Where?

Where are they?” Kiana’s sapphire-blue eyes lit up.

She stood on tiptoe, looking around with excitement.

After all, only Elysia, Himeko, and Silver Wolf had posted photos in the chat so far.

Soon, the first figure caught her eye.

A young girl with a bold hip-hop cyberpunk style rode a neon hoverboard, gliding through the air and leaving a bright trail of light behind her.

A swarm of mosquito-like Honkai beasts chased after her, but they couldn’t keep up.

“Yo~ Let’s spice things up a bit!” Silver Wolf grinned playfully.

Kiana stared in disbelief as Silver Wolf suddenly pulled out a huge, dark-red bomb that was actually bigger than she was.

Sparks shot from the fuse at the top.

The bomb had a pixel-art skull on it, with a cartoonish ‘angry’ vein bulging from its forehead.

It looked dangerous, but also a little funny.

Silver Wolf casually tossed it.

The bomb plummeted like a meteor.

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

A string of loud explosions shook the street.

Crimson flames burst out, wiping out the Honkai beasts chasing her.

Even from far away, the heat made Kiana’s cheeks burn.

But what really surprised Kiana was the translucent green numbers that started popping up above Silver Wolf’s head.

[EXP +1] [EXP +1] [EXP +10] “???” Kiana was totally confused.

What the hell is going on?

Is she really treating real life like a video game level?

Is this how she levels up?!

After blasting the area and leaving scorched earth behind, Silver Wolf, still looking like she wanted more action, spun her hoverboard in mid-air and landed smoothly in front of Zane and Kiana.

“Sup.

I’m the Wolf Lord!” “Uh…

Kiana.” Kiana’s eyebrow twitched.

Are all brats this cocky now?

She even gave herself a title like ‘Wolf Lord’?

Whatever.

If you’re strong, you get to make the rules.

Zane was really looking forward to the moment Silver Wolf eventually met Bronya.

He glanced off into the distance.

Bronya should be somewhere in Nagazora right now.

—•——•——•——•——•——•— Almost simultaneously, the hum of a vibrating blade sliced through the air from the opposite side.

A black-and-gray figure raced through the ruined buildings at incredible speed.

The girl moved lightly—and when a zombie lunged at her, she dodged easily and swung her katana in one smooth motion.

Shing!

A sharp sword sound rang out as a wave of freezing energy swept out in a wide arc.

Wherever it passed, zombies and Honkai beasts froze solid and shattered into icy pieces.

As the girl put away her sword and walked over, Kiana finally noticed the fluffy fox ears on her head.

She stared in surprise.

“Are you…

a fox girl?” “Mm.” Miyabi Hoshimi nodded, her expression completely indifferent.

“My ID is ‘Martial Arts Addict Fox’.

That should have been fairly obvious.” After saying that, she turned to Zane and gave a curt nod.

“…” In her head, Kiana labeled her new teammate as a ‘Kuudere’.

SPLASH!!!

In the distance, a massive geyser of water suddenly erupted.

A huge wave advanced forward, several meters high.

The water twisted like living snakes, encircling zombies and crushing them until they burst.

Amidst the splashing water, a panicked scream rang out.

“SOMEBODY SAVE ME~” A young girl in a crown-shaped top hat and navy-blue suit ran over, sprinting right on top of the crashing waves and screaming at the top of her lungs.

Strange creatures made of water surrounded her: a crab with huge pincers, an octopus flailing its tentacles, and a seahorse that looked like a swordsman.

“Scary~ So scary~ They are way too ugly!

I was almost scared to death!” Furina quickly hid behind Zane, grabbing his arm with shaking hands.

Her face was pale with fear.

“…” Kiana’s lips twitched.

Sure, the zombies are ugly, but you just crushed them with water!

Do you really have to be this scared?

Zane, on the other hand, smiled understandingly.

Fontaine didn’t have monsters like these, and Furina hardly ever left the Court of Fontaine.

“Cough, cough!” Seeing everyone’s strange looks, Furina let go of Zane, stood up straight, cleared her throat, and tried to look majestic.

“Ahem~ Standing before you is the Regina of All Waters, Kindreds, Peoples, and Laws, the Archon of Fontaine—Furina de Fontaine.” “…” Kiana and Miyabi stared at her and exchanged a blank look.

Crap.

This little coward is a goddess?

This team was getting more ridiculous by the minute.

Only Silver Wolf stayed cool and distant, acting as if nothing bothered her.

—•——•——•——•——•——•— “Hello there~” Just then, a sweet, melodic voice floated down.

“Whoa~ It’s so bright!” Kiana couldn’t help but shield her eyes.

Where is all this light coming from?

Looking closer, she saw the space in front of them ripple as a huge, beautiful backdrop appeared.

Inside the ‘painting’ was a lush ginkgo tree emitting golden light.

Countless golden ginkgo leaves fluttered out from the illusion into the real world, making a soft rustling sound.

With all these magical effects around her, a beautiful pink-haired girl in a high school uniform walked through the falling leaves.

She had fox ears too, but they were longer and shaped differently from Miyabi’s.

But what caught Kiana’s attention the most was the weapon strapped to her back.

It was a huge, fancy, bright pink…

ruler blade?

There was even a cute pink bow tied to the handle!

“Eh?” “With an outfit like that, shouldn’t you be carrying a badass katana?

A beautiful schoolgirl with a katana—that’s the classic combo!!” Kiana blinked, unable to hold back her critique.

Also, did you seriously just spawn in with your own special background effects?

Is this the VIP treatment for pretty girls?

“Times have changed, Miss Kiana.” Evanescia covered her mouth and giggled, her eyes turning into happy crescents.

She took a long breath and gave Zane a warm nod of thanks.

“Thanks.

I didn’t think I’d get to see the outside world again.

But the air quality here could really be better…” —•——•——•——•——•——•— Finally, Elysia made her grand entrance.

Even in the middle of a ruined battlefield, she stood out.

Her pink hair flowed, her face looked flawless, and her sparkling eyes seemed to say everything.

Even among all these beautiful girls, she was especially eye-catching.

She glided with a dancer’s grace and fired her pink longbow.

Thwip!

Thwip!

Thwip!

Arrows of light shot out like shooting stars, penetrating the zombies’ foreheads and pinning them to the ruins.

Normally, being the massive simp for cute girls that she was, Elysia would have already thrown herself enthusiastically at every single girl present, hugging them and acting incredibly sweet.

But right now…

Elysia’s expression was dead serious.

She hurried over to Zane, her brows furrowed and her voice anxious.

“What exactly is going on here?” She was the first to arrive in Nagazora.

The Honkai energy in the air was so dense it was almost visible.

She knew that heavy feeling right away—it was the sign of a ‘Great Eruption’.

A Great Eruption had undeniably broken out, and a new Herrscher was currently incubating.

But…

how was that even possible?

What was the deal with this ‘Nagazora City’ compared to the ‘Nagazora’ she knew?

Was it really just a coincidence they shared the same name?

“No rush…

Let’s go save the people who need saving first.” Zane waved his hand as if it was no big deal.

“Ah, right!” Kiana snapped out of it and smacked her forehead.

“We need to hurry up and find Mei!” —

Every little bit helps the story survive and grow!
