“So, for the four shops I’ll leave it to you to find the lawyers and get my money back.” He stated as she nodded her head, taking out a notepad and inscribing the tasks at hand.
“For the docks, please have the lawyer verify that the land is still mine.
However, for the moment we won’t rebuild them.
I need to make more preparations in advance and see if there are people who would be interested in using them if I rebuild them.” He said as she nodded her head as she wrote about verifying the legality of everything although she doubted it changed with most laws being centuries old.
“For the magic beast island, Skokholm island, the two greenhouses and the magic tower, we will leave them sealed and hidden behind wards for the moment.
From what I understand, they can still hold for more than a few years.
I’ll go and visit them during next year’s break.
We don’t have enough time right now and it would be better that I do a proper reckoning of the place beforehand just in case they left some things behind.” He said as she nodded her head, fully agreeing with his words.
They were sites sealed for centuries, who knew what magical beasts or plants were hidden there not to mention that if there were any old magical items there that were already old at that time, they might be priceless with forgotten knowledge.
“Finally, for the mansions, we’ll keep them all closed for the moment and if I leave Hogwarts during the Christmas break I’ll go and visit the mansion in Dale.
I figure that there may be some magical traps or dangers hidden in a mansion sealed for centuries during a war and I would prefer having at least some basic knowledge of magic beforehand.” He completed as she nodded her head.
“There isn’t much to do for the moment, I’ll have the lawyers work on the few points you brought up, anything else?” She asked as she saw Lux get up, ready to leave.
“Not for the moment, I’ll write to you if there is anything I need.
Until then, I’ll leave the lawyer to you, write to me the moment you have news regarding the lawsuit.” He said as she nodded her head.
She would make sure this first job of hers would be perfectly completed.
Heading out of Gringotts, he rapidly bought some good-looking furniture before finally being ready to head back to his cave.
Looking around to confirm no one was watching him, he wasted no time.
“Circe’s home.”
Immediately, his suitcase, attached to his neck as a necklace, started swirling before, a few seconds later, he arrived in Dale.
Looking around as he had never yet used the portkey to this location, a smile appeared on his face.
“It’s actually a couple hundred meters from my cave.” He said, grinning as he slowly headed back, enjoying the calm summer breeze on his cheek, the salty smell of the ocean that constantly accompanied his life for the past few years calming his restless heart as the little bundle of joy hidden in the hem of his robes peaked out as she looked around cutely.
“I’ll bring you home, it won’t take long.” He said with a smile as she nodded her head.
It was worth noting that he had stopped at the Magical Menagerie to buy some pet food.
Although there was nothing for phoenixes, due to their certain rareness, the only two known tamed phoenixes being Dumbledore’s phoenix and the one from a certain quidditch team.
However, Lux had great suspicion that Ollivanders might also have a phoenix or at least a cooperation with one as otherwise, it was impossible to explain his large amount of phoenix feathers.
After all, he didn’t believe that the phoenix of the world’s greatest light mage would lower itself to give out hundreds of its feathers for wand making.
The steps were still quite slippery as he slowly made his way to his cave.
Thankfully, after years of experience, he had no problems and soon arrived in his small cave, the same cave he would spend the following months in research and training.
“How do you like the house, Aura?” Asked Lux, elated to have someone living with him after all those years.
Hearing the joyful tweet, he smiled in return as he went for his books, his little white phoenix staying on his shoulders as it looked curiously at what he was doing.
“I have about two and a half months remaining before the beginning of Hogwarts.
In this time, I must not only read everything related to nobility and magical customs but I also need to prepare for my courses and learn as much as possible from my books.” He decided with a nod of his head as he called upon his mastery panel from the Runic Lexicon.

“So.” Started Lux as he habitually talked to himself as he reviewed everything.
“My English mastery will gradually increase as I read more books and my knowledge of the Holy Phoenix will also improve as I spend more time with her, taking care of her.
Until then, let’s learn.”
In this way, the sun was gradually replaced by the night sky and once again replaced by the sun as the days went by, the hottest days of summer coming and fleeting as the end of August soon arrived.
In those months, his schedule had remained packed with studies, not allowing for himself to even take a day off in the best days of the summer as his books and little phoenix captivated his attention.
Getting up every day at six in the morning to eat and feed little Aura before heading out for his morning exercise, he would go back to his cave by eight thirty, ready to start his studies.
If the weather was good, he would remain outside for his reading.
From eight thirty to eleven, he would read the books about the history of magic, magical customs and noble privileges and rights, diving deeply in family relationships between houses to the current important members of said houses.
With studies over magic itself such as magical theory to the various spells taught in the first year along with transfiguration, he went by everything until four in the afternoon where he once again took a break of an hour to eat and play with Aura who would be otherwise bored.
From five to eight, he would turn towards the magical art of potion making, following the recipes in the school books with great concentration, mastering them as his level over the potions improved.
He didn’t start experimenting with Circe’s potions as they were obviously advanced compared to his current level.
He guessed that to properly prepare them without wasting a lot of materials, he would have to increase his potion making ranking by at least one or two grades.
Next, from eight to eleven, he would delve in the mind arts, especially occlumency since he had no way of training legilimency without a mind to invade and he wasn’t about to let Aura be his test subject.
Finally, he would spend a single hour, right before midnight, to study divination and see if he could have more visions which came and went with time.
While not always succeeding due to lack of time or simply not having enough mastery over the process, he could always see some vision which he took great care in properly recording, just in case it became useful one day.
The most important in those visions was to record them properly and if possible find the time the specific event in the divination happened.
Finally, at twelve, he would head to sleep only to wake up the following morning with Aura pecking him awake at six in the morning.
Of course, his schedule changed over time as his books about the magical world and nobles were fully understood and remembered, allowing him more time in his day to continue learning Futhorc, the very first magical art he truly trained along with the creation of some wards.
While he had no books for wards, his own dedication to the training allowed him to develop a few himself.
As such, as the evening of the 31st of August arrived, Lux stopped all of his studies, taking time to properly store everything he would bring with him to Hogwarts, especially the treats of Aura who specifically brought them to his suitcase just in case her master forgot them.
“Alright, one last look at my current mastery before we go to Hogwarts.” He decided as he had taken to not look too much into his mastery when he was learning since he had so much to learn and couldn’t waste time simply grinding the last bit of mastery as he would have access to much more resources once at Hogwarts.
