BOOM!!

Poseidon and Hades abandoned all attempts to conceal their auras.

Like twin meteors, they crashed into the flank of the monster army.Full novel: Greek Mythology: True God Of The Sea Poseidon — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Azure waves of divine power and jet-black shadows of death erupted simultaneously, instantly carving a path through the enemy ranks.

Countless monsters were reduced to dust amid agonized screams.

“Enemy attack!!” The monster army reacted immediately.

But Poseidon and Hades had no interest in the lesser monsters.

Their target was Kampe herself.

“ROAR!!” “Who dares trespass upon this forbidden land?!” All of Kampe’s beastly heads roared in unison.

Despite her enormous size, she moved with astonishing agility.

She spun around instantly, swinging her colossal axe while her massive chains whipped through the air with enough force to tear space itself.

Bang!

Clang!

Their attacks were blocked head-on.

Kampe’s human eyes swept over the two intruders before narrowing.

“That aura…” “It’s you!” “The traitorous offspring of Lord Kronos!” “Blue-haired Poseidon…” “And black-haired Hades!” She recognized them immediately.

Without hesitation, she ordered the surrounding monsters to encircle them, sealing every possible escape route.

“Since you’ve delivered yourselves to me…” “Don’t even think about leaving!” “Once I capture the two of you, Lord Kronos will reward me handsomely!” With every step forward, Kampe’s attacks became increasingly ferocious.

Victory already seemed certain in her mind.

Her confidence wasn’t without reason.

For ten straight years she had guarded Tartarus without ever leaving her post.

Although she had heard reports from the battlefield describing the strength of Kronos’s rebellious children… She had never fought them herself.

In her eyes, the advantages all belonged to her.

She held the terrain.

She possessed overwhelming numbers.

And she had absolute confidence in her own strength.

Capturing—or even killing—them seemed entirely possible.

Meanwhile… Poseidon and Hades quietly continued their performance.

They fought as though they were just strong enough to force Kampe to fight seriously… Yet appeared to be slowly losing ground.

While exchanging blows, they deliberately retreated little by little, luring Kampe and the bulk of her army farther away from Tartarus.

Everything had to look convincing.

The battle needed to appear desperate enough that Kampe wouldn’t suspect a thing… While remaining carefully controlled so they neither became genuinely surrounded nor ended the fight too quickly.

Rumble… A deep tremor echoed from the direction of Tartarus.

It sounded as though something unimaginably heavy had struck the Bronze Gates.

Fortunately… Gaia’s divine power concealed every vibration, preventing it from escaping into the outside world.

⸻ Meanwhile… Zeus silently observed everything.

He waited patiently.

He had to wait until Poseidon and Hades had drawn Kampe—and nearly all of her forces—far enough away.

Only then… Would his opportunity arrive.

Finally— The moment Kampe committed the overwhelming majority of her army to trapping Poseidon and Hades… Zeus moved.

Like a bolt of lightning, he appeared before the Bronze Gates of Tartarus.

From within his robes, he produced the key Gaia had secretly provided.

Forged from Kronos’s own divine power, it fit perfectly into the ancient lock.

Click… Click… Clack… The immense Bronze Gates slowly swung open.

The first figures Zeus saw were the three Cyclopes.

Each towered like a mountain.

Their single enormous eyes glowed within the darkness, filled with primal strength and countless years of suppressed fury.

Farther inside stood even more terrifying beings.

The Hecatoncheires.

Their forms resembled living nightmares.

Fifty heads.

One hundred mighty arms.

Every face bore a different expression.

Yet all of them radiated the same overwhelming hatred toward Kronos.

Each arm possessed enough power to tear mountains apart.

“You must be Zeus.” “Mother told us about you.” “Yes…” “Mother said you would become the hero who frees us from this endless darkness…” As a hundred voices echoed together, Zeus felt an involuntary chill.

Even so… He quickly composed himself.

Time was precious.

He needed to earn their trust immediately.

“Yes!” “I am Zeus!” “Grandson of Uranus and Gaia!” “Son of Kronos and Rhea!” Golden lightning enveloped his body as he stood tall, projecting the confidence and dignity expected of a leader.

“By the will of Mother Earth, Gaia…” “I have come to free you!” “I ask that you lend us your strength.” “Help us overthrow the tyrant Kronos…” “End this meaningless war…” “And establish a new order for the world!” The giants fell silent.

Then one after another, they spoke.

“Kronos…” “That despicable usurper…” “The wretch who imprisoned his own brothers…” “So long as we can strike that hateful younger brother…” “…we’ll do anything.” “But we’ve remained imprisoned for far too long.” “Our strength has greatly diminished.” “I’m afraid we cannot immediately fight at full power.” Without hesitation, Zeus opened his storage space.

Inside were carefully prepared divine delicacies… Along with priceless Ambrosia and Nectar capable of rapidly restoring divine bodies.

“Please.” “Accept these.” “I prepared them specifically for all of you.” “I know it’s terribly rude to ask for your help immediately after freeing you…” “But the battle outside has reached a critical point.” “My sister Hera is still leading our army.” “Every bit of strength matters.” “I beg you.” He respectfully placed the food and divine wine before the imprisoned giants.

The Hecatoncheires and Cyclopes stared at the feast.

Their many eyes brightened.

After countless years of imprisonment… They hungered not only for food… But for vengeance.

“Oh…” “You actually brought treasures like these…” “We can see your sincerity.” “Just as the Cyclopes said…” “In this cursed prison…” “The only thing we’ve dreamed of…” “…is tearing that bastard Kronos apart.” Their hatred had long surpassed every other emotion.

Even if exhausting themselves meant becoming weak afterward… Even if it meant risking everything… As long as they could overthrow Kronos… They would gladly pay the price.

“Then please…” “Recover your strength.” “I’ll deal with Kampe outside.” Zeus spoke urgently.

“…Kampe…” “The giantess guarding this prison…” At the mention of her name, the giants exchanged complicated looks.

“She is still Kronos’s loyal servant.” “That much hasn’t changed.” “But during our long imprisonment…” “She occasionally brought us food that wasn’t completely inedible.” “Even so…” “She remains our enemy.” “Still…” “Perhaps we don’t need to become as merciless as Kronos.” “Can her life be spared?” The giants debated briefly.

In the end… The majority agreed that Kampe should be spared.

Zeus nodded respectfully.

“I understand.” “I’ll honor your wishes.” “Then I’ll go help my brothers.” Before the final words had fully left his mouth… Zeus transformed into a streak of lightning and shot back through the Bronze Gates toward the battlefield.

As he spotted Poseidon and Hades still “struggling” against Kampe, he shouted across the battlefield— “Poseidon!” “Hades!” “Stop acting!” “Attack!!” —————- Hello, My dear readers MisterFic here.
