[Chapter Size: 2700 Words.]

Third Person POV

London.

...

...

The sound of the guitar echoed at the end, finishing the song at 2:00 a.m.

The people in the bar didn't stop applauding. Severus opened a smile as he looked at everyone with satisfaction, that adolescent euphoria, plus the fact that Severus had never been someone outstanding, but rather a person who deeply aspired within his being.

Severus had always wanted to be popular, admired, and respected, something he had never achieved at Hogwarts. Even with his new memories, seeing those people applauding him with the band left him euphoric.

"Well… you saved us tonight, Snape. I admit you certainly play way too well. You might have had some difficulty at the beginning, but you quickly showed what you're capable of. You really didn't lie," said the vocalist, Victor, impressed.

"Thanks, buddy. You showed you're the man, huh," Arthur, the drummer, also approached, touching Severus' shoulder. "We're going to need a guitarist in the coming weeks, until Jack recovers. Victor, couldn't he take over the guitar?" the bassist asked, looking at the leader.

"That's true… we're going to need a guitarist," said the vocalist, looking at Severus.

"About that..." Severus looked away from them and walked through the crowd, which was still clapping. His gaze went to the bar where Mr. Wick was with Pedro, the manager, and Derick at the bar.

Pedro had to help Derick at the bar, since Severus had stayed on stage with the guitar. Even with the situation, no one complained — after realizing they wouldn't be able to get another guitarist, it was better to overload the bar work a little than to be without a band playing. No one else could take the guitar besides Severus, so Mr. Wick didn't mind.

"Sorry, but I have my job at the bar. I'm committed to Mr. Wick, but I appreciate the invitation," Severus declined, but thanked them.

That had been a great experience for him. Playing all night had never been something he had done before — it was something different and exciting —, but it wasn't something he intended to do for long.

"Well, I understand. Anyway, we'll pay you a share for tonight," said the vocalist. With those words, Severus left the guitar and stepped off the stage.

"You played well," Jennifer didn't fail to go talk to him, winking as she picked up glasses and some bottles of drink left by the customers.

"Thank you, I guess." Severus said, giving a friendly smile.

"Hey, guitarist," Severus had just passed by Jennifer when a group of three women approached him.

They started laughing softly as soon as he looked at them. They were certainly new there at the bar — just as there were always new faces showing up every week.

"Are you going to do anything after this? You could come over to my place, have a beer… I'm alone, and my friends will come too. It'll be fun, you could call the band as well..." one of the women said.

"Unfortunately, I have to leave tomorrow morning. I won't be able to accept your invitation. You can talk directly to Victor, he's the vocalist, maybe he'll accept your invitation." Severus declined.

Obviously, that was an invitation with ulterior motives, but he wasn't willing to stay up all night — nor was he used to having a night of sex with someone he didn't really know, even though his body reacted to the women's appearance, who weren't as stunning as his wives, but weren't ugly either, and it didn't help much that they wore quite daring clothes, with a lot of skin showing and short skirts.

He could feel his body almost moving forward when he saw the disappointment in the eyes of the three of them. "Damn…", Severus murmured. He was being influenced by his own adolescent body.

Even though he was mentally older, there was no denying that he was in the prime of youth, and feminine stimuli affected him much more than when he was older.

Severus ignored the women and went back to the bar without looking back.

"So, how are things?", Severus asked Pedro with a smile.

"Good… you left, but we managed. By the way, you play really well."

"That's true, I didn't know you were hiding your talent with the guitar..." Derick said.

"If I said it's the first time I've played guitar, would you believe me?", Severus said to both of them.

Pedro just snorted. "Alright. We believe you..."

Severus didn't insist on that irony, he just shrugged and helped them finish things, cleaning the pub. He wasn't going to stand around doing nothing, so he helped the bar staff. It was already two-thirty when everyone started to leave.

"Are you sure you don't want to come to my place?", Jennifer asked again as he was leaving.

"I appreciate the invitation, Jen, but I need to rest today," Severus replied.

She pouted slightly, but didn't insist. Giving a bold kiss on Severus' cheek before smiling and heading to her side. "Goodbye." she said.

"Man, you're definitely on her radar..." Lucas approached Severus, as the boy looked at the security guard.

