After a while, I thought about trying to draw. There is paper here, and incredibly, a quill too—one of those old-fashioned ones you dip in ink. Even though I’ve never used a quill before, I start by trying to draw a yellow mouse. However, it doesn't turn out the way I imagined. Instead of my hand making the stroke the way I want, it ends up going past the point I intended or turning out crooked. But that's fine; this is still much easier than learning to play an instrument or reading those romance novels.
I keep trying. I attempt different ways of holding the quill to see if the drawing improves, and then I try something simpler: a smiley face. Although the line for the smile turned out crooked, I managed to fix it by adding more lines over it. The real problem was the circle. I decided to lie down on the bed while drawing, and time just flew by.
After a while, I got tired and went to drink some wine. I relaxed a bit. I'm already starting to get used to my new body. The problem is that having long hair is really strange. Think about it: whenever you lie down or sit down, your hair stays trapped behind you, touching your back. It's weird, but I have no choice, since I can't wish for things for myself. And this place is cold, which is due to the fact that there’s an opening where the air passes through.
Some time later, I decide to try singing. I'm going to take advantage of my beautiful new voice and try singing anime songs. I’ve always wanted to try singing Naruto's Blue Bird. In my old body, my voice didn't suit the song at all, but now it's different: I have a beautiful voice.
Habatakitara (or hishou taitara)
modoranai to itte
mezashita no wa
aoi aoi ano sora
kanashimi wa mada oboerarezu
setsunasa wa ima tsukami hajimeta
anata e to daku kono kanjou mo
ima kotoba ni ka...
"What comes after that? Damn it, if I had known, I would have watched the opening more times!"
Now, thinking about it, my voice didn't really sound like I was singing; it felt more like I was just speaking loudly or shouting. Damn, how I wish I had a photographic memory... But wait a minute! I heard somewhere back in my old world that you can acquire a photographic memory through training. If I can pull that off, I can find ways to teach myself and have fun at the same time. Since I watched a lot of videos on the internet—many of which I don't even remember clearly now—I can use this to learn.
