Jinx and Chen Shengnan hurriedly looked at the note, only to see that it read:

One master.

Both of them froze, staring at Luoluo with astonished expressions.Full novel: I Am the Mental Counselor of the Netherworld Death Prison — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Qin Hao laughed. “The so-called ‘master’ couldn’t be you, could it?”

Luoluo nodded firmly. “Congratulations! You have won the super hidden grand prize of this Game of the Brave: one master. And that master is naturally me!”

Qin Hao laughed helplessly. “I won the championship, gained no benefits at all, and instead became a servant. Is this really a reward?”

“How shallow! Having me as your master comes with countless benefits.” Luoluo counted them off on her fingers as she explained:

“First, I’ll entrust all my property to you to manage, and you can earn a considerable amount of compensation. Second, as long as you don’t betray me, I, your master, will definitely protect you, with no limit on the number of times. Third, as my servant, you can exercise authority on my behalf. That’s far more impressive than being some ordinary minor official. Fourth, as my servant, as long as you perform well, I’ll definitely find you a super-beautiful wife.”

Qin Hao smiled. “I see. As long as I become your servant, I get not only the original rewards but even better ones?”

“Exactly!”

Qin Hao nodded. “Then I refuse.”

“Why?”

Luoluo furrowed her brows and looked at him doubtfully.

But it was not she who asked the question. It was Jinx and Chen Shengnan.

Forget wealth, power, and beauty for the moment. The fact that she could protect Qin Hao an unlimited number of times alone was enticing enough.

Everyone knew what a five-star rank powerhouse represented. With her protection, as long as he did not court death by provoking someone as ruthless as the warden, no one in this prison would dare touch him.

Qin Hao smiled faintly. “Because I won’t bow and scrape, and I won’t flatter anyone.”

As Jinx looked at Qin Hao, a strange gleam suddenly flashed through her eyes. A man like this was what one could truly call a real man, wasn’t he?

“Ridiculous! For the sake of so-called dignity, you’re going to give up so much—even your life?” Luoluo’s little face darkened as she asked Qin Hao coldly, her tone no longer innocent and adorable.

Qin Hao nodded without the slightest hesitation. “Many people regard these things as the goals they pursue throughout their lives, but I don’t care about them.”

“No one can refuse me!” Luoluo’s expression grew increasingly gloomy. She seemed to have truly lost her temper.

Qin Hao said nothing more. Instead, he sat down and began reading a book, making his attitude perfectly clear.

Seeing this, a cold glint flashed through Luoluo’s eyes. She stepped toward Qin Hao, her clothes and hair moving despite the absence of wind.

“Don’t!” Jinx and Chen Shengnan shouted in unison.

Luoluo ignored them and walked straight up to Qin Hao, reaching out to grab his neck.

But just as her hand was about to touch Qin Hao, it suddenly stopped. An invisible force blocked it.

At the same time, a figure appeared beside Qin Hao and said calmly to her:

“That’s enough. Don’t forget why you came here.”

“The warden!”

Upon seeing her, Jinx and Chen Shengnan cried out together.

The newcomer was Wang Ling.

Luoluo glanced at Wang Ling, withdrew her hand, and muttered:

“I won’t forget.”

“Then come with me.” Wang Ling reached out and placed a hand on her shoulder.

Luoluo glanced at Qin Hao and asked Wang Ling, “I’ve taken a liking to him. Once the task is complete, I don’t want the original compensation. I only want…”

Before she could finish, the two of them disappeared from the room.

Witnessing this, Jinx and Chen Shengnan were both stunned. Two living people had simply vanished on the spot. Was this the warden’s power?

A thoughtful look appeared in Qin Hao’s eyes.

Clearly, Luoluo was no ordinary prisoner. She had come carrying some kind of mission or purpose. In fact, she might not even be a prisoner.

And the timing of her appearance was precisely after that inexplicable tremor.

Could the two be connected?

Could it be that Luoluo had come to resolve that inexplicable tremor?

After a moment, Chen Shengnan was the first to recover. She apologized to Qin Hao a few times before leaving.

Jinx, meanwhile, spoke to Qin Hao with a complicated look in her eyes:

“Congratulations. You really did win Luoluo’s affection. She even voluntarily gave up her compensation and asked the warden for you instead.”

“What is there to congratulate me for? That’s her business and has nothing to do with me.” Qin Hao spoke indifferently and finally pressed the button for the protective barrier, retracting it.

“How does that have nothing to do with you? If you went with her, you wouldn’t have to worry about your future.” Jinx came before him and spoke with her large eyes wide open.

Qin Hao glared at her in exasperation. “Just because she likes me, I have to become her servant? If I took a liking to you and asked you to be my girlfriend, would you agree?”

“Actually, it’s not that I wouldn’t.” Jinx glanced at him and spoke somewhat bashfully.

Crash!

Qin Hao was just about to speak when a loud crash suddenly came from the doorway.

He turned to look and saw Liu Fang standing at the entrance, holding up a metal plate. The loud crash just now had been the sound of the metal plate hitting the floor.

“What’s this?” Qin Hao walked over and examined the metal plate.

“This is the new door I found for you!” Liu Fang replied.

Qin Hao looked utterly astonished. “This is just a metal plate. How are we supposed to install it? How do we open and close it?”

“Simple.” Liu Fang carried the metal plate to the doorway, forcefully jamming it into the lintel. To his surprise, she shoved the metal plate into the lintel, then pushed downward, pressing its lower edge into the floor.

Thus, the entrance was blocked.

“How am I supposed to open and close the door?” Qin Hao looked at the metal plate before him, caught between laughter and tears.

“Watch me.” Liu Fang gave a light shout and pushed the metal plate forcefully to one side.

Thud, thud, thud.

As bricks flew everywhere, she forcibly carved a groove into the lintel and the floor.

The original sliding door had actually been modified into a side-sliding door by her.

Whoosh, crash!

Seeing that it was more or less done, Liu Fang slid the door back into place. It actually fit together perfectly.

Looking at the smooth metal plate door, Qin Hao asked helplessly, “How am I supposed to open it? You should at least give me a handle.”

“That’s true.” Liu Fang nodded and thought for a moment. Then she clenched her fist and punched the edge of the metal plate door, piercing through it and leaving behind a fist-sized hole.

“There, that should do it. You can push hard now.” Liu Fang looked at her handiwork and smiled with satisfaction.

Qin Hao shook his head and laughed helplessly, while Jinx beside him rolled her eyes dramatically at Liu Fang:

“Brute!”

She had been discussing something important with Qin Hao, only to be interrupted by Liu Fang, which left her filled with resentment.

However, at that very moment, an unexpected change suddenly occurred.
