“Are you kids ready to leave?” David asked excitedly, he was strangely more excited than we were, which was, pretty strange.

Considering that the King’s cross station was in London, and we lived in London, Daphne’s family had decided to come to our home first and leave for the station together.

David had specially prepared his favorite Limousine for the journey, even William looked slightly excited looking at the car.Full novel: HP/DxD: Annihilation Maker doesn’t wish for Annihilation — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Going close to David, I asked in a low voice so that only the two of us could hear, “Hey, what are you so excited about?”

“Of course, it’s because you are leaving. Now your mom and I can have all the time together we want.” David said cheekily.

Now, they say staying in a bad company is bad for you…

Maybe they were right, because in this situation, previously I would have just scoffed…

but now,

I pulled something out from my spatial storage monster, a very handy monster by the way.

And handed it to David.

It…

was a pack of condoms, the very same mom had given me yesterday.

“Remember to use protection, wouldn’t want the property to split up.” I said, with a smirk.

David was dumbfounded.

Then his eyes actually went slightly misty.

He placed his hands on my shoulders, “That’s my son… You’ve finally grown up… I am proud of you.” He even made a mock gesture of wiping off his tears to make it look more realistic.

“Enough of that… take this monster with you. It is a special command type monster, with it you can command the monsters I have placed here actively. But do not use it casually, and remember to take it with you whenever you go outside. If you use it, I will receive an alarm indicating that you are in danger, and teleport here. So use it wisely, got it?” I said with a serious expression, I had already handed a similar monster to mom sometime before, and with this, my preparations here were complete. Of course, I had also placed many hidden monsters which was to protect them even without them knowing, as a last round of defense, to buy time if some real threat appeared.

With my own energy reserves falling to inadequate levels due to my Hogyoku, I had to improvise slightly.

Annihilation maker- Balance Breaker- Imaginary tree monster- absorbs the sunlight and converts it into magical energy.

I created such tree monsters and planted them across the mansion, these tree monsters were responsible for creating an ecosystem where they powered the monsters placed within the mansion.

There was also an additional storage monster to store surplus energy to be used in times of lack of sunshine.

“Aye aye captain.” David gave a mock salute as he agreed, carefully merging the monster to his body.

With all preparation done, our group of seven people left for King’s cross.

King’s cross was like how you would expect a railway station to be, it was somewhat aesthetic, but not anything significant.

Nowhere near as awesome as Harry made it out to be by literally seeing the afterlife as King’s cross.

“Are you hundred percent certain this is the right spot, Evelyn? And can I and David even enter? You know, we don’t have magic…” Emilia asked with concern, she wasn’t really thrilled at the aspect of running towards a pillar, if it turned out to be a fake, there would be a painful crash.

“Don’t worry, since you have been provided a ticket by an official, you can enter safely, just believe in yourself. Confidence is the key.” Evelyn, a.k.a.

Mrs. Greengrass, explained.

“Umm, Damien dear, why don’t you try it first.” Emilia still didn’t believe it and pushed me to the front, leading me to stare at her blankly.

“Umm, auntie, it would be better if Mom or Dad go first and show it to us, after all, even I am doing this for the first time… Come on, Dad! You’re up!” Astoria said what Daphne wanted to say but was too introverted to.

“Ah yes, sweetheart, just do the same as me.” William said and lightly ran towards the pillar, then, as if the pillar was made of some liquid, he completely submerged into it, with the pillar returning back to normal and William vanishing.

even though with my physique, there was no way a simple collision could hurt me, I still closed my eyes at the very last moment.

But the awaited collision did not happen, when I opened my eyes, my surroundings had changed, once again, like when I had entered Diagon alley, it felt like taking a step into the past.

This was Platform 9 and a three quarters, it had only one track, upon which was a train with a very old fashioned steam engine.

‘You got to hand it to wizards, they sure are a backward community…

Muggles have Bullet trains running around in some countries and they are here still using a steam engine, maybe they should take some inspiration from the devils and at least develop magical trains.’

“Huh, why does the Hogwarts express looks worse than the trains outside?” My thoughts were broken by Daphne who just entered the platform.

And even she, a complete newbie, was able to notice the inadequacy of the Hogwarts express compared to the standard railways.

“I would love to explain, but you will complain that I am being racist.” I said with a teasing smile.

“Don’t worry, you are a wizard too, you have the pass, say whatever you want, I am all ears. But maybe we should find an empty place, I am definitely saying that I don’t know you if you offend everyone and they jump you.” Daphne said casually, it seems she has already started developing resistance to my teasing.

“Well, let’s go find a seat once everyone’s here.” I shrugged.

“Damien, I know you have planned everything, but if things get bad and you feel that Hogwarts doesn’t suit you, tell us, okay?” Mom said concerned, she was actually crying, which made me feel emotional too.

Dad on the other hand did not say much, but once our eyes met, he gave a knowing nod…

which, in fact, was communication enough.

“Goodbye… See you on Christmas…” I said and boarded the train, Daphne too was done with farewell.

“Let’s find an empty compartment.” I said, extending my hand, helping Daphne up to board the train.
