”

“What is it you wish to know?”

Uranus fixed his gaze upon Theron.

Then, slowly and deliberately, he asked,

“Wise Prophet…”

“In the future of this world…”

“Will I remain the eternal King of the Gods?”

“Will I…”

“Rule this world forever?”

The moment those words fell…

The entire divine palace became deathly silent.

Worry flashed across Gaia’s face.

The twelve young gods all turned toward Theron.

Each wore a different expression.

Because everyone understood…

It was a question with no safe answer.