"I don't like these things..." Severus didn't fail to comment. He definitely wasn't used to having women as lovers like that, even though in his past life, he was desired by all kinds of women, after all, that's easy when you're the most powerful man in the world. He hadn't taken advantage of that.

"You love someone..." the security guard reached his conclusion.

"..." Severus didn't say anything, but smiled, confirming something like that. He had some women he loved. He was also willing to love in this world, but he hadn't managed to connect with anyone he had met so far.

"Goodbye, everyone." He said his farewells, and with those words, Severus headed to another alley, while the rest of the people went to their homes on the other side, not far from there.

He apparated and returned to the dragon reserve cabin, already late at night. He entered silently and went straight to the bedroom.

The next day, Severus woke up earlier than everyone else, before the sun had fully risen, having slept only about four hours. He apparated to where his small garden was and began planting the seeds he had recently bought, as well as reorganizing the ones he already had. He expanded the space even more, cultivating new plants and more of the old ones.

"Well… this will earn me some good money," he murmured.

After that, he apparated again and appeared near the dragons' nest. He liked staying there, observing them. None of them had noticed his presence — and he preferred it that way at the moment.

He liked the silence, even with the sounds in the background: distant roars, heavy breathing, the beating of wings, and the steps of the enormous bodies across the terrain.

He had a lot to think about.

His journey in the wizarding world hadn't even reached two weeks yet, but his mind was already full of ideas.

"What should I learn now…" He began to reflect.

Apparition he had already mastered quickly, as he had all the theory before he truly began learning at Hogwarts.

Soon, he would also return to working with a cauldron — he intended to see if Lady Mianna would show him the laboratory that day.

He even thought about whether he should leave the pub job to focus entirely on potions.

Severus looked at a nearby stone.

There were runes to learn. There was also Muggle knowledge — he was already studying mechanical engineering with a book he had managed to get.

Combustion engines, coal generating energy… all of that was revolutionary. Something that would have completely changed his previous world if he had that knowledge.

And here… it had already existed for centuries.

Today, the fuel was different, but even so Severus was quite satisfied in knowing how this world had evolved.

His eyes were still on the stone. He focused on it and tried to release his magic. The stone trembled slightly, and he concentrated even more, making it begin to detach from the ground and levitate a few centimeters.

"If I want to return to potions, learning telekinesis would be quite useful for basic tasks," Severus murmured, without taking his eyes off the levitating stone.

Telekinesis was not something aimed at combat — it had never been an ability he possessed in his other world — but it would certainly be quite useful if he managed to master it here.

A sheet appeared in front of him, coming out of his pocket. He picked up a stone with transfiguration and turned it into a kind of quill with ink and began to write. The paper floated in the air, without needing support, remaining steady automatically.

He began to list his study priorities:

Telekinesis — for day-to-day tasks and manual work.

Occlumency — to prevent anyone from invading his mind and being able to control his external emotions.

Legilimency — but in a different way, using it through his warg abilities, like when he managed to enter the mind of that dark wizard and incapacitated him even from a distance.

Ancient Runes — first study the runes of this world. Then, create his own runic combinations, analyze them, and understand how he could better apply the knowledge he had from his other world. Perhaps even invent new ones by combining them with the runes from his former world. He could create brooms, defensive enchantments, or even something more complex.

After that, study Potions and test his abilities.

Until the beginning of September, he should create new potions — potions that would improve his body again. For that, he would need to recreate the plants and herbs he knew from his past life, or at least find equivalents in this world.

And for that, he would have to modify the genetics of the plants, enhance them, remove side effects, or even create new ones with unique properties.

Amid all of this, he also needed to raise money. He could sell potions made in the laboratory, as well as sell herbs to potion shops — being careful not to draw attention or seem suspicious. For that, he might need to alter his identity.

He didn't want to stop making money, not even at Hogwarts. He would need to find a way to raise funds and perhaps even discover a way to apparate there more easily, even within the castle's protection — but he would leave that for when the time came.

In any case, Severus also needed to understand how his abilities interacted with this world.

His warg abilities were still firm. He could conjure fire and ice — raising both hands, without a wand — manipulating both elements with ease. Just like the force of nature, at the peak of his past life, he could create an entire forest, what could he do in this life? He could certainly surpass himself with the abilities of nature...

