Extra Chapter: The Creation of Weapons and Artifacts
Weapons and artifacts are very common, and it does not necessarily require the creator to use a specific magic, such as blessings or curses.
They are classified as Sacred Artifacts and Weapons or Corrupted Artifacts and Weapons. Both can be influenced by people who use elemental magic, with the sacred being made through blessings and the corrupted through curses, infusing mana and corrupting it.
But there are other ways to make these items, which is through runes that use external means to bless them, through the gods, making the weapons and artifacts much more powerful. Divine script is used for the rituals and runes, but many simply follow what those before them left behind, without knowing for sure how to do it.
To activate magic, for example, one speaks the name of the God in the divine language and then speaks the intention of the magic. Many only know the divine names of the gods without knowing the exact translation of the name. If you know the correct script, you can also select specific spells, such as a light protection spell or making a flaming sword through fire spells.
This allows many to have artifacts at no cost other than that of manufacturing. However, because it requires knowledge, only people from families who already possess this knowledge or people with the necessary magic or knowledge can manage to do it. This is a reality that is changing thanks to the tower and the city, which over the years grew and became known as the City of Knowledge, where the Sage's Tower is located, changing every century.
