As Kronos let out one final roar filled with endless hatred, violent fluctuations of space and time erupted around him.

In a battered and disheveled state, he fled into the heavens.

With his retreat, the suffocating pressure that had blanketed the battlefield gradually faded, leaving only devastation in its wake.Full novel: Greek Mythology: True God Of The Sea Poseidon — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Half-destroyed palaces, shattered earth, clouds scattered by the clash of divine power… and the wounds covering their bodies.

Poseidon and Hades, who had served as the main attackers, bore the worst injuries.

The corrosive aura of the Reaper’s divine authority still lingered around their wounds, slowing their recovery.

Zeus and Metis stood frozen in place, their faces still filled with shock and disbelief after witnessing the earth-shattering battle.

Even Rhea, the well-informed Titan Queen, could not hide her astonishment.

Watching the unimaginable power displayed by her five children, she parted her lips slightly, her eyes filled with emotions too complicated to describe.

Victory had been claimed in a way that completely defied the original course of myth.

According to the original threads of fate, this should have been the defining moment when Zeus, through wisdom and courage, defeated Kronos and established himself as the leader of the new generation of gods.

But because of the chain reaction caused by the “anomaly” known as Poseidon, he and his siblings had become powerful enough to force a fully empowered God King into retreat through their own strength.

“Uh… well…” Zeus finally snapped out of his daze.

Suppressing the turmoil in his heart, he prepared to carry out the plan he had made beforehand.

“The divine power of all my older brothers and sisters is truly incredible.

As your younger brother, I… feel greatly reassured.

Although our evil father has been driven back, his forces remain and will never surrender willingly.

We should gather our strength immediately, unite all those willing to resist his tyranny, and prepare for an all-out war against the Titans!” According to the plan he had devised with Metis and Rhea, the next step was naturally for him—the “prophesied savior” and the youngest brother—to unite the resistance and logically assume command of the allied forces.

With Rhea’s support, Metis’s guidance, and Gaia’s tacit approval, Zeus believed that no matter how powerful his siblings were, they would ultimately accept his leadership in the name of justice and family.

“Oh?

So there’s actually someone even more ill-mannered than Poseidon.” Hades was the first to respond, exactly as expected.

“The blond one.

Whoever you are… what makes you think we should obey your orders and march off to war?” At some point, he had wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth.

Once again, faint black mist enveloped him, leaving only a pair of eyes colder than the deepest abyss fixed quietly upon Zeus.

Hades possessed an almost instinctive obsession with status and authority.

Being forced to swallow his pride in front of his own family was one thing.

But before outsiders?

He would never tolerate anyone placing themselves above him—especially this so-called younger brother who had suddenly appeared and begun acting as though command naturally belonged to him.

“Tsk… dragging me into this again.” Poseidon casually scratched his ear, sounding completely unconcerned.

“But for all his terrible manners, he’s got a point.

War is definitely coming.

That old bastard’s expression when he ran made it obvious he was going to gather reinforcements.” “The real issue is that this lady…” He glanced at Metis before shifting his gaze toward Rhea.

“…and our ‘mother’ whom we’ve only just met, both seem determined to make our youngest brother the one calling the shots.” For once, Hera didn’t lose her temper.

She simply folded her arms across her chest, her crimson eyes drifting toward Zeus before sweeping over Rhea and Metis beside him.

“But he deliberately emphasized the words ‘our first meeting mother.'” The sarcasm and emotional distance in those words couldn’t have been more obvious.

Hestia merely smiled gently without saying anything.

Demeter also remained quietly silent.

Hera’s restraint likely stemmed from the overwhelming divine power Rhea had displayed earlier—strength sufficient to match even her own—as well as the awkward reality of confronting the mother she had only just met.

Hades seemed to be in much the same state, his expression hidden beneath the swirling black mist.

As for Poseidon, perhaps because of the memories from his previous life, he wasn’t particularly concerned with who ended up leading them.

His attitude was much closer to Hestia’s and Demeter’s.

Wait and see.

There was no need to choose a side just yet.

Sensing the increasingly tense atmosphere, Rhea let out a quiet sigh before stepping between the clearly confrontational Hera and Hades.

“Seeing all of you safe… and so powerful… fills me with joy as your mother.” “But perhaps family reunions and serious discussions should wait until we’re somewhere safer.” “Kronos has ruled this place for countless years.

His loyal guards could arrive at any moment.” As the Queen of the Titans, Rhea perfectly displayed the diplomacy of a seasoned ruler.

She understood that allowing Zeus to continue arguing with these two rebellious older siblings would only deepen the divide between them.

If she could first bring everyone to the stronghold she and Zeus had prepared, at least the situation would be more favorable to their side.

A short while later, under Rhea’s spatial transfer spell, the scenery around them blurred.

When it stabilized again, everyone found themselves inside a vast tent.

This was clearly the carefully prepared headquarters of the resistance army.

Divine runes glowed faintly along the tent walls, forming a barrier that isolated the interior from the outside world.

Many figures had already gathered within.

Their auras varied in strength, but nearly all of them carried the same sharp determination to resist—and the same fragile hope for the future.

Among them were several figures whose names would one day become legendary throughout Greek mythology.

Styx, the solemn goddess who presided over the sacred River Styx, stood with an expression as cold as iron.

Beside her were her powerful children: Kratos, the God of Strength, and Bia, the Goddess of Force.

Nearby stood Prometheus, radiating an air of wisdom and foresight.

At his side was his younger brother, Epimetheus, who seemed perpetually a step behind, curiously looking around the tent.

There was also Helios, the radiant Sun God, his body surrounded by blazing golden light, alongside Selene, whose cool, tranquil presence was as serene as the moon itself.

“Welcome to our camp.” “For the moment, you are safe here.” Following Rhea’s guidance, Poseidon and his siblings entered the tent.

Immediately, every pair of eyes inside turned toward them.

Back on familiar ground, Zeus unconsciously straightened his back.

The confidence that had briefly wavered returned to his face.

Walking to the center of the tent, he swept his gaze across everyone present before lingering on his five older siblings.

“My fellow compatriots, everyone gathered here is a warrior who has chosen to resist Kronos’s tyranny.” “And I, Zeus, have been entrusted by everyone here to serve as the temporary commander of our allied forces.” “My brothers and sisters, you have only recently escaped your prison and may not yet understand the situation beyond it.” “Many Titans who have suffered beneath Kronos’s oppression, along with the benevolent and great Mother Earth, Gaia herself, have acknowledged my right to lead this righteous war.” Back on his own turf, Zeus was undeniably far more confident.
