[Detected: The Third Honkai Eruption in Nagazora.
Generating Random Dungeon: ‘Escape from Nagazora’.] [Participating in the dungeon will reward a certain amount of points.] [Participate in the dungeon?] [YES!] [NO!] “??” “??” Elysia couldn’t get tickets to Eden’s concert, so she made do by hanging around outside the venue.
Holding a cup of juice, she got ready to board her flight, still feeling a bit disappointed.
A sudden ping from the group chat made her stop in her tracks.
She looked up and stared at her boarding pass, not sure what to think.
She turned to look out the huge airport windows.
The sun was bright, cicadas buzzed, and the city outside looked as busy and normal as ever.
“Eh?
What ‘Third Honkai Eruption’?” Elysia tilted her head, her beautiful eyes full of confusion.
But the photo Kiana sent to the group chat was clearly from a Honkai disaster.
It showed a huge, scary ‘Chariot-class’ Honkai beast, though it looked a bit smaller than normal.
The buildings in the background also looked unfamiliar.
[Elysia]: “I’m literally in Nagazora right now.
Where is this ‘Honkai Eruption’ coming from?” She took a quick selfie and sent it to the group.
Behind her, people walked by, smiling and relaxed.
Everything looked peaceful, with no sign of trouble.
“…” For a moment, everyone in the group who was about to click [YES!] stopped with their fingers hovering over the button.
—•——•——•——•——•——•— “Is it…
too late…?” A huge shadow loomed over her, blocking out the light.
The Honkai beast’s giant front legs towered above the girl.
As Kiana ran, her eyes went wide with fear.
She felt a chill run down her back.
Suddenly, she lost her balance, and before she knew it, she was in the arms of a very handsome man.
His strong hand and arm around her waist made her feel safe, and her panic faded away.
“Group Admin?” “Yep.” “WATCH OUT!!” Kiana suddenly snapped back to reality.
Staring at the massive boulders raining down from the sky, she hurriedly shouted a warning.
It would be ridiculous to dodge being stomped, only to get crushed by falling rocks instead!
A bright ring of golden light appeared, forming a perfect barrier around them.
The falling rocks bounced off the shield and broke into dust before they could get close.
Then, Zane raised his hand.
As the ‘Chariot’ charged at him with its massive front legs, he just waved.
A huge blade of light shot up into the sky— Vvvvmm!!!
The six-story-tall ‘Chariot’ was cut cleanly in half, as easily as slicing butter.
Both halves crashed to the ground, sending up a huge cloud of dust.
The blade of light kept going without slowing down.
It wiped out the ‘mosquito’ Honkai beasts in the air and then cut straight into the sky.
The thick clouds split apart, leaving a glowing golden gap in the sky.
“!!!” Kiana’s jaw dropped.
She stared in shock, unable to say anything.
“Are you alright?” Zane lowered his head, looking at the young girl in his arms with amusement.
Her shining eyes and white teeth made her ‘O’-shaped mouth look cute, even if it was a bit silly.
“I-I’m fine…
I just…
cough…
It was just a minor slip-up on my part.
Yep, just a slip-up!” Kiana’s cheeks turned bright red and she quickly looked away.
“If I hadn’t already killed thousands of zombies and Honkai beasts earlier and burned through way too much stamina, that big lug…
I would’ve blown its head off with a single shot!!” You can lose the fight, but you can never lose your pride…
For some reason, she really didn’t want to lose face in front of the absurdly handsome Group Admin who had just saved her life.
Zane looked at the girl.
Her chest rose and fell quickly, sweat dotted her pale forehead, and she could barely stand.
Still, she was doing her best to act tough.
He found it amusing right away.
Stubborn to the bitter end, are we?
Even if the world ended, this girl’s stubborn attitude would probably outlast everything else.
Thousands of them?
Why don’t you just ascend to Heaven while you’re at it?
“Ah, sure, sure.” Zane casually humored her.
The death of the Chariot-class Honkai beast didn’t stop the zombie horde from advancing.
These things possessed neither rationality nor fear.
They continued to snarl and lunge forward relentlessly.
“Fuck off,” Zane flicked his finger lightly against the barrier of light.
Vvvvmm!!
A spherical shockwave burst from where they stood, rushing in all directions at incredible speed.
Under the ferocious impact, the surrounding zombies and Honkai beasts were instantly reduced to fine dust.
The ground shook hard.
Buildings in the distance that were still standing collapsed right away, knocked down like dry weeds.
Within a full kilometer radius, every single zombie and Honkai beast was completely purged.
Hsss~ Kiana was utterly stunned by Zane’s single move.
Her mouth dropped to a depth where you could fit an egg in it, and it was hanging open for quite some time.
“Here, drink.” Finding her reaction entertaining, Zane shoved the cocktail he was holding straight into Kiana’s mouth.
The girl was still in shock.
She opened her mouth when she suddenly felt the straw touch her lips.
The cold drink went down her throat, making her already red cheeks turn even redder.
“Cough, cough!” Kiana suddenly realized what had happened.
Zane had been holding this cocktail when he showed up, so that meant this straw…
Didn’t that mean they had just indirectly kissed?!
(Dad, I’m tainted.) —•——•——•——•——•——•— [Holy Spirit]: “@Elysia, Kiana is in Nagazora.
As for the rest, we’ll talk about it when you get here.
Also, if you guys are free, I suggest you all come over.
There are points to be earned.
@Everyone” Elysia couldn’t help but laugh at the thought of finally seeing Fu Hua.
And Kevin.
And everyone else in the Elysian Realm.
They were probably going to be terrified.
[Holy Spirit]: “There won’t be any issues if you leave the Secret Court of the Phantasm Moon, @Eva Can’t Fly (Private Message).” …
Planarcadia, inside the Secret Court of the Phantasm Moon.
A soft but powerful pillar of golden light shot up from the ground, wrapping around the ancient ginkgo tree and the heart of the Secret Court.
The light formed a steady, almost solid barrier.
Evanescia blinked in surprise.
She could feel it clearly: the chains that had held her for so long were finally gone.
Her heart pounded and her hands shivered as she took a deep breath and pressed [YES!].
A flash of golden light surrounded her, and she disappeared from the Secret Court.
Just seconds after she left, a woman with oval glasses, a drawing pen in hand, and dressed in a white trench coat and black skirt quietly entered the Secret Court.
She blinked repeatedly.
“Huh?
Huh?!” Where did my perfectly good Evanescia go?
—•——•——•——•——•——•— [Kiki Cat]: “I’m going to pass.
The Express can’t afford to be left alone right now.” The Astral Express was currently speeding through space.
Without her, it would just be Welt and Dan Heng.
If a sudden emergency popped up, who knew what kind of chaos would ensue?
[Furina]: “I-I’m not going either.” It was much too risky.
She had no divine power, so going there would just make her an easy target.
[Holy Spirit has sent you an exclusive free red packet.] [You have received 1 portion of ‘Hydro Elemental Power (Exclusive to Temporary Dungeon)’ gifted by Holy Spirit.] “???” [Holy Spirit]: “Come on, there are points to be earned.
By the way, you’re going to have to pay me back for this.
@Furina (Private Message)” She figured she could always repay him by keeping him company at night.
Every little bit helps the story survive and grow!
