“Princess Evelyn is such a good child too.” a Viscountess mumured.

“I can’t imagine loosing my mother and being confined to my bed from birth.” a Marchioness said and most of the noble women looked at Princess Evelyn with pity.

“What Princess Evelyn needs now is a family.” said the Matriach of a powerful Southern family.Full novel: I Transmigrated As The Disgrace Of The Royal Family. — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“I am happy that the children get along.” The Matriarch said and the Queen gritted her teeth underneath her fan.

“For each event today, we will be drawing lots.” Princess Roselyn said happily and all the children buzzed in anticipation as a maid stepped up with a wooden box.

“Princess Roselyn always has the best tea parties.” children whispered.

“I can’t wait to see what she has planned.” the children whispered excitedly as all their attention shifted to Princess Roselyn.

Smirking slightly, Princess Roselyn said “Lady Ayra, will pick the first lot.” and a brunette with green eyes walked up to the ballot confidently.

Rummaging the ballot for a few seconds, Lady Ayra picked out a piece of paper that said “Tea tasting.” “For this event, the servants will bring an array of teas from all around the kingdom and we will all be divided into groups.

The groups with the most points, will be given a gift from the royal family.” Princess Roselyn said and the eyes of every little girl in the room, blazed in anticipation as a slight competitive spirit filled the air.

“It’s a class game isn’t it?” Genevieve thought as competitive spirit filled the air.

“The ability to buy the most luxurious of things that commoners could work their whole life but never buy is the one thing nobles pride themselves in.” Genevieve thought with a hum.

“That’s why coats maid with fox fur, potions with top grade items, mana stones crafted into jewelry and something as basic as tea are all ridiculously expensive.” Genevieve thought as the anticipation also reached the adults.

“Never doubt the ability of a noble to prove that they possess the best of the best.” Genevieve thought with a hum.

“Isn’t this unfair for boys” a boy with brown hair and blue eyes, complained and Genevieve narrowed her eyes at him.

“Casper White.” Genevieve thought as her nails dug into the skin of her palms.

“Well if it isn’t Princess Roselyn’s guard dog.” Genevieve thought as she clenched her jaw.

Hailing from a family that produces world class knights, Casper White was a genius swordsman who rose to be the captain of the palace guards.

Polite to everyone and compassionate where it counts, Casper White was the perfect gentleman who turned into a dog when Princess Roselyn so much as stubbed her toe.

“Yes.” another boy with unremarkable features said in agreement.

“Some of us spend most of our time training, we don’t have time for tea.” a boy whose face Genevieve couldn’t see from her position said and the other boys in the room agreed with him.

“For this event the boys are chaperones.” Princess Roselyn declared.

“You are too collect everyone’s answers and bring them for review.” Princess Roselyn said and the little boys nodded as the anticipation in the room increased.

With excitement high in the air, the children began to chatter among themselves and Genevieve noticed that a little girl with light blue hair and dark blue eyes was being cast aside.

Flashback “Get away!” a little girl screamed as she pushed five year old Genevieve to the ground.

“I am sorry.” Genevieve apologized immediately.

“I just wanted to-” Genevieve tried to explain only to be cut off.

“Wanted to what?!” yelled the little girl before her.

“No one wants you here, how many times have I told you.” the little girl said with a humph as she walked away with her friends.

Flashback end “What?” Genevieve thought as she shook her head quickly.

“Am I thinking of such pointless things just because I have reverted to a child?” Genevieve thought to herself.

“I am sorry.” the little girl with light blue hair and dark blue eyes spoke and Princess Evelyn’s head snapped towards her.

“I am sorry for not knowing my place.” the little girl with light blue hair and dark blue eyes said and something in Genevieve’s heart ached at her dejected expression.

“Who is she?” Genevieve thought as she racked her brain.

“Was she ever mentioned in the original disgrace of the royal family?” Genevieve thought in confusion.

“I am going off to see my friends.” Princess Roselyn said and Genevieve snapped out of her reverie.

“Would you be okay on your own?.” Princess Roselyn asked Genevieve politely.

“Of course.” Genevieve said with a smile.

“I will try to mingle as well.” Genevieve said as she stepped down from the platform as well.

As Genevieve walked into the crowd of children, everyone greeted her respectfully and tried to make conversations she couldn’t turn down without being called rude.

Playing the part of a cheerful little girl, Genevieve entertained every discussion with a bright smile and the adults nodded in approval at her behavior.

“The first princess is so cheerful.” noblewomen whispered.

“I can’t believe she is so bright despite her years of confinement.” noble women whispered as all attention gradually shifted to Princess Evelyn.

In no time at all, maids entered the room with a medium sized table filled with thirty tea cups and the games began in earnest.

The boys divided the girls into three groups and each group containing five girls was led to a particular section that contained ten teacups.

Each section was demarcated by ribbons so each group was assigned a color.

Princess Evelyn was team purple along with three other girls of high nobility and the girl who was being cast aside.

“Begin.” Casper White said and Genevieve watched as the little girl with light blue hair and dark blue eyes shied away from everyone.

“It’s fairies kiss.” a blonde girl with pink eyes whispered.

“No, it’s pixie Berry.” a girl with black hair and orange eyes whispered as she cleaned her spoon with a napkin, dipped it into the tea cup and brought it to her mouth to taste again.

“I also believe it is pixie Berry.” another girl in the group whispered while Genevieve agreed with the blonde girl with pink eyes.

The girl with light blue hair and deep blue eyes was supposed to be the tie breaker but the people in Genevieve’s team just looked at her and scoffed.

“I will conceed this time.” said the girl with blonde hair and pink eyes.

“But you must take my advice on the next one.” the blonde girl with pink eyes said and the other girl nodded in agreement.

By the end of the game, Genevieve’s team got nine right and came in second place because of the first question.

“I told you.” the girl with blonde hair and pink eyes grumbled and the two girls who insisted that it was pixie Berry laughed as they apologized.

As the other girls chattered, the girl with blue hair and dark blue eyes almost folded in on herself and Genevieve couldn’t bear to watch any longer as she approached her.

“Hey.” Genevieve said before quickly saying “Excuse me.” to the little girl with light blue hair and dark blue eyes.

“I am really new to these things and I haven’t been able to make any friends yet.” Genevieve said as she stepped closer to her.

“Will you do me the favor of being my friend?