He needed to find an isolated place to train the elements.

There was so much to do… he couldn't visualize all the possibilities at that moment, but his mind was already full of ideas.

And there was also Muggle knowledge. He wanted to learn more about it — engineering, designs, weapons. He wanted to understand how modern weapons worked.

Humanity had traded swords and shields for gunpowder weapons. From what he had managed to sift through in his memories, there were pistols, machine guns, and all kinds of weapons.

Wars that were no longer fought on horseback, but with tanks, airplanes… where anyone could fly through the sky, as long as they knew how to pilot that machine.

He would be lying if he said he wasn't fascinated.

The wizarding world even seemed foolish for ignoring what the Muggle world was capable of doing. In some aspects, Muggles even had more destructive power than wizards. Not even magical shields could stop something like a bomb from destroying an entire house.

He then put the paper away, not forgetting to use his wand to dry the ink made from transfiguration so it wouldn't smudge along with so many of his ideas. The paper was stored in his pocket, and he reverted the quill back into a stone again.

The other stone was still floating in the air, on its own.

"Well… there's so much to see…" He thought about it until a roar interrupted his thoughts.

A dragon was flying over the area while the sun was still rising. It passed along the mountain's edge and approached, landing before roaring at Severus. It was a Hebridean Black Dragon.

"Hello, Umbrax," Severus said, touching the creature's snout, calming it.

"I know, I know… I wasn't here yesterday. But today I'll take care of you, alright?" Severus looked at the stone he had been keeping in the air with telekinesis. It fell to the ground after the interruption caused by Silvana's arrival.

"Well… I'll have to learn to maintain telekinesis even while my mind is occupied with something else."

That would be extremely useful.

The former Severus had already been studying ways to keep his mind always closed with Occlumency — to prevent anyone from reading it, and to be able to control his emotions, always appearing indifferent. That helped control his expressions and prevent others from perceiving his thoughts.

But he wanted to go further. If he could split his mind… create subconscious commands… make it work on two functions at the same time...

For example: maintaining a potion being prepared with telekinesis, stirring it automatically while adding ingredients in the right measure, while another part of his mind was reading a herbology book...

Or even casting two spells at the same time. "Would that be possible…?"

He began to consider possibilities. Maybe he could find a way to do it… or even adapt the use of magic to allow simultaneous casting.

There were many questions.

Many possibilities.

Severus almost wanted to laugh.

As he thought about it, he continued stroking Umbrax's snout. It was a very hyperactive and friendly dragon, but its energy could cause accidents.

She had already broken Cedric's arm once, when she turned and hit him with her tail by accident while eating.

Dragons were not easy creatures. Lady Mianna had already said that more than two people had died there in the last ten years.

And still… Severus smiled.

In any case, he said he would return to the dragon and apparated, returning inside the cabin. He found Lady Mianna in the kitchen, preparing eggs. Since he had disappeared outside, he had to enter through the door — it would be rude to do it directly inside the house, besides being one of Mianna's rules.

"Ah, there you are. I saw you went out in the morning," she said, looking at him.

Severus just gave a smile. "I'm taking care of a personal garden for ingredients… and I also went to the dragon area just to think a little." He didn't lie.

She simply raised an eyebrow. It didn't seem unusual at all — he had already talked about the garden and she herself had seen him in the morning, sitting on a rock above the dragon nest, thoughtful.

"Do you want to talk about something?" she asked.

Severus laughed. "No, that's not the kind of problem I'm having. I'm just thinking about a few things… and about magic." Mianna, despite being surprised, simply nodded, not insisting much.

Severus returned to the bedroom, prepared his things for the day, and then came back. Cedric and Alastair were already at the table, and he joined them while they talked.

"Well, you two go ahead to get things started. We'll prepare the food for all the dragons and then we'll make a point of showing Severus in front of them, so they can see that he's here today," Mianna said.

Then, she turned to Severus. "I'll show you the laboratory."

With that, the two went down to the basement. There, there was a somewhat dusty laboratory, but still functional.

Even so, Severus opened a smile upon seeing the environment.

There was a huge cauldron, several shelves with ingredients… but his gaze was mainly focused on the central cauldron.

"I like it," he said, excited.
