It wasn’t that Ternas was cold-blooded.

He simply had no idea how he could tell his parents about it.

After all, he was only a two-year-old child.Full novel: Harry Potter: Sacrifice of Worlds — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

There was nothing he could do.

Besides, he didn’t know the exact time or place.

Even if he wanted to tell them, he had no way of explaining it!

It wasn’t until a few days later, when his parents brought Neville to their home to raise him, that he finally learned what had happened.

Part of what had happened came from overhearing his parents’ conversations, while the rest was based on his own deductions.

From then on, Ternas had another playmate by his side, a somewhat slow and silly little fool named Neville.

After another three years had passed, which brought things to the present, Ternas lived together with his parents, grandmother, and the little fool Neville in the Longbottom family’s ancestral home.

It was a very old house.

From the outside, it looked like an ordinary two-story villa.

In Britain during this period, a house like this was nothing particularly unusual.

But one absolutely could not underestimate this house.

Inside, it contained an enormous amount of space.

That brought up one of the special things about this world: magic.

With magic, although the house looked ordinary on the outside, its interior had been expanded through the use of the Undetectable Extension Charm.

The Longbottom family also possessed quite a few properties and businesses.

Combined with the wealth accumulated by their ancestors, their family lived a very affluent life.

It was nowhere near as enormous as Malfoy Manor, but it was certainly not small either.

After five years of living together, Ternas and Neville had naturally grown extremely close, and the entire Longbottom family felt great sympathy for Neville because of what he had endured during his childhood.

Perhaps because Ternas existed as an unexpected variable, Algie, Ternas’s father, placed more of his expectations on him.

As a result, he was not nearly as demanding toward Neville as he had been in the original story.

Ternas also proved to be quite impressive.

Whether he was learning languages or memorizing the history of magic, he was exceptionally talented.

Although he could not reach the level of remembering everything after seeing it only once, he was not far from it.

This gave his family a very good start when it came to Ternas’s early education.

Of course, in contrast to this was Neville’s dullness and clumsiness.

However, with Ternas around, everyone was no longer particularly harsh toward Neville.

Instead, they had adopted an attitude of letting him develop freely and allowing things to take their natural course.

After all, Neville’s family had been devastated by what happened to his parents, and the trauma surrounding their condition had affected his upbringing, making it somewhat unreliable.

There was nothing that could be done about it, and it couldn’t really be blamed on Neville.

More importantly, having Ternas as his playmate made Neville work very hard as well.

Although most of his efforts amounted to little, everyone could still see just how hard Neville was trying.

This made everyone feel even more pity and affection toward Neville.

Although Ternas had never studied the Harry Potter novels in depth, he knew the general outline of the story.

He also knew that Neville was one of the very important supporting characters in Harry’s story.

Since Neville could become a supporting character, it went without saying that he must possess a talent of his own.

Ternas had never looked down on him.

Whenever he played with Neville, or rather, whenever he took care of him, Ternas would intentionally or unintentionally observe him.

Of course, the two of them were still just children at this point, so there was very little they could come into contact with.

The information they could obtain was also extremely limited.

That day, Ternas brought Neville to a locked room in the Longbottom ancestral home.

The door to this room had always remained tightly shut, and the family members had never allowed them to come here.

Driven by his curiosity about the magical world, Ternas had always wanted to explore the ancestral home.

And this time, their target was this very room.

He wanted to see what was actually stored inside.

“Ternas, is this really okay?

Grandma doesn’t let us come here.” Neville was somewhat timid as he spoke hesitantly.

Ternas didn’t pay much attention to Neville’s reaction.

Since whatever was stored here could be kept inside their ancestral home, even though it had been carefully sealed away, it definitely wasn’t something dangerous.

At most, it was probably some extremely valuable or powerful magical item.

Looking at it shouldn’t cause any problems.

“Alright, Neville, don’t worry.

There won’t be any danger inside.

We’re just going to take a look.

Nothing will happen.

Even if there is a problem, you can just say that I was the one who brought you here.” Ternas spoke with complete indifference.

Neville opened his mouth, wanting to persuade him again, but by then Ternas had already turned his attention back to the door, thinking about how he could open it.

He didn’t notice Neville’s reaction.

Seeing this, Neville said nothing more.

From childhood until now, he had always listened to Ternas and had never gone against him.

Since Ternas had already made up his mind, there was no point in saying anything more.

At worst, if something happened, the two of them could simply accept the punishment together.

While Neville was worrying, Ternas had run into a major problem.

For some reason, the door simply would not open, no matter what he did.

Even more strangely, there was no keyhole or anything resembling a lock on the door.

It didn’t even look like a locked door.

Faced with this situation, Ternas felt a headache coming on.

How exactly was he supposed to open it?

This adventure had been planned by him for a long time.

If he couldn’t even get through the door this time, he would be utterly embarrassed.

While Ternas racked his brain, desperately trying to figure out how to open the door in front of him, he failed to notice that an unknown fluctuation had begun spreading outward from him as its center.

As Ternas continued thinking, the fluctuation grew stronger and stronger.

Until, at a certain moment, this strange fluctuation finally erupted.

A mysterious force formed before Ternas.

Then, drawn by his unique power, that force surged toward the door in front of him.

A very faint sound rang beside Ternas’s ear.

Then, an incredibly magical scene appeared.

The door before him simply opened by itself, as though it had been opened out of thin air.

Without any external force acting upon it, it swung open before him.
