“Ah~~~” Adam stood up straight, stretching his arms upwards with force.

His body, somewhat stiff from sitting for a long time reading, let out a series of cracks.

He leaned forward across the desk and pushed open the window.Full novel: Hogwarts: White Demon King — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

A vast field of flowers came into view.

The afternoon sunlight spilled over the ridges, plating every petal with a warm glow.

The flower field spread along the gentle slopes like a shimmering river, quietly merging into the skyline.

The flitting of butterflies and bees was the most vivid rhythm in this tranquility.

A gentle breeze blew, and the petals swayed with the wind.

A small white cat was darting around aimlessly in the flower field.

It startled the fairies resting on the petals, sending them flying.

“Meow~~~” The small white cat would jump up from time to time, catching the fairies in the air with its two small paws.

But before it even landed, it would immediately let go.

And the fairies it caught would quickly fly away.

The small white cat played like this, catching and releasing, over and over again.

Standing by the window, Adam saw this and smiled slightly, his mood brightening considerably.

“Hoo hoo~~ Hoo hoo~~” Just then, the sound of a bird came from the sky.

An owl circled in the air a few times, as if confirming something, before flying towards Adam.

“Hoo hoo~~ Hoo hoo~~” The owl flew through the window into the room and landed on the desk.

Along with it, a letter dropped down.

Seeing the wax seal on the envelope, stamped with a crest consisting of a lion, a snake, a badger, an eagle, and an ‘H’ in the middle, a smile appeared at the corner of Adam’s mouth.

“The acceptance letter is finally here; I thought I hadn’t been accepted.” Opening the envelope, there were two sheets of parchment inside.

The first sheet was the acceptance letter Adam had been longing for these past few days.

“Hogwarts School of magic” Principal: Albus Dumbledore (Order of Merlin, First Class, Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot, Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards) Dear Mr.

Ambrosius, We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of magic.

Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on September 1st.

We await your owl by no later than July 31st.

Yours sincerely, Minerva McGonagall Deputy Principal (Female)” The other sheet was the enclosed list of necessary books and equipment.

“Little fellow, you must be hungry too.” Adam was in no hurry to reply; instead, he tapped the owl’s head with his finger.

“Hoo hoo~~ Hoo hoo~~” The owl tilted its head and looked at Adam, looking adorably silly.

“Come on, follow me downstairs.

I’ll have Lance get you something to eat.” Adam placed the owl on his shoulder and picked up the little white cat, which had darted to the window at some point and was crouching low in a predatory stance.

“Fufu, this little guy can’t play with you; it has to send a letter back in a bit.” Adam stroked the little white cat’s head and tugged at its ear.

Unlike ordinary cats, Fufu’s ears were exceptionally long, and its tail had fluffy fur.

“Meow~~~” Being held in Adam’s arms, Fufu seemed to dislike having its ears touched and kept shaking its head.

“Haha—” Seeing Fufu’s cute appearance, Adam couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

“Hoo~~~” The owl standing on Adam’s shoulder tilted its head and looked at him, as if wondering what this two-legged beast was laughing about.

Adam brought the cat and the owl down to the living room.

“Master Adam—” A House-elf appeared beside Adam.

“Lance, get something for this little fellow to eat.” Adam tickled the owl’s chin with his finger.

“Hoo hoo hoo~~~” “An owl?” Lance only then noticed the owl on Adam’s shoulder.

“That’s right, an owl.

This little fellow came to deliver my acceptance letter.” Adam waved the Hogwarts acceptance letter in his hand.

“Acceptance letter?!” Lance’s expression was somewhat excited, and his voice became a bit high-pitched.

“Master, this—” “Alright, Lance, we’ve already talked about this, haven’t we?” Adam interrupted Lance.

“You should go get some food first; this little fellow has to fly back in a while.” “Alright—” Seeing Adam’s firm expression, Lance knew this matter was non-negotiable.

He could only dejectedly go to the kitchen to find food for this owl he disliked.

Meanwhile, Adam sat at the table with pen and paper to write a reply to Hogwarts.

If it were a Muggle student, the content of the reply would usually be to ask a teacher from the school to visit their home.

After all, for Muggle families, things like magic seemed like a deceptive prank.

However, for Wizard families, there was absolutely no need for a teacher to come.

Their replies were generally about acknowledgement, thanks, and stating they would arrive at school on time.

In fact, it was fine even if one didn’t reply.

As long as you arrived at school on time on September 1st, Hogwarts would accept you.

Like those Pure-blood families, they never bothered to reply.

“At least I seem more polite than them, don’t I?” After finishing the letter, Adam put it into the envelope Lance had placed on the table.

Meanwhile, the owl was already bowing its head, eating the dried meat Lance had brought for it.

“Where’s Ecter?

Why haven’t I seen Ecter?” Adam asked after looking around the living room.

Ecter was the other House-elf in the house.

“He said there wasn’t enough food at home, so he went out to shop.” Lance hadn’t recovered from the shock just now, so he spoke listlessly.

“I see—” Adam nodded.

Seeing Lance’s dejected look, Adam patted his shoulder.

“Don’t worry, Lance, I’ll be fine.” “Besides, you know Hogwarts; it’s very safe there.” As Adam said this, his eyes flickered.

However, because Lance had his head down, he didn’t see it.

“But—” Lance looked up at Adam, his eyes full of worry.

“I know, you’re afraid that I’ll have an accident like my parents, my grandfather, and my great-grandfather.” “But I’ll be inside Hogwarts School.” “What kind of accident do you think could happen to me in school?” “Besides, even if something does happen, the teachers at school will lend a hand.” “Don’t forget, the greatest White Wizard of our time is at Hogwarts.” When mentioning his relatives, Adam’s mouth couldn’t help but twitch slightly.

He didn’t know if his family’s bloodline was cursed.

In the previous few centuries, a Wizard would only appear in the family roughly every hundred years.

Starting from his great-great-grandfather’s generation, Wizards began to appear consecutively, but they were all short-lived.

The one who lived the longest was his great-great-grandfather, who reached fifty.

The one who lived the shortest was his father, who passed away prematurely at only twenty-five.

After learning these things, Adam was afraid he wouldn’t even live to adulthood.

This was why Lance was so worried about him.

Afraid that some accident would happen to him outside, leading to an early death.

Give me more motivation!
