“Is this a subscenario?” Princess Evelyn thought as she stared at the people smiling at her politely.

“House Orlaine, House Bellecourt, House Valemont and prominent families of the South and West.

In the original disgrace of the royal family, this type of crowd can only be seen in a debutante or a coming of age ceremony so why?” Genevieve thought as she scanned the crowd quickly.Full novel: I Transmigrated As The Disgrace Of The Royal Family. — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Why are they all present for a mere tea party?” Genevieve thought with a hum.

“Come to think of it, there was no mention of Princess Evelyn ever attending a teaparty in the original disgrace of the royal family.” Genevieve thought as her mind raced.

In the original disgrace of the royal family, Princess Evelyn was discovered by the King after she was awakened and the King who didn’t care about her, left her with the same maids who tortured her and that was how Princess Evelyn’s submissive spirit was born.

The Queen and Princess Roselyn who knew that the King let the maids treat Princess Evelyn like that, fueled the maids to torture her while appearing to her as a savior making her both dependent and grateful to them.

In order to thwart that fate, I made sure to deal with the maids and create a stage where the King couldn’t treat me badly without consequence.

With the arrival of a perfectly fine Princess Evelyn, the King can no longer send someone to abuse me and even the Queen and Princess Roselyn must thread cautiously.

“But what did they prepare?” Genevieve thought as she glanced at the Queen.

“What did they prepare to make her smile like that?” Genevieve thought anxiously as the Queen smiled under her fan.

“Presenting the second princess of Almira” a guard said and all attention left Princess Evelyn.

“Daughter to the current Queen and a rare genius acknowledged by the academy.” The guard said as a girl with light pink hair and beautiful blue eyes stepped into the room in a beautiful pink gown.

“Princess Roselyn Arabella Montigue.” “There she is.” Genevieve thought as she stared at Princess Roselyn with poorly disguised hate.

“The one who sold Princess Evelyn to the tyrant that destroyed her.” Genevieve thought as her eyes darkened.

Nine months after the first Queen, Queen Beatrice Celeste Montigue died, the King married the second Queen, Queen Rose Theodora Montigue and in just three months, the King threw a grand ceremony to celebrate the new Queen and the birth of the second princess, like the first Queen and Princess Evelyn was all a bad nightmare that could be replaced by an emergency of a new “family”.

As a reader of the original novel, I tried to understand Princess Roselyn at first.

Princess Evelyn was far more powerful than her, she never manifested the power of the dragon and she could never get the love of commoners no matter how much she tried but was that enough reason?

“Was that enough reason to sell Princess Evelyn like a lamb to slaughter?” Genevieve thought as she gripped the edges of her gown.

“Forgive me for taking center stage, when I am not even the host of this party but I wanted to do something for my big sister.” Princess Roselyn said as she came to stand beside Princess Evelyn.

“As you all know, my sister was frail from an incurable disease so she hasn’t been able to attend any tea party.” Princess Roselyn said sadly as she tugged on the heartstrings of every noble woman present.

“So now that she is here,” Princess Roselyn said as he lifted her head up excitedly.

“I, as her little sister came up with all sorts of events to make her first tea party successful.” Princess Roselyn said brightly and all the nobles in the room smiled at her fondly.

“This was her strength.” Genevieve thought.

“Princess Roselyn has always been sensible.” a Countess said with a fond smile.

“Princess Roselyn was so artificially warm and kind, that anyone who saw her fell for her “warmth”.” Genevieve thought the same time a Marchioness said “I would do anything to have a daughter like that.” “If I didn’t read the book, I would have fallen for her act too” Genevieve thought as she pulled Princess Roselyn into a hug and said “Thank you, little sister” “But as a reader I can safely confirm-” Genevieve thought as she pulled away from Princess Roselyn whose expression has shifted from revulsion to friendliness in an instant.

“That there is no difference between Princess Roselyn and her mother.” Genevieve thought as Princess Roselyn said “You’re welcome big sister.” with a big smile.
